In recent years, the view centered conservation for eco-system is getting important rather than development from human oriented perspective. As a result, the concept "Sustainable development", that is seeking harmony between conservation and development, appeared so that we researched distribution and status of vascular plants a site of project in the Bukkyungnam substation. The main findings from the study is as follows. The vascular plants a site of project in the Bukkyungnam substation area was listed 435 taxa; 93 families, 269 genera, 377 species, 1 subspecies, 51 varieties and 6 forms. Specific plant species by floral region were total 25 taxa; Acer palmatum (Planted species), Asperula lasiantha in Class III, Caryopteris incana, Cirsium schantarense in Class II, 21 taxa (Dryopteris erythrosora, Chloranthus japonicus, Salix glandulosa, Alnus hirsuta, Quercus variabilis, Ulmus parvifolia, Clematis patens, Rubus hirsutus, Euphorbia pekinensis, Cayratia japonica, Grewia biloba var. parviflora, Vaccinium oldhami, Microstegium japonicum, Hosta capitata, Polygonatum falcatum, etc.) in Class I. Based on the list of Korean endemic plants, 10 taxa were recorded; Cephalotaxus koreana, Populus tomentiglandulosa (Planted species), Indigofera koreana, Forsythia koreana (Planted species), Paulownia coreana (Planted species), Asperula lasiantha, Weigela subsessilis, Adenophora triphylla var. hirsuta, Carex okamotoi, Lilium amabile and based on the list of the rare plants by the Forest ResearchInstitute, 2 taxa were recorded in the studied areas; Lilium callosum (Preservation priority order; No. 191), Aristolochia contorta (No. 151). The naturalized plants in this site were 13 families, 22 genera, 28 taxa and naturalization rate was 6.4% of all 435 taxa vascular plants.

As the pluralistic value in which various cultures and trends exist develops the world at large, development of interior design is required to examine consumers by group. This requirement purports to set up a strategic model of operating interior design organizations under cross-cultural (past and present) enviroment, not to express new researches of interior design following the direction of the developed media service. Based on the educational and complex cultural approach to design matters - the key issue in solving the cross-cultural design matters, this paper has suggested the structure of semi-centralized design process and the system for finding out consumers' trends under the new media-based cultural design environment. This study presents some expected effects. First, it will be able to enhance the consumer-oriented design mind by providing the information on the interior design system and design trend. Through analyzing the lifestyle in the 21st century and providing the relevant information, it will lead irrlprovement in living environment. And further, by using the program of searching consumers' new preference, the system of grasping consumers' propensity and making decisions will be materialized. Secondly, based on the background database of forecasted consumers' trends, marketing strategies can be established. Thirdly, through the better technology of designing living environment, efficiency will be increased and the economic foundations through use of new database will be constructed. Fourth, systematic interior design can be developed. Strategic correspondence to consumers' desires and reinforcement of competitiveness will become possible with development of database. By encouraging consumers' participation under digital environment, their trends can be forecasted, and by efficiently using information and new technology, resources can be saved and further, additional costs for promotion and sales will be reduced.

As a result of remarkable developments in multimedia technology, the image database system that can efficiently retrieve image data becomes a core technology of information-oriented society. In this paper, we proposed the 2-phase Image Retrieval System considering both color and shape information as the method of image features extraction for content-based image data retrieval. At the first level, to get color information, with improving and extending the indexing method using color distribution characteristic suggested by Striker et al., i.e. the indexing method considering local color distribution characteristics, the system roughly classifies images through the improved method. At the second level, the system finally retrieves the most similar image from the image queried by the user using the shape information about the image groups classified at the first level. To extract the shape information, we use the Improved Moment Invariants (IMI) that manipulates only the pixels on the edges of objects in order to overcome two main problems of the existing Moment Invariant methods large amount of processing and rotation sensitiveness which can frequently be seen in the Directive Histogram Intersection technique suggested by Jain et al. Experiments have been conducted on 300 automobile images. And we could obtain the more improved results through the comparative test with other methods.

e-Health system is the use of information and communication technologies to provide health care information and services to stakeholders. It pursues an improvement of service quality of health care, increases of accessability of information, reduction of medical cos and enforcement of competitiveness in health care industry. There are lots of difficulties in implication of internet technology to health care process. This is because that the characteristics of health care industry is very closed and specific and also the internet technology has the very user-oriented characters. So it is necessary to have the system independent conceptual design method to combine these two characteristics. In this paper a new modified conceptual design methodology will be proposed for the successful implementation of e-health system in korean health care industry. The proposed methodology will be verified its validity and feasibility through AHP method. And the results of this research will be implied as the basis for the development and revitalization of e-Health system in Korea.

