PREPARATION OF HYDROXYAPATITE COATINGS USING R.F. MAGNETRON SPUTTERING

  • The well-crystalline hydroxyapatite($Ca_{10}(PO_4)_6(OH)_2$ ; HAp) layer having a biocompatibility was successfully coated onto titanium substrate using a radio-frequency magnetron sputtering, and effects of sputtering gas and the thickness of HAp film on a crystal growth of the HAp layers were investigated. The deposition rate of the layer sputtered with water-vapour gas was slower than that of the layer sputtered with argon gas. The results of X-ray diffraction demonstrated that the about $0.8\mu\textrm{m}$ thick HAp film under water-vapour gas was an amorphous phase, the about $1.2\mu\textrm{m}$ thick film was (100) plane-oriented HAp, and the about $1.5\mu\textrm{m}$ thick film was (001)plane-oriented HAp. FT-IR analysis proved that hydroxyl group of the layer sputtered with argon gas was defected, but that of the layer sputtered with water-vapour gas was not defected. From these results, it was favorable to use water-vapour gas on the HAp coatings onto metal surface.

  • Conventional nutrition services involve producer-oriented approaches without considering the differences in the characteristics and circumstances of each individual, whereas personalized nutrition services are consumer-oriented concepts that provide products and services for maintaining optimal health conditions based on the genetic, physiological, and metabolic characteristics of individuals, with these products based on balanced nutrition and healthy living. Currently, methods for evaluating dietary habits, monitoring dietary behaviors, deep phenotyping, and metabotyping via microbiota profiling, as well as methods for predicting big data by using machine learning, have been previously studied in Korea and abroad. With the development of medical technology and the improvement of hygiene, the demand for personalized nutrition and health services for healthier, happier, and more satisfying lives is rapidly increasing. Therefore, based on scientific technologies, attempts are needed to advance these services into global personalized markets and to boost the global competitiveness of countries and companies.

Study of Coverage Implementation Using Lenticular Sticker (렌티큘러 스티커를 이용한 커버리지 구현 연구)

  • Recently, the development of indoor positioning technology, base station positioning, Wi - Fi positioning, and Bluetooth beacon positioning technology have been introduced in buildings and underground space. This paper introduces a technique that enables user-oriented ultra-high precision positioning by adopting a lenticular positioning technology, which is a method in which a user directly locates a user's moving line based on a provider-oriented positioning system and service. Through the study on the implementation of coverage using lenticular stickers, we will discuss how to implement coverage of lenticular stickers, which is one of the most important parts of lenticular positioning technology.

Rapidly Solidified Fe-6.5wt% Si Alloy Powders for High Frequency Use

  • Fe-(3∼6.5wt%) Si alloy powders having a high magnetic induction(Bs) and a low core loss value for high frequency use were obtained by an extractive melt spinning as well as a centrifugal atomization technique. Sintered core rings made by the rapidly solidified Fe-6.5wt% Si powders exhibited the high frequency magnetic properties : megnetic induction(B8) of 1.23 T, coercivity(Hc) of 0.12 Oe, relative permeability(${\mu}$a) of 6321, and core loss(W10/50) of 1.27 W/kg from the rings of 1.1 mm thick. The magnetic induction values were found to be almost identical to those of non-oriented Fe-6.5wt% Si steel sheet and double the value of 6.5wt% Si sheet prepared by the CVD technique. The high frequency core losses(W) up to 10 kHz(W10/10k) were measured to be competitive to those of grain-oriented Fe-6.5wt% Si steel sheet.

  • In order to understand the influence of the modification of deformation texture on the formation of annealing texture, the evolution of texture during the clock rolling and the subsequent annealing was investigated by employing X-ray texture measurements and microstructure observation. The $\beta$-fiber orientations were proved to be quite unstable during the clock rolling. The clock rolled texture having uniform orientation densities along $\{011\}//ND$ fiber resulted in the randomization of annealing texture. This indicated that the operation of both the oriented nucleation and the oriented growth was effectively suppressed in the clock-rolled specimen during recrystallization.

