In this thesis, output voltage, current and power of solar module were classified by irradiation from data of overall operating characteristics collected for one year in order to manage efficient photovoltaic generation system and deliver maximum power. In addition, from these data, correlations between irradiation of photovoltaic cell and amount of power given by photovoltaic cell was quantitatively examined to deduce optimization of the design and construction of photovoltaic generation system. As I-V characteristics according to a temperature range of 10~50[$^{\circ}C$], the area of I-V characteristics were increased with an increase in temperature. Since this area corresponds to the power, output power is thought to have increased with temperature. As output power characteristics according to a temperature range of 10~50[$^{\circ}C$], output power was increased with an increase in temperature. Since output power increases with temperature increase, the result corresponds well to the related equation on temperature and output power. As I-V characteristics according to a irradiation range of 100~900 [$W/m^2$], voltage and current were increased with an increase in irradiation. The result is thought of as an increase in output power with increasing irradiation. As output power characteristics according to a irradiation range of 100~900 [$W/m^2$], output power was increased with increasing irradiation. This result corresponds well to the related equation on irradiation and output power.
The nanoindentation behavior of P92 steel with thermomechanical treatment under 3.5 MeV Fe13+ ion irradiation at room temperature, 400 and 700 ℃ was investigated. Pop-in behavior is observed for all the samples with and without irradiation at room temperature, while the temperature dependence of pop-in behavior is only observed in irradiated samples. The average load and penetration depth at the onset of pop-in increase as the irradiation temperature increases, in line with the results of the maximum shear stress. Irradiation induced hardening is exhibited for all irradiated samples, but there is a significant reduction in the hardness of sample irradiated at 700 ℃ in comparison to the samples irradiated at room temperature and 400 ℃. The ratio of hardness to elastic modulus for all samples decreases with increasing penetration depth except for samples at 700 ℃. With the increasing of irradiation temperature, the ratio of the irreversible work to the total work gradually decreases. In contrast, it increases for samples without irradiation.
PV module power is calculated on PV module surface temperature adjustment by irradiation on the summer and autumn in NOCT(Nominal Operating Cell Temperature) conditions. The summer and autumn periods were selected because of large variation in outdoor air temperature and irradiation. This study was performed to understand relationship between PV module surface temperature and photovoltaic power using field measurement. As a results, it was determined that the amount of irradiation was proportional to the amount of photovoltaic power in the field measurement. However, it was also identified that the PV power generation decreased by increased PV module surface temperatures due to irradiation.

Background: Pressure changes related to temperature variation during cupping may lead to dropout. This study aimed to investigate pressure changes related to temperature variations in the cup during the cupping procedure. Methods: Changes in temperature and pressure were measured for 15 minutes after the procedure was performed using the alcohol rub method with glass cups and with the addition of infrared irradiation. Changes in temperature and pressure were also measured for 15 minutes after pumping 3 times using the valve suction method, and with the addition of infrared irradiation. Results: In a comparison between the alcohol rub method with glass cups and with the addition of infrared irradiation, the negative pressure increased over time in the absence of infrared irradiation, whereas it decreased when performed with infrared irradiation p = 0.094. However, in a comparison between pumping 3 times using the valve suction method, and with the addition of infrared irradiation, the negative pressure decreased in both cases, but this was more significant with infrared irradiation p = 0.172. There was a significantly higher temperature in the glass cups (p = 0.004) and the valve cups (p = 0.001) exposed to infrared radiation, compared with no infrared irradiation. Conclusion: The reduction in negative pressure inside the cups exposed to infrared radiation was greater than without infrared irradiation. Temperature increases inside the cup can lead to the risk of dropout.
A new capsule that has a unique structure in which the test environments including neutron flux and fluence, and irradiation temperature can be controlled precisely during irradiation, was conceptually designed. The capsule structure and instrumentation were successfully designed according to the JMTR's standard procedures of capsule design. Based on the target irradiation, the details of the irradiation such as neutron fluence and irradiation temperature ore calculated and the related capsule safety was evaluated. In addition, the effects of design parameters including the changes in inner-capsule configuration, heater capacity, and Helium gas pressure on the specimen temperature were analyzed with a computer program. Through these thermal and strength evaluations, this capsule was proved to be safe during the irradiation in the JMTR.
The prediction of irradiation-induced transition temperature shift for RPV steels is an important method for long term operation of nuclear power plant. Based on the irradiation embrittlement data, an irradiation-induced transition temperature shift prediction model is developed with machine learning method XGBoost. Then the residual, standard deviation and predicted value vs. measured value analysis are conducted to analyze the accuracy of this model. At last, Cu content threshold and saturation values analysis, temperature dependence, Ni/Cu dependence and flux effect are given to verify the reliability. Those results show that the prediction model developed with XGBoost has high accuracy for predicting the irradiation embrittlement trend of RPV steel. The prediction results are consistent with the current understanding of RPV embrittlement mechanism.
