  • This paper examines the critical role of customers' perceived service justice in relationship hotel marketing and service. Three types of service justice, distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice are proposed to affect both customer satisfaction and trust, and customer service satisfaction is likely to take effects on relationship quality variables, trust and commitment. Empirical results, based on data from 250 customers of two membership discount deluxe hotel in Seoul, showed satisfactory data-fitness to the proposed model and supported seven research hypotheses. Interactional justice was found to have significant relationship with both trust and customer satisfaction, while distributive justice had significant relationship with trust and procedural justice with customer satisfaction. Also, the customer satisfaction had strong relationship with core variables of relationship quality (trust and commitment) and the trust variable was found to be a powerful antecedent leading to customer's commitment to service organization.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore how consumer traits(technology anxiety and need for interaction) explain attitude toward self-service technologies in fashion retail stores. We examined if technology anxiety influences perceived productivity and attitude toward self-service technologies, and if so, how the need for interaction with employees moderates the impact of technology anxiety on perceived productivity and attitude. For the purpose of the study, a web-based survey with Korean consumers was conducted. The final sample size was 214. Structural Equation Modeling Analysis and PROCESS in SPSS were employed to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicated that technology anxiety negatively affected perceived productivity and attitude toward self-service technologies in which perceived productivity affected attitude positively. Need for interaction with employees was found to moderate the relationship between technology anxiety and perceived productivity. It also moderated the relationship between technology anxiety and attitude. This study contributes to the self-service technology literature by identifying two antecedents of consumer attitude toward self-service technologies: technology anxiety and the need for interaction. The findings further provide valuable insights to retailers and marketers as to how technology anxiety, perceived productivity, and the need for interaction work in enhancing consumer attitude toward self-service technologies in the context of fashion retail.

  • As mobile distribution environment is changing rapidly and competition is more intensive in businesses today, technology based self service have been changed and developed. Among the change, financial institutes and consumers are interested in mobile banking services. This study attempted to investigate the impact of service convenience value on customer satisfaction and re-usage intention, and investigated the moderate effect of technology anxiety in the relationship between service convenience value and mobile banking service usage. For this study, data were gathered from respondents who have experience using mobile banking service and analyzed by structural equation model. A convenience value affected consumer satisfaction and re-usage intention toward mobile banking service. Also, this study found that the more technology anxiety, the less re-usage intention. The results show that management and investment to improve convenience value and to reduce technology anxiety make consumers' satisfaction and re-usage intention toward mobile banking service.

  • This study aims to investigate the impact of pre-service early childhood teachers' civic awareness and multicultural beliefs on their ability to teach democratic citizenship education and to verify the mediating effect of multicultural beliefs in the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education. The subjects of the study were 226 pre-service early childhood teachers, and a survey was conducted. As a result of the study, first, the civic awareness of pre-service early childhood teachers influenced the ability to teach democratic citizenship education, and the influence of the sub-variables of civic awareness was in the order of rights awareness, responsibility, community awareness, and rational decision-making awareness. Second, the multicultural beliefs of pre-service early childhood teachers also affected the ability to teach democratic citizenship education, and multicultural understanding had the strongest influence among the sub-variables of multicultural beliefs. Thirdly, we found that multicultural beliefs partially mediated the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education. Additionally, the results highlight the importance of educational interventions targeting multicultural beliefs, as they partially mediate the relationship between civic awareness and the ability to teach democratic citizenship education.

  • Purpose: The first purpose of this study is deriving in-store characteristics that affect the experience of customers using unmanned stores and reveals the value of major services that customers feel and experience. Also, an empirical analysis is conducted on the effect of intelligent consumption value after using unmanned stores on consumption emotions and continuous use intention, and the modulating effect of customers' untact tendency on environmental characteristics and the value of intelligent services is verified. Research design, data and methodology: Samples were taken from 186 people who visited the unmanned store from April to June 2022 to investigate the research model. Results: It was found that the environmental characteristics of unmanned stores had a positive effect on the intelligent service value. Also, the higher the value of intelligent service, the stronger the influence on consumption emotions, and the higher the value of the intelligence service and consumption emotions, the stronger the impact on the intention to use intention. The untact propensity played a role in controlling the relationship between ease of using technology and the intelligent service value and the relationship between spatial arrangement and functionality and intelligent service value. Conclusion: In order to improve unmanned store service in the trend of spreading unmanned stores, it is necessary to not only improve the technology using convenience in terms of store environmental characteristics but also create innovative consumption experiences in terms of space layout, function, and convenience of payment.

  • Changing social conditions have resulted in a situation where elderly patients are no longer cared for by family and where medical care hospitals play a more prominent role. In this study, the unique elements of the medical service required from a long term care hospital were identified using conventional and exploratory analysis, and the causal relationship between medical service quality, relationship quality, and Revist intent was confirmed. The intermediary role and the quantitative importance of relationship quality (including trust and commitment) were also characterized. This study identifies the key points and indicators that the administrators of a long term care hospital can use to effectively plan their medical service offering in order to secure the commitment of customers through relationship quality. The theoretical indications of this study are set out below. First, four factors are selected as being the key elements determining service quality: medics, administrative service, healthcare environment, and subsidiary facilities. Second, it seems that medics, administration service, and the healthcare environment have some effect on the evaluations made in relation to trust and satisfaction (subsidiary facilities are not considered to be a key element). Third, patient satisfaction has a positive impact on trust and commitment and can be regarded as a key element for establishing connections. Fourth, commitment is likely to be strengthened when trust is significant. Fifth, as trust and commitment increase, revist intent strengthens. Lastly, this study illustrates how the levels of trust and commitment play a modulating role between patient satisfaction and revist intention. There are many practical indications from the findings of this study. First, the influences of medics, the administrative service, and the healthcare environment on trust and satisfaction vary. Especially, the healthcare environment is likely to be more important than medics. Accordingly, it is essential to establish an elderly-friendly environment, to improve a hospital's structure, and to maintain a clean environment. Second, medics must show compassion to their patients and be patient when providing explanations to elderly patients who often lack powers of concentration. Third, in order to establish patient trust, it is essential that medics provide an excellent medical service. Ultimately, these elements of relationship quality may strengthen the revist intention of elderly patients.

  • This study verified the research hypothesis by establishing a research model to achieve the purpose of empirical analysis on the relationship between O2O platform quality and personal behavioral value and relationship quality. The main results of this study are as follows. First, information quality (hypothesis 1-1), system quality (hypothesis 1-2), service quality (hypothesis 1-3), perceived product quality (hypothesis 1-4), perceived price (Hypothesis 1-5) was statistically significant, indicating a positive effect on individual behavioral value. Second, as a result of empirical analysis of the relationship between O2O platform quality and relationship quality, hypothesis 2, information quality (hypothesis 2-1), perceived product quality (hypothesis 2-4), and perceived price (hypothesis 2-5) While there was a positive effect on quality, system quality (hypothesis 2-2) and service quality (hypothesis 2-3) were not statistically significant. Third, as a result of verifying the relationship between the relationship quality and personal behavior characteristics of hypothesis 3, as the quality of personal behavior improved as the quality of relationship improved, it was required to continuously improve and strengthen the relationship quality.
