단결정 MnF2(1.5% EuF3)의 자기 감수율 (Magnetic Susceptibility of the Single Crystal MnF2(1.5% EuF3))

  • Rutile 구조를 가진 반강자성체 $MnF_2$내에서 Eu의 자기적 성질을 알아내기 위해 단결정 $MnF_2$(1.5% $EuF_3$)의 자기 감수율을 $4{\sim}300K$사이의 온도 구간에서 측정했다. 측정된 자기 감수율의 분석을 통해서 $EuF_3$의 첨가로 추가되는 자기 감수율 역시 $MnF_2$와 마찬가지로 상자성 큐리 온도가 -값을 가지는 반강자성 Curie-Weiss 법칙을 만족하는 것을 확인했다. 또한 Eu의 경우 +3가를 띄고 있는 것을 확인하여 기존의 일치되지 않는 연구들의 문제점을 해결했다.

  • Five cast gamma titanium aluminides, Ti-45~48%Al-2%Nb-2%Cr (nominal composition in at. %), were laser welded and their weld cracking susceptibilities were evaluated. Laser power, traversing rate and preheat temperature were systematically varied to generate a series of welds exhibiting a wide range of cooling rate ($100^{\circ}C/s-10,000^{\circ}C/s$). As Al content increased and the weld cooling rate decreased, solidification cracking susceptibility increased while solid-state cracking susceptibility decreased. Through laser beam energy input control and preheat, it was determined possible to produce high quality laser welds.

  • The research is to insure the soundness of the stainless steel overlaid weld metal(21/4Cr-IMo steel + SUS 309L) for a pressure vessel application. Detail studies were conducted for the PWHT influence on the micrstructure and intergranular corrosion characteristics of the overlaid weld metal as well as initiation of hydrogen embrittlement crack(or Disbonding) when welded metal are exposed to the hydrogen atmosphere. Hydrogen was experimentally charged to the overlaid weld metal in order to study PWHT effect on the susceptibility of hydrogen embrittlement crack. The results of this research are as follows: 1. At the bond region, austenite grain of the stainless steel side became coarsed and Cr23C6 type carbide was precipitated at the coarsed austenitic grain boundaries. Intergranular Corrosion width(by Straiss test) increased with increasing PWHT temperature and PWHT time.

도축우 소장에서 Clostridium perfringens 분리 및 시간경과에 따른 균수변화 추이 (The change of the population of Clostridium perfringens isolated from intestinal contents in slaughter cattle)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the biochemical characteristics, the population and antibiotic susceptibility test of Clostridium perfringens isolated from intestinal contents of slaughter cattle in Kyung-ju and Po-hang. 1. In slaughter cattle Cl perfringens were isolated from intestinal contents of 51 of 101 cases(50.4%) and the population were $\leq$$10^5$cfu/ml of 44 cases(86.3%). 2. In antibiotic susceptibility test, ampicillin, bacitracin, cephalothin, penicillin polymyxin B were highly susceptible, ohloramphenicol, erythromycin, tetracycline were lowly susceptible, gentamicin, kanamycin, amikacin, streptomycin, sulfamethoxine, sulfamethazine were resistant. 3. In leaving test intestinal contents leaved for 0, 4, 8, 16, 32 hours in room temperature and population of Cl perfringens were gradually increased.

  • 항공기의 생존성 향상을 위해서는 추진기관에서 방사되는 적외선 신호를 감소시켜야 하며 이를 위해서는 후방동체의 온도 저감이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 후방동체 내/외부의 유동 및 열전달 현상을 파악하여 각 벽면의 온도 분포를 살펴보았고 노즐 벽면의 재질 특성 및 형상, 복사 차폐막의 유무가 열전달에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 항공기의 피탐지성을 낮출 수 있는 설계 조건을 확인하였다.

