A Study on the Mal-Function Mechanism for Re-closer in Distribution Feeders with PV Systems (태양광발전이 연계된 배전선로의 리클로져의 오동작에 대한 메카니즘에 관한 연구)

  • 태양광발전과 같은 분산형전원이 기존의 어떤 보호협조체제하의 배전선로에 도입될 경우는 계통에 대한 역 조류에 의해 사고 시 고장 구간의 분리 및 선로재구성에 따른 차단기 및 개폐기 제어알고리즘, 그리고 순시정전 시 분산형전원의 기동정지, 개폐기의 기능, 차단용량 등에 악영향을 끼칠 우려가 다분히 있다. 또한, 사고 시 일시적으로 분리된 건전구간 내에 분산형전원이 존재하여 그 구간내의 부하와 평형을 이루며 운전되고 있는 경우가 있을 수 있는 데, 이 경우는 인체 및 전기설비에 위험을 초래하게 될 뿐만 아니라 사고의 신속한 복구에도 저해의 요인이 된다. 특히, 태양광발전이 배전선로에 연계되어 운전되는 경우, 동일 뱅크의 타 배전선로에서 사고가 발생하면 태양광발전이 연계된 건전한 배전선로의 보호협조기기(리클로져)가 오동작하는 사고가 발생하는 경우가 실 계통에서 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 이에 의하여 건전한 선로의 부하가 정전을 경험하는 심각한 문제점이 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이론적인 계산식인 대칭좌표법을 이용하여 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 수행하여, 상기의 보호기기의 오동작 메카니즘과 문제점을 분석하고, 이에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

Dynamic Magneto-mechanical Behavior of an Iron-nickel-based Ferromagnetic Alloy with Constant Elasticity

  • The dynamic magneto-mechanical behaviors in a type of iron-nickel-based ferromagnetic alloy with constant elasticity were investigated as a function of both the DC bias magnetic field ($H_{dc}$) and the frequency. The rectangular plate-like samples were excited to vibrate at a half-wavelength, longitudinal resonance by an AC magnetic field superimposed with various $H_{dc}$. The experimental results found that the strain coefficient at resonance reached 819.34 nm/A and the effective mechanical quality factor ($Q_m$) was greater than 2000. The ratio of the maximum variation of the Young's modulus over $H_{dc}$ to the value of the Young's modulus at a zero bias field was only ${\sim}0.83%o$ because of the so-called constant elasticity. The resonant strain coefficients and $Q_m$ are strongly dependent on $H_{dc}$, which indicates a promising potential for use in DC and quasistatic magnetic field sensing.

A High-sensitivity Passive Magnetic Transducer Based on PZT Plates and a Fe-Ni Fork Substrate

  • This paper proposes a magnetoelectric (ME) composite transducer structure consisting of a magnetostrictive H-type Fe-Ni fork substrate and piezoelectric PZT plates. The fork composite structure has a higher ME voltage coefficient compared to other ME composite structures due to the higher quality (Q) factor. The ME sensitivity of the fork structure reaches 12 V/Oe (i.e., 150 V/cm Oe). The fork composite with two PZT plates electrically connected in series exhibits over 5 times higher ME voltage coefficient than the output of the rectangle structure in the same size. The experiment shows the composite of a Fe-Ni fork substrate and PZT plates has a significantly enhanced ME voltage coefficient and a higher ME sensitivity relative to the prior sandwiched composite laminates. By the use of a lock-in amplifier with 10 nV resolution, this transducer can detect a weak magnetic field of less than $10^{-12}$ T. This transducer can also be designed for a magnetoelectric energy harvester due to its passive high-efficiency ME energy conversion.

