The economic spillover effect from technology self-reliance of NSSS(nuclear steam supply system) by Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute was evaluated. Both production spillover effect and value added spillover effect were estimated by using Input-Output table. The production spillover effect from technology self-reliance of NSSS was estimated as 135 trillion Won during 1986-2015, while the value added spillover effect was 69 trillion Won during the same period. Besides, it was found that the technology self-reliance made great contribution to unquantifiable economic benefits such as enhancement of overall nuclear technology level, improvement of the role in international nuclear society, and improved potential to nuclear technology export.

The objective of this paper is to examine the structure of technology spillover from UAV(unmanned air vehicle) technology to other industries by applying patents analysis. The network analysis on patent data of USPTO(United Stated Patents and Trademark Office) from 1981 to 2000 was adopted to investigate the characteristic change of the technology spillover The results show that the influence of the UAV technology to other industries has grown over the twenty years period. For the weapon system development, this study provides a research basis to estimate the technology spillover effects on industries. Searching a structural niche from the inter-industrial knowledge flow structure might be a useful technique to find core technologies which generate large technology spillover on the other industries.

Using patent and firm-level panel data for 1982-2001, this study investigates spillover effects of patents and the strengthening of intellectual property rights on Productivity and Innovation. As well as we consider the effect of intra-industry spillovers, we extend the effect to inter-industry spillovers which implies the effects of IT industries on non-IT industries. The empirical results are summarized as follows. First, allowing for firm-level variables, market competition and technological spillovers, the strengthening of intellectual property rights does not play a significant role on innovative activities. Second, while innovative activities of domestic firms affect significantly firms' innovative activities, those of foreign firms do not. Third, innovative activities of IT industries as inter-industry spillovers play a significant role on innovative activities and labor productivities of domestic firms.

This study investigates the determinants of output of a manufacturing firm's innovative activity (the number of patent applications) and spillover effects using a count data model. This paper attempted a negative binomial distribution In order to take into account unobserved heterogeneity. The results of our study suggested that Firm size, R&D intensity, technical network activity, and online business performance have significantly positive effects in the Korean manufacturing industry. Moreover, there are significantly positive spillover effects in the same industry sector.

본 연구에서는 기업의 연구개발 의사결정을 위한 정보 도출을 위한 연구방법론을 설정하고, 한국가스공사의 연구개발 부문을 대상으로 기술 그룹별 연구개발 니드, 기술 파급도, 기술스톡을 추정하여, 연구개발 투자의 적정성을 평가하고자 하였다 연구개발 투자 평가 결과, 한국가스공사의 연구개발 투자는 설비 보수 및 운영 부문에 집중되어 있으며, 비교적 기술 파급도가 높고 연구개발 니드 충족도가 큰 연구과제의 기술스톡 수준이 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

This paper aims to develop a conceptual framework for determinants of spillover effects of FDI on technology innovation of Vietnamese enterprises. The research proposes a logistic regression model for assessing how enterprises' ability to implement technological innovation is affected by the presence of FDI enterprises as well as other factors that show the change through the indirect influence of FDI such as the size of the enterprise, the type of enterprise, and the skill level of the labor force or its research and development activities. Five forms of technology innovation are considered: improving production process; product quality improvement; product expansion; expanding business activities into a new field of production; and changing business activities into a new field of production. General Statistics Office of Vietnam provided survey data to collect information from 3,166 enterprises in the manufacturing and processing industry in Hanoi, which were valid for analysis. The results show that all variables of enterprise type, size, R&D, and industry have a positive impact on the selection of one of the innovation forms. Several recommendations are further suggested to take advantage of the positive effects and minimizing the negative effects of FDI for technological innovation of Vietnamese enterprises.

본 연구는 팀발명의 정도에 있어서 상당한 차이를 보이면서 전자산업, 자동차산업에서 가장 많은 특허를 출원해온 삼성전자와 현대자동차 발명자들을 대상으로 네트워크 특성들이 발명자들 간 혁신성과 차이를 가져오는지를 분석하였다. 네트워크 내에서 더 많은 발명자들과 연결되어 있을수록 더 높은 혁신성과를 보였다. 기존 문헌들이 산업내 및 산업간, 그룹내 및 그룹외 파급효과를 조직 수준에서 다루었는데, 본 연구는 이러한 논의를 발명자 수준으로 확장하였다. 본 연구는 네트워크로부터의 파급효과풀을 새롭게 추가하여 네트워크 내외, 그룹 내외, 산업 내외의 3가지 차원에서 파급효과풀들을 구성한 후 각 파급효과풀들이 미치는 효과를 분석하였으며 서로 간에 비교하였다. 발명자 수준에서 다양한 파급효과풀들이 혁신에 미치는 효과가 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 발명자의 네트워크 특성들과 파급효과풀들이 발명자의 혁신성과에 대한 예측에 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

I analyze how the food delivery market's indirect network effect and spillover effect influence the spread of food delivery platforms in different counties. This study finds that there is a positive local indirect network effect and a positive spillover effect in the adoption of the platform by examining the food delivery platform market in South Korea as of 2020. As food delivery platforms secure consumers who use them, more restaurants on the other side of a two-sided market adopt such platforms (indirect network effect). The spillover effect would allow other restaurants in a region to become more likely to adopt food delivery platforms if there are a greater number of restaurants in the region that use such platforms. This study contributes to the comprehension of technology diffusion and the marketing strategies of platform providers by providing empirical evidence of both effects.

본 논문에서는 특허분석을 이용하여 기술이 산업에 미치는 파급효과에 관해 연구하였다. 1990년과 1995년에 각각 우리나라에서 미국에 등록한 특허를 중심으로 산업별 특허등록건수와 특허 인용횟수, 기술혁신속도, 과학기술연계 등 특허인용지표를 활용하여 이를 산업별 부가가치와의 다중 회귀분석을 통해 기술의 집합체를 연구개발 할 경우 기술이 산업에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하였다. 결론적으로 특허등록건수와 특허인용횟수는 산업별 부가가치에 대해 각각 유의한 것으로 분석되었다.

본 연구는 금융위기 이후 새로운 질서로 부상되고 있는 뉴 노멀 시대하 한국 기업의 R&D투자가 각 산업에 미치는 기술파급효과를 생산유발효과, 전후방연관효과, 기술집약효과, 기술확산효과를 통하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 먼저, 생산유발계수가 높은 부문으로는 전문과학 및 기술서비스, 금속제품, 일반기계 등인 반면 비교적 작은 부문으로는 석유 및 석탄제품, 전력, 가스 및 수도 등으로 나타났다. 또한, 산업간 전 후방연관효과를 나타내는 감응도계수와 영향력계수는 비금속광물제품이나 수송장비 등의 부문에서 비교적 높게 나타나 이들 산업을 중심으로 R&D투자를 통한 기술혁신과 생산성 증대가 이루어진다면 여타 산업에 큰 파급효과를 유발하게 될 것으로 보인다. 기술파급효과인 R&D집약효과와 확산효과에서는 두 효과 모두 비교적 높은 부문은 전기 및 전자기기, 정밀기기, 그리고 전문과학 및 기술서비스부문으로 이들 산업으로부터 많은 기술이 체화되어 이전되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 특이한 사항으로 최근에 각광받고 있는 과학전문 및 기술서비스업은 집약효과 및 확산효과 모두에서 높은 R&D투자효과를 보여주고 있어 앞으로 이들 산업의 육성이 필요시 된다고 하겠다.