  • To estimate the reliability of 12Cr alloy steel, the material of turbine blade in the steam power plant, Its corrosion susceptibility and fatigue characteristics in NaCl and Na$_2$SO$_4$solution with the difference of concentration and temperature was investigated. The polarization tests recommended in ASTM G5 standard for corrosion susceptibility in the various corrosive solutions was estimated. It showed that the higher temperature, the faster corrosion rates and corrosion rates were the fastest in 3.5 wt.% NaCl and 1M Na$_2$SO$_4$solution. From these results, the degradation conditions were determined in distilled water, 3.5 wt.% NaCl and 1M Na$_2$SO$_4$solution at room temperature, 60$\^{C}$ and 90$\^{C}$ during 3, 6 and 9 months. Its surface had a few pits for long duration. But, it was not susceptible in sulfide and chloride condition of several temperatures. If the degraded 12Cr alloy steel and non-degraded one were compared with fatigue characteristics, Any differences were not found regardless of temperature and degradation period.

  • 지리학적 특성으로 국내는 계절 동토지역으로 겨울철에는 동상현상이 발생하고 봄철에는 지반이 해빙된다. 도로는 다양한 재료와 단면으로 구성된 구조물이기 때문에 환경성과 재료 물성뿐만 아니라 포장체 각 층의 구조적 적정성 또는 지지력을 파악하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 현재 기존 동상방지층 설계법에 따르면, 동상방지층은 포장체의 구조적 적정성과는 무관하게 온도조건에 따른 동결깊이에 따라 일률적으로 결정되고 있다. 이러한 동결깊이를 포장구조설계에 적용함으로써 포장의 과다설계 우려가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 노상층, 동상방지층, 보조기층의 역학적 실험을 실시하여 동상민감성을 판단하고 실규모 현장도로 모형축소 실험을 실시하였다. 동상민감성을 판단하기 위하여 토층별 온도, 동결팽창량, 부동수분 및 동결깊이를 측정하였다.

Synthesis and Photoinduced Magnetic Properties of a Mn12 Single Molecule Magnet by the cis-trans Isomerism of Azobenzene

  • [$Mn_{12}O_{12}(azo-L)_{16}(H_2O)_4$] (1), a new Mn12 single molecule magnet containing a photochromic azobenzene ligand, has been successfully synthesized by substitution of acetate ligand of Mn12 with 6-[4-{4-hexyloxyphenyl( azo)}-phenoxy]hexanoic-1-acid. The reversible photoisomerization of the azobenzene group was confirmed by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy. The temperature and field dependence of dc susceptibility and the temperature and the frequency dependence of ac susceptibility were measured for the cis and the trans isomer of 1. The magnetization value of the cis isomer in dc measurement is higher than that of the trans isomer. The cis isomer of 1 has a slower relaxation because cis-trans photoisomerization of the azobenzene group in peripheral ligands induces changes in its structure and dipole moment.

DCSP-GTAW에 의한 고력 Al합금의 고온균열감수성에 대한 연구 (Hot Cracking Susceptibility in Welds of High Strength Al Alloys by Using DCSP-GTAW)

  • The tendency and degree of hot cracking of high strength 5083, 6N01 and 7N01 Al alloy welds by using DCSP-GTAW through modified Varestraint test and autogenous butt welding were investigated. In hot cracking test, 6N01 alloy showed the highest susceptibility to hot cracking in the weld metal and HAZ. Cracking susceptibilities generally increased with increase of solidification temperature range of the base metal and bead penetration-to-width ratio of the weld metal. The cracks in welds of the alloys vertically formed to solid-liquid interface and propagated along with columnar grain boundaries. The fracture facets of cracks showed the typical morphology of solidification crack observed as dendritic structures. Especially, in 6N01 alloy, liquation cracks which were due to elements of Si, Fe and Mg also observed in HAZ near fusion boundary. In butt welding of different Al alloys, the bead crack was mainly occurred in the welds of 6N01, 7N01 and other Al alloys together with 6N01 or 7N01. In the butt welds of 7N01, it was found that the component of Cu had an effect on the higher susceptibility to the hot cracking.
