  • In this study, a learning environment based on STEAM theory was proposed to support and improve learners' activities and achievements for convergent design education. The learning environment design influence STEAM education with intentional design and schedule coordination, schools can create informal environments that are crucial to STEAM education. The physical surroundings of the learning space should be applied to teaching methods and learning activity, especially for STEAM-based education, physical space conditions should support the learner's design thinking and process. Furthermore, STEAM-based education environment should support a vast array of experiences that allow students to learn the context around ideas and skills. For spaces for learning environment based on STEAM, common design principles should be considered such as technology integration, safety and security, transparency, multipurpose space, and outdoor learning. Therefore, the learning environment based on STEAM needs flexible and mobile, connected, integrated, organized, flipped, and team-focused surroundings to support the learners understand, participate, cooperate, and accomplish the design process.

  • The robot has spread remarkably, is used not only in manufacturing but also in various other fields, and is becoming more popular in everyday life. At the same time, the functional demands for all manner of robots have been diversified. Education regarding robots has been developing in the computer, mechanism, sensor and artificial intelligence fields. Technical education which integrates all of the above is necessary and in great demand. We have developed an educational robot so that it can be used in education in fields including structure, sensory and brain function and can also organically integrate those.

  • This article describes a research project that examined the impact of hand-held technology on students' understanding linear equations and graphs in multiple representations. The results indicated that students in the graphing-approach classes were significantly better at the components of interpreting. No significant differences between the graphing-approach and traditional classes were found fur translation, modeling, and algebraic skills. Further, students in the graphing-approach classes showed significant improvements in their attitudes toward mathematics and technology, were less anxious about mathematics, and rated their class as more interesting and valuable.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze needs of convergence education on engineering and human resource development (HRD) for students in H university for increasing creative problem solving skills. To achieve the research purpose, needs analysis was conducted to students through in-depth interview about students' project experience for graduation in H university. The research finding shows that the converged areas between engineering and HRD are: connecting technologies to social context, problem solving skills, leadership, communication skills, and teamwork skills. Based on the derived five converged areas, objectives and method of the engineering-HRD convergence education are discussed. As an effective teaching and learning method, a problem-based learning and a project method are suggested. Finally, considerations for successful implementation of the engineering-HRD convergence education are discussed.

  • Silicon oxynitride films were deposited using ammonia as a nitrogen source via PECVD (plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition) to study the physical properties of the films. Silane and nitrous oxide were used as silicon and oxygen sources, respectively. The composition of the silicon oxynitride films was well controlled by changing the ratios of the sources and confirmed by XPS. The silicon oxynitride films with high oxygen content showed bigger compressive stress and less refractive index, while the values of surface roughness were around 1 nm, irrespective of the variation of the source ratios.

  • Purpose: This research used quantitative research to identify differences in death consciousness between pre and post education. The study was also designed to further understanding of the effects of nursing education by using a qualitative analysis to examine hospice education experience. Method: This study a one group pre-post test design. Results: 1 The mean score for the students' death consciousness before the hospice education averaged $2.15{\pm}\;.33$, a medium level for death Consciousness. The Score after education was $2.25{\pm}\;.36$, that is, there was higher score for death consciousness after education. 2. The result of classification, giving their names and categorizing the experience of being in a coffin shown to be self-reflection, regret, recognition to death, death as discontinuation of life, the last closing from everything, death as a sad and cruel event, death as another world, specialist intuition of nursing. Conclusion: This research provided an opportunity for nursing students to consider death earnestly and realistically through hospice nursing education. We also discovered affirmative changes in the students' viewpoint of death, students who in future clinical practice may work with elders. We also found increases in motives to develop ability to present effective aid to dying patients.

  • In mobile opportunistic networks (MONs), human-carried mobile devices such as PDAs and smartphones, with the capability of short range wireless communications, could form various intermittent contacts due to the mobility of humans, and then could use the contact opportunity to communicate with each other. The dynamic changes of the network topology are closely related to the human mobility patterns. In this paper, we propose a social motivation-aware mobility model for MONs, which explains the basic laws of human mobility from the psychological point of view. We analyze and model social motivations of human mobility mainly in terms of expectancy value theory and affiliation motivation. Furthermore, we introduce a new concept of geographic functional cells, which not only incorporates the influence of geographical constraints on human mobility but also simplifies the complicated configuration of simulation areas. Lastly, we validate our model by simulating three real scenarios and comparing it with reality traces and other synthetic traces. The simulation results show that our model has a better match in the performance evaluation when applying social-based forwarding protocols like BUBBULE.

The purpose of this study is to review teachers' perception regarding the educational change in the fourth industrial revolution. For this purpose, we surveyed 420 school teachers and administrators. Most teachers highly understand The Fourth Industrial Revolution and they think AI(Artificial Intelligence) is a core technology. They recognize The Fourth Industrial Revolution is very important and great influence in the education field. For this, they need educational innovation in the education field. Elementary school teacher perceive understanding Elementary school teachers think that understand The Fourth Industrial Revolution and change of curriculum is highly important. And, Secondary school teachers perceive that the change of education system and class is very necessary. Lastly, STEAM education is the most appropriate to prepare for a changing society.
