일정한 패턴의 디지탈·코오드가 검출될 때 마다 "1"이 송출된것으로 하는 디지탈 데이타 통신을 종래 2,400bit/sec.에 한정되었던 유선전화 케이블에 적용하여 속도를 향상시켰다. 코오드늘 "1"의 연속클라스타를 사용하여 수신단에 홰이스·록크드·루우프를 두어 그 여파부분의 시정수를 키워 PLL 고유의 잡음불감특성을 활용함으로서 에라율이 적으면서도 20kbit/sec.의 속도를 얻을 수 있었다.

Internet telephony provides voice communication services with added flexibility for multimedia extension at a lower cost compared to traditional telephone systems. We implemented an internet telephony system as an overlay network without a centralized server, using a distributed hash table (DHT). Compared to the current server-based internet telephony system, our system is fault-tolerant, scalable, and can be flexible extended to various services and advanced to integrated service. To demonstrate the high flexibility of our DHT-based internet telephony system, we made our system cooperate with web servers. Web users can check up others' online stales and establish voice communication sessions to online users at a mouse click. This technology can be applied to more complex services such as multimedia messaging or video conference service.

A telephone survey was conducted in a metropolitan city in 2012 to examine people's credibility ratings of different media outlets, in particular, Weibo - one of the most popular social media platforms in China. Our findings suggest: First, people place more trust in traditional news media than in online sources by a significant margin. Second, demographic influences on media trust seem to be minimal. Only age and gender were related to some credibility measures. Third, Weibo use was not related to one's credibility perception toward traditional media but interestingly, Weibo use showed different impacts on people's evaluation of Weibo's credibility. Commenting frequency was negatively related to one's trust in Weibo, while retweeting frequency was positively related to one's trust in Weibo.

우리 나라에서는 공중통신망에 접속되는 단말장치에 대하여 통신망 안전을 위한 기술기준을 정하여, 유통되는 장치들은 이 기술기준을 만족하게 하는 형식승인제도를 운용하고 있다. 최근의 초고속 정보통신망의 활발한 이용과 더불어 기존의 기술기준을 보완하는 작업이 이루어지고 있으며, 이 논문에서는 대표적인 안건으로써 ADSL 모뎀과 전력선통신용 전송장치에 관한 기술기준의 제정 방안에 관하여 논의하였다.

This paper examines whether there exists discrimination of the information usage pattern between tenants of permanent and temporary public rental housing in Korea. Moreover, we focus to examine on that matters between two groups, $7{\sim}12$ pyeongs and $11{\sim}24$ pyeongs that indicate permanent and temporary public rental housing respectively. The results derived in this paper can be summarized as follows: there exists statistical significance in using computer, internet, communication and broadcasting, on the other hand, insignificance in using satellite communication and telephone between them. The implication of this results shows that as widen income gap, also widen gaps in using computer and internet between them. Thus government public rental housing policy should focus to make narrow income gap to diminish information gap between those groups.

This study examines the recognition of the user's sound command based on speech recognition and natural language processing, and develops the natural language interface agent which can analyze the recognized command. The natural language interface agent consists of speech recognizer and semantic interpreter. Speech recognizer understands speech command and transforms the command into character strings. Semantic interpreter analyzes the character strings and creates the commands and questions to be transferred into the application program. We also consider the problems, related to the speech recognizer and the semantic interpreter, such as the ambiguity of natural language and the ambiguity and the errors from speech recognizer. This kind of natural language interface agent can be applied to the telephony environment involving all kind of communication media such as telephone, fax, e-mail, and so on.

In this paper, we developed the Realtime Ship Position Information System and the software in relation to the system, which consists of the on-board system and the shore-based system. The on-board system is composed a GPS receiver, a computer, and a modem. The shore-based system is composed of a telephone, a modem and a computer. Both systems are operated by the data communication program The system displays automatically the ship's movement on the digital chart by using the ship's position acquired by a GPS receiver via INMARSAT-A communication system. The results presented in many experiments indicate that the system in processing the position data well during the transmission and reception.

The aim of this study was to compare the American, Chinese, and Japanese consumers' usage behavior of marketing communication towards overseas Korean restaurants. The survey included both on and off-line method and self-administered questionnaires were written in three languages- English, Chinese and Japanese. The sample was collected from 5 hub cities for globalization of Korean food- LA, New York, Tokyo, Beijing, and Shanghai. The most important factor of searching for Korean restaurants-related information was 'the interaction' and the least one was 'the diversity'. The most commonly informed Korean restaurants-related content through the on and off-line media was 'the general information, such as location, telephone number, and operation hour'. Korean restaurants-related content that the respondents' most interested in was 'the information of menu and price'. Results of this study can expectedly be used from a practical point of view by providing empirical data of foreign consumers for effective marketing communication strategies of overseas Korean restaurants.

인터넷 프로토콜(IP)을 기반으로 음성, 오디오, 비디오 및 데이터 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 통신을 제공 할 수 있는 서비스 플랫폼이 IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem)이다. 기업에서는 기존 통신환경을 최대한 유지하면서 최소의 비용으로 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위해 꼭 필요한 IMS 융합 서비스만 도입하는 것이 효과적이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 직원이 1,000명 이하의 기업이 IMS 솔루션을 효과적으로 구축하기 위한 방안으로 IMS 코어 메인 시스템을 개발 하였다. 본 시스템은 IMS 서비스와 연동하여 IMS단말과 CSCF(Call Session Control Function) 중간에 위치하고, IMS단말에 대응해서는 CSCF 역할을, CSCF에 대응해서는 IMS 단말의 기능을 제공하게 된다. 또한 유선전화, SIP폰 등 기존에 기업에서 사용하던 단말기들은 게이트웨이를 이용하여 연동하게 된다.

이동 통신 사용자가 늘어나면서 무선 이동단말기와 기지국간의 통신품질 향상을 위한 기술 개발이 더욱 더 필요하다. 기지국 간섭의 최소화, 네트워크 접속 성공률, 이동통신 회사간의 네트워크 호환성 등이 통신 서비스의 품질을 판단하는 중요한 기준이 된다. 그 중에서도 단말기와 기지국간의 발신/착신에 대한 네트워크 연결 성공률이 아주 중요하다. 본 논문에는 무선 이동단말기와 가상 기지국간에 발신상황을 측정하고 분석하여 단말기의 통신 신뢰성을 진단할 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다 이 시스템을 활용하면 보다 손쉽게 단말기의 통신 상태를 진단할 수 있어 단말기의 통신 성능 테스팅에 많은 도움을 줄 수가 있다.
