Environmental conditions may cause the quality change of fruits during distribution after harvest. In order to prevent the damage or quality change of fruits for distribution, the characteristic of fruits affected by the environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity under various distribution conditions should be known. This research was performed to analyze how the environmental conditions affect the factors such as weight loss rate and ethylene production of the peach under several distribution conditions. Environmental conditions of the actual distributed route were evaluated and the data obtained from the conditions were used for the simulated environmental tests. Regression models of the weight loss rate and the ethylene production of peach were developed and used in predicting peach quality. The weight loss rate of the peach estimated by the ASHRAE data was shown the higher value on the transportation temperature condition than on the low and room temperature conditions. The weight loss rate and the ethylene production of the peach on the simulated distribution conditions were measured and the measured weight loss rate of peach was the smaller than the theoretically estimated one. The regression models of the weight loss rate and the ethylene production were developed respectively.
Objectives: This study was performed to examine bioaerosols in indoor air in public restrooms, as well as to assess the effects of air temperature and relative humidity on bioaerosol levels. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was performed in ten male and ten female restrooms. An air sampler (Anderson type) was used for sampling total suspended bacteria (TSB), Gram-negative bacteria (GNB), Gram-positive bacteria (GPB), opportunistic bacteria (OP), Staphylococcus spp., and total suspended fungi (TSF). Results: The levels of TSB were $10-10^2CFU/m^3$ and TSF $10-10^2CFU/m^3$, respectively. The GNB level was $0-10CFU/m^3$, and GPB and OP levels were $10-10^2CFU/m^3$. Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) were detected in 90% of the restrooms. The GPB level was higher in the female restrooms than in the male restrooms (p < 0.05). TSB, GNB, and TSF showed higher levels in restrooms in buildings over 30 years old (p < 0.01). The main effect of air temperature or relative humidity and interaction effect of the two factors on the TSB level were significant (p < 0.05), while the effect of relative humidity on the TSF level was significant (p < 0.001). Conclusions: These results indicate that there is a wide variation in the bioaerosol levels among different restrooms. The observed differences in bioaerosol levels reflect different building histories. The effects of air temperature and/or relative humidity reveal that bioaerosol levels may vary according to season or time of day. Future research is needed to further characterize the relation between the bioaerosol levels and surface contamination in restrooms.

Objectives: Scientific verification for health effects has been constantly demanded through the forest healing factors. In this study, phytoncide concentration which is one of the forest healing factors, was investigated according to stand density, season and visiting time, and analyzed correlation with micrometeorology factors. Methods: Total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) and Natural volatile organic compounds (NVOCs) were collected using a measuring instrument which is connected to an air pump with the Tenax TA tube. The 32NVOCs were selected through the detailed criteria of adequacy assessment for recreational forest. The statistical analysis (correlation and stepwise regression analysis) was conducted between phytoncide concentration and micrometeorology factors. Results: NVOCs concentration linearly increased according to stand density. The high level showed in the summer (p<0.05), and there is no significant difference according to visiting hours of the Healing forest. NVOCs is a negative correlation with solar radiation, PAR and wind direction, and a positive correlation with relative humidity and temperature (p<0.01). NVOCs increased following the increase of humidity and temperature ($R^2=0.55$). Conclusions: Phytoncide linearly increased according to stand density, and showed the correlation significantly with microclimate factors. In future, these results will be utilized as a basic material to promote the generation of phytoncide, which positively influences human health promotion and manage the forest welfare space.
Pleurotus eryngii(King oyster) is one of the most promising mushrooms produced on the domestic farms. The quality as well as quantity of Eryngii is sensitively affected by micro climate factors such as temperature, relative humidity, $CO_2$ concentration, and light intensity. To safely produce high-quality Eryngii all the year round, it is required that the environmental factors be carefully controlled by well designed structures equipped with various facilities and control systems. At the commercial mushroom cultivation house(A,B), this study was carried out to find out reasonable range of each environmental factor and yield together with economic and safe structures influencing on the optimal productivity of Eryngii. this experiment was conducted for about two-month from Nov. 11, 2002 to Dec. 30, 2002 in Eryngii. cultivation house-A, B. Ambient temperature during the experiment period was not predominantly different from that of a normal year. The capacity of the hot water boiler and the piping systems were not enough. Maximum air temperature difference between the upper and lower growth stage during a heating time zone was about 2~3$^{\circ}C$. The max. and min. relative humidity were ranged approximately 60~100%, and average relative humidity was ranged approximately 80~100%. And $CO_2$concentration increased until maximum 1,600~1,800 ppm with the passing growing period. The illuminance in cultivation house was widely distributed from 20lx to 160 lx in accordance with position, and it was maintained lower than the recommended illuminance range 100~200 lx. The average yield per bottle was about 67~85g. But the optimal productivity will be evaluated by considering the quality and quantity of mushroom production, energy requirements, facility construction and management cost, etc.

The IAQ management in subway cabin is very important for the enhancement of the amenity and health of passengers because the subway carries many passengers in a relatively short time mostly in urban area. However, since the ventilation of most subway cabins are performed by simple opening of doors at each stations, the IAQ management is not easy. In this study, we measured some IAQ factors (temperature, relative humidity, particulate matters, CO, and $CO_2$ concentration) of subway cabin in Seoul area. The results showed that the IAQ of the cabin was relatively acceptable. However, $CO_2$ concentrations were higher than 1,000 ppm in most cases. $CO_2$ concentration was mostly proportional to the number of passengers in cabin. Therefore, new method to relieve the $CO_2$ concentration is urgently required.