In this paper, a study on the future-oriented actuator introduces the future technology and future direction in aerospace and several industry fields. In particular, the mechanical linkage or hydraulic and pneumatic actuators which have the higher output-to-weight ratio have been used a lot in the past as the aircraft's flight control device. Most recently, Fly-By-Wire system has been used in aircraft and the flight control system has been changed in more electric and all electric systems. Electrohydraulic actuators and electric actuators have been developed continually, because they have better efficiency, safety and lower cost for the flight control system of aircraft. Also, to improve the weight condition, accuracy and response of actuator, new field actuators using new materials have been developed. In this paper we clearly proposed the actuator design and detailed technology development trend for next generation actuation system in aerospace and new field.

The research question of this work comes from that there have been disputes for the governance and roles of the Rural Development Agency (RDA), despite of rather excellence performances of Agricultural R&D program supported by RDA. For this reason, I meta-evaluated the internal evaluation system of Agricultural R&D program in RDA, in terms of the four meta-evaluation components such as evaluation paradigm, evaluation resources, evaluation execution and evaluation utilization. The result shows that the most serious problem is rather lower level of evaluation. Object, one of the evaluation paradigms in the R&D evaluation system of the RDA. So, this work suggested the policy alternatives which may lead the R&D evaluation system of the RDA to be developed for the performance-oriented R&D management system.

Semantic web ontologies can be viewed as logic-based domain-oriented contents which allow distributed and heterogeneous information to be semantically integrated, automatically circulated, and enable implicit knowledge to be reasoned. This paper describes the 'Science and Technology Research Area' ontology which is being developed by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). This ontology was defined to assist actual researchers and project planners to grasp the researchers community from a variety of viewpoints. We describe classes and properties as ontology components and exemplify the representation of real instances in the ontology. In order to represent the identities of real world instances within the ontology, the above ontology employs both class-dependent URI assignment schemes and the identity resolution methods.

In this paper, we describe about interactive electronic book utilizing tabletop display interface and digi-pet. Because of this system can define a lot of gestures using touch point of finger, help that user experiences electronic book effectively more than existent input device. Also, support 1 users in 1 input device in existent mode, but this system can expect various effect because support Multi-user. The digi-pet(digital pet) is physical tools that convey emotion between tabletop display platform and user. And this shows various results acting as assistance because becomes master of story of imagination and participate directly on talk and makes change of story. In this paper, we described about oriented electronic book system the future that combines tabletop display and Digi-pet. This system is expected that the usefulness is increased by leaps and bounds along with technology development forward.

The average lifespan of humans is expected to rise to 100 years, not 80 years, as a result of the advances in medical technology, and soon the age of 100 era is expected to open. The fourth industrial revolution, which is the core of the convergence, is emerging as a major issue in the modern society. Therefore, the importance of services along with medical technologies is increasing. Accordingly, medical tourism, a combination of medical technology and tourism, is emerging as a promising industry, and countries around the world classify the medical tourism industry as one of the core strategic industries and nurture it actively. In accordance with this, contents and marketing that can impress a user with a management strategy are developed and provided, but the management system maintains the existing ones, which is a limitation. Therefore, there is a need for an efficient medical tourism management system along with a user-oriented system such as marketing and contents.

The need for integration of knowledge and technology among SMEs has been acknowledged, and lacks ways of convergence in practical education. Therefore contents of convergence in practical education of high quality are needed. In this study, a case-oriented curriculum and contents were developed to enhance employee's skills of SMEs. The curriculum consists of 3 steps. The first step is analysis of trends and current status of convergence of SMEs in the domestic and foreign areas. Thus drawing up measures of standards to analyze a successful case. The second step is collection of materials, and development of models through successful cases of convergence. The third step is the analysis of a curriculum to enhance employees' of SMEs and the development of an education program. This study may lead to strengthening competition of SMEs through knowledge and technology convergence based on developed curriculum.