  • We demonstrate the improvement of sensitivity and analysis of operating characteristics of the piezoelectric pressure sensor using ZnO piezoelectric thin film and FET(field effect transistor) for sensing applied pressure and transforming the pressure into electrical signals, respectively. The sensitivity of the PSFET(pressure sensitive field effect transistor) was improved by using highly-oriented ZnO film perpendicular to the substrate surface and the operating characteristics was investigated by monitoring output voltage with time in various static pressure levels.

  • Recently, many enterprises have attempted to capitalize knowledge assets on data warehouse (DW). It has been recognized as strategic core process to create corporate competitive advantage and implement enterprise e-biz strategies. However, most approaches to represent knowledge and decision process have limits in considering various knowledge types, their relationships and continuity in knowledge formulation. In addition, they are so inclined to one side such as concept-oriented frameworks or technology-oriented ones. They lack universal and wide-ranging features. This paper presents a comprehensive methodology to accumulate knowledge capital on DW via a properly grained hypermedia model. The methodology consists of three phases: knowledge requirement elicitation, hypermedia modeling, and system implementation. A real-life case for medical DW development is presented to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed methodology. This methodology is effective when an organization accumulates knowledge assets to put the corporate e-biz or cre-biz strategy into practice.

  • 3PL is the alternative for the corporation seeking to increase its logistics efficiency and effective implement of organization development. This study is to establish effective management method of the logistics companies and suggest further research direction by looking through theoretical background, applications, organization knowledge, international and domestic condition and problems of the 3PL which concludes to policy making. This study suggests corporation’s policy on technology oriented, management participation and knowledge on organization is used to secure competitive edge on logistics service. Close cooperation between departments is needed to acquire technology oriented information from 3PL human resource pool.

  • The Gun-Oreinted Anti-Air Warfare(GOAAW) which is still one of the important weapon systems of the vessel like the patrol killer to confront air threats comprises the components of the combat system - Command & Control(C2), Ballistic Calculation Unit, Sensors and Guns. In this paper, the GOAAW process of the patrol killer combat system is analyzed with probability and simulated to evaluate the effectiveness and capability of the GOAAW. As a result of the simulation, the performance measures of the GOAAW are discussed in the functional and operational aspects of the combat system.

  • 망 운용에 있어서 망 관리 시스템은 다양한 네트워크 장비의 증가로 인하여 점점 더 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 과거 망을 구성하는 요소는 네트워크 장비로 국한되었지만 현재는 서비스를 지원하는 데몬(Daemon) 등 장비 외적인 요소까지 속하게 되어 더욱 복잡해 지고 있다. 기존의 망 관리 시스템은 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)나ICMP(Internet Control Message Protocol) 프로토콜을 사용하였으나 이 기술만으로는 데몬과 같은 장비 외적인 요소들까지 제어, 관리하지 못했다. 반면. TELNET등과 같은 기능을 추가적으로 이용할 수 있다면. 보다 쉽게 망 정보를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있어 기존의 망 관리 시스템에서 지원하지 못했던 기능의 한계점을 극복할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 객체지향기술(OOT : Object­Oriented Technology)을 도입하였다. 클래스(Class)는 고유한 특성을 가지는 관리 대상 종류를 선언한 것이고. 관리 대상은 네트워크 장비 뿐만 아니라 데몬이나 지역, 부서등과 같은 추상적인 대상이 포함되며 이는 객체(Object)를 의미한다. 또한. 상속(Inheritance) 개념을 도입하여 중복요소를 없앴으며, 클래스의 메소드(Method)에 관리 대상을 처리할 수 있는 기능을 정의하였다. 기능 정의에는 SNMP와 TELNET. ICMP등을 내부적으로 이용하여 구현된 스크립트(Script)를 이용하였다.