Weather indexes such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and air pressure have been studied for diverse life-related factors: Food poisoning, discomfort, and others. In that, the Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) has been released indexes such as 'Life industrial weather information', 'Safety weather information', and even 'picnic weather information' that shows how an weather like to enjoy picnic. Those weather-life effects also reveal on shopping preference such as an weather affects offline shopping purchase behaviors especially big-marts because they have outside leisure activity attribute However, since online shopping has not physical attribute, weather factors may not affect on same way to offline. Although previous researches have focused on psychological factors that have been utilized in marketing criteria, this research utilize KMA weather dataset that affects psychological factors. This research utilize 1,033 online survey for SEM analysis to clarify relationships between weather factors and online shopping purchase behaviors. As a result, online purchase intention is affected by temperature and humidity.

Armillaria root disease affects forests around the world. It occurs in many habitats and causes losses in the infested stands. Weather conditions are important factors for growth and development of Armillaria species. Yet, the relation between occurrence of damage caused by Armillaria disease and weather variables are still poorly understood. Thus, we used generalized linear mixed models to determine the relationship between weather conditions of current and previous year (temperature, precipitation and their deviation from long-term averages, air humidity and soil temperature) and the incidence of Armillaria-induced damage in young (up to 20 years old) and older (over 20 years old) coniferous stands in selected forest districts across Poland. We used unique data, gathered over the course of 23 years (1987-2009) on tree damage incidence from Armillaria root disease and meteorological parameters from the 24-year period (1986-2009) to reflect the dynamics of damage occurrence and weather conditions. Weather parameters were better predictors of damage caused by Armillaria disease in younger stands than in older ones. The strongest predictor was soil temperature, especially that of the previous year growing season and the current year spring. We found that temperature and precipitation of different seasons in previous year had more pronounced effect on the young stand area affected by Armillaria. Each stand's age class was characterized by a different set of meteorological parameters that explained the area of disease occurrence. Moreover, forest district was included in all models and thus, was an important variable in explaining the stand area affected by Armillaria.

.It is very importaut to know the water consumption of crops in planning irrigation works and practicing suitable soil moisture management. For the purpose of making it clear that how much water be consumed to cultivate the Chinese cabbage, Chamber method has been applied. Main equipments in the transpiration chamber are flowers, manometer and electric thermograph. The chamber made of vynyl plate has a small entrance at the base and an exit at the top, and the ventilation in the chamber was carried out by a flower through the entrance and exit. Air-flow adjusted by an orifice manometer enters the chamber from the outside over the crop canopy through the pipe like a chimney and finally goes out to the outside. Two sets which consist of a pair of dry and wet bulb made by thermistor are installed in the entrance and exit tube, and record air temperature automatically. Evapotranspiration amount is computed from the air-flow quantity and difference in absolute humidity between at the entrance and exit of the chamber by the following equation: ET=(X2-X1)${\times}$Q where ET=evapotranspiration amount X1=absolute humidity at the entrance(g/㎥) X2=absolute humidity at the exit(g/㎥) Q=air-flow quantity(㎥) This study was carried out at the upland farm of the Institute of Agriculture Engimeering and Utilization, Suwon, Korea. from 1971 to 1973. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows: 1. The total amount of evapotranspiration of Chinese Cabbage that is cultivated in autumn is 408.1mm during growth period. 2. Chinese cabbage rapidly grows up in the second ten days of September, 40th to 50th days after seeding. At the same time, the maximum amount of evaportranspiration of Chinese cabbage is 61.6mm/10 days 3. The correlation between Pan-evaporation and evapotranspiration is high, coefficient of correlation r=0.88**, and can be shown as The following regression equation: ET=0.913E+20.273 4. Evapotranspiration is closely related with meteorological factors: r=0.85**, for insolation, r=0.76** for air temperature, respectively. 5. The percentage of evapotranspiration amount, at the beginning of growth stage, gradually increases in proportion as the Chinese Cabbage grows but is largely affected by meteorological factors after the green cover formation. 6. By Blaney and Griddle formula, evaportranspiration coefficient "K" are within from 0,85 to 1.27.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine airborne bioaerosols such as bacteria and fungi in the kitchens of restaurants, and to assess the effects of thermal factors on the levels of the bioaerosols. Methods: Air samples were taken from kitchens of nine restaurants. An Anderson type air sampler was used for sampling and measurements. Petri dishes filled with a microbiological culture medium (trypticase soy agar for bacteria and Sabouraud dextrose agar for fungi) were used as the sampling surface. Results: The levels of bacterial aerosol measured were $10-10^3CFU/m^3$ and fungal aerosol $10-10^2CFU/m^3$, respectively The mean values of air temperature and relative humidity in the kitchens were $24.6^{\circ}C$ and 46.4%, respectively. Overall, the levels of bacterial aerosol varied by the restaurant type, and fungal aerosol by the business period (p < 0.05). The main effect of air temperature and interaction effect of air temperature and relative humidity onto the bacterial level were significant (p < 0.05), whereas the effects were not significant onto the fungal level. Conclusions: The results indicate a wide variation in the levels of bioaerosols among different kitchens. The observed differences in bioaerosol levels in the kitchens reflect different periods of use. The interactions of air temperature and relative humidity onto the bacterial level suggest that constant attention should be paid to avoid peaks of contamination during the summer season.