This paper presents the results of investigating the change in welding residual stresses of the core shroud, which is one of subcomponents in reactor vessel internals, performing finite element analysis. First, the welding residual stresses of the core shroud were calculated by applying the heat conduction based lumped pass technique and finite element elastic-plastic stress analysis. Second, the temperature distribution of the core shroud during the normal operation was calculated by performing finite element temperature analysis considering gamma heating. Third, through the finite element viscoelastic-plastic stress analysis using the calculated temperature distribution and setting the calculated residual stresses as the initial stress state, the variation of the welding residual stresses was derived according to repeating the normal operation. In the viscoelastic-plastic stress analysis, the effects of neutron irradiation on mechanical properties during the cyclic normal operations were considered by using the previously developed user subroutines for the irradiation agings such as irradiation hardening/embrittlement, irradiation-induced creep, and void swelling. Finally, the effect of neutron irradiation on the welding residual stresses was analysed for each irradiation aging. As a result, it is found that as the normal operation is repeated, the welding residual stresses decrease and show insignificant magnitudes after the 10th refueling cycle. In addition, the irradiation-induced creep/void swelling has significant mitigation effect on the residual stresses whereas the irradiation hardening/embrittlement has no effect on those.
In this research, we studied the variation of the dielectric loss absorption of the dielectric loss absorption of the sample according with the change to $\^$60/Co-${\gamma}$-ray irradiation dose of the influence of temperature and applied voltage. In order to investigate the effect of irradiation oriented polypropylene film, we have observed dissipation factor within the temperature range of 30∼130 [$^{\circ}C$] and voltage range of 100∼250$^{\circ}C$ [V]. As for the dependency of temperature by dissipation factor, the ${\alpha}$-peak which appears at high temperature increases accordingly to the increasement of irradiation dose which is contributed by the crystal region and moves towards the high temperature. The ${\beta}$-peak which appears at low temperature is origined from dipoles and molecular motions in the amorphous region. As for the dependency of voltage by tan$\delta$, at low temperature the peak of the tan$\delta$, at low temperature the peak of the tan$\delta$ shifts accordingly to the increasement of irradiation dose towards the high temperature region.
We have investigated the effects of ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation condition and imidization temperature for the generation of pretilt angle in nematic liquid crystal (NLC) on the two kinds of the polyimide (PI) surfaces. High pretilt angle of NLC is generated with oblique p-polarized UV light irradiation of 30$^{\circ}$ on PI surface for 20 min. Also, the high pretilt angle of NLC is generated with oblique p-polarized UV light irradiation of 10-30$^{\circ}$ on PI surface at 20min. The pretilt angle of NLC decreases with increasing the imidization temperature on all rubbed PI surfaces ; the pretilt angle of NLC with oblique p-polarized UV light irradiation of 30$^{\circ}$on PI surface decreases with increasing the imidization temperature. The high pretilt angle of NLC is observed due to high photo-depolymerization reaction by low surface energy at low imidization temperature. We suggest that the pretilt angle of NLC is strongly attributed to the photo-depolymerization reaction with the UV light irradiation condition and imidization temperature.

The combined effects of irradiation and aging temperature on the microbial and chemical quality of beef loin were investigated. The samples were vacuum-packaged, irradiated at 0 or 2 kGy using electron-beam (EB), and stored for 10 d at different aging temperatures (2, 14, or 25℃). The microbial growth, shear values, meat color, and nucleotide-related flavor compounds of the samples were analyzed. The irradiation effect on inactivation of foodborne pathogens was also investigated. The population of Listeria monocytogenes and Escherhia coli O157:H7 inoculated in beef samples decreased in proportion to the irradiation dose. Irradiation reduced the total aerobic bacteria (TAB) over the storage, but higher aging temperature increased the TBA. Thus TAB increased sharply in non-irradiated and high temperature-aged (14, 25℃) beef samples after 5 d. With increasing aging temperature and aging time, shear force values decreased. Lipid oxidation could be reduced by short aging time at low aging temperature. The color a* values of the irradiated beef were lower than those of the non-irradiated throughout the aging period. As aging period and temperature increased, IMP decreased and hypoxanthine increased. Considering microbial and physicochemical properties, irradiation can be used for raw beef to be aged at relatively high temperature to shorten aging time and cost.