  • 최근 생활수준의 향상과 정보통신산업의 급속한 발전으로 인하여, 정보통신 기기 및 정밀제어 기기의 보급증가로 전압품질에 관한 관심이 높아져가고 있다. 특히, 전압품질에 민감한 수용가(산업체, 공장, 상가, 정보산업관련빌딩 등)의 전기피해 보상 요구 등이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 특히, 21세기는 정보화 사회가 본격적으로 진전되기 때문에 전압품질에 대한 일반수용가의 반응은 상당히 민감하다. 따라서, 정부의 대체에너지 개발사업의 성공적인 결과에 힘입어, 이제 바야흐로 대체에너지전원이 보급 및 확대가 이루어져야 할 현재의 시점에 있어서, 일정 수준의 전압품질을 유지하면서, 개발된 대체 에너지전원을 기존의 배전계통에 도입 보급해 나아갈 수 있는 기술의 개발은 상당히 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 분산형전원이 도입된 배전계통은 기존의 부하만이 존재하는 배전계통과는 달리, 부하와 전원이 혼재되어 운용되는 형태로 되기 때문에 분산전원의 연계에 따라 발생이 예상되는 문제점을 검토, 분석할 수 있는 분산전원 배전계통연계용 해석 프로그램이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 분산전원이 배전계통에 연계되어 운용되는 경우, 사고시에 발생할 수 있는 현상을 분석하는 해석 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 급격히 증가한 모바일 기기로 인하여 발생되는 데이터/제어 트래픽은 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 중앙에 과다한 트래픽 수용문제가 중요 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 기존의 Centralized Mobility Management(CMM) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 Mobility Anchor 역할을 수행하는 Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW)에서는 데이터 트래픽 과부하가 발생한다. 또한 Distributed Mobility Management (DMM) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크에서 분산된 Mobility Anchor 역할을 수행하는 PDN Edge Gateway (P-EGW)에서는 제어 트래픽의 과부하가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 CMM 기반과 DMM 기반을 결합한 새로운 Software Defined Network (SDN) 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 이동성 관리 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여, P-EGW를 네트워크 내에 분산 배치하고 중앙에 P-GW를 배치한다. SDN 컨트롤러는 EPC의 역할도 수행하며 UE의 이동성에 따라 적절한 CMM 기법과 DMM 기법을 이용하도록 하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한, 제안하는 새로운 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조와 기존의 CMM기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조, DMM 기반의 LTE/EPC 네트워크 구조를 핸드오버 지연시간과 데이터 전송시간 측면에서 성능 비교 분석을 한다.

  • With the popularization of online learning, mobile learning and blended learning model, augmented reality technology is increasingly widely applied in the field of education today. This article stresses the necessity of applying augmented reality to education by summarizing the current situation and advantages of augmented reality technology in education. Next, the author proposes a new education system-"AR+E education cloud platform system". Last, the author proposes several inspirations for the design of AR-based education software according to the observation and interview of the behaviors and preferences of the respondents.

Analysis of STS Contents in Chemistry Chapters of Middle School Science Textbooks and Chemistry Teachers’ Perception Investigation of STS Education (제7차 교육과정에 의한 중학교 과학 교과서 화학 단원의 STS 교육 내용 분석과 화학 교사들의 STS 교육에 대한 인식 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the STS (science-technology-society) contents in chemistry chapters of middle school science textbooks standardized by 7th national curriculum, and to investigate chemistry teachers' perception of STS education. This study was based on 8 essential elements in STS education suggested by Yager and 9 activities in SATIS (science and technology in society). The questionnaire and interview were used to investigate chemistry teachers' perception. As a result of this study, the average value of the STS contents in chemistry chapters of 7 kinds of middle school science textbooks was 22.4%, and the STS contents were preponderated to essential elements of science application and local and community relevance. And STS contents showed that science 2 textbooks were the most of all and in order of science 1 textbooks and science 3 textbooks. As a result of analysis by activities in SATIS, most activities were practice activity, problem-solving and decision making, and structured discussion. Chemistry teachers' perceptions of STS education were following. There were many responses that STS education was necessary for educational efficiency. On the other hand STS education was unnecessary because there were few effective teaching-learning method related with STS education. From these results, middle school science textbooks have to be complemented because 2 essential elements of the STS contents were preponderated in the science textbooks. And the teaching-learning method connected with STS education will have to be developed for the efficiency of STS education.

Effect of Plasticizer on Electrolyte Membranes for Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (염료감응형 태양전지를 위한 고분자 전해질막에서의 가소제의 효과)

  • Using poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) as a polymer host, poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) as a plasticizer, potassium iodide and iodine as sources of $I^-/{I_3}^-$ PEO-PEG-KI/$I_2$ polymer gel electrolytes were prepared. Based on the polymer gel electrolytes, solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC)s were fabricated. The content of PEG in the electrolyte was changed from 0 to 85%. The electrolyte showed self-supporting form through whole range of the PEG content. As the PEG content increased, the ionic conductivity and ${I_3}^-$ diffusivity increased and the light-to electrical energy conversion efficiency increased under irradiation of 100 $mWcm^{-2}$ simulated sunlight.

  • In order to cultivate talented people with national economic influence in the rapidly changing 21st- century modern society, STEM(Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) education has been emphasized in advanced countries such as America and England. In South Korea, STEAM(Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) education is emphasized by adding Arts. The objective of STEAM education is to strengthen the interest and motivation of learners, to focus on experience, exploration, experimentation, to solve convergent thinking and real-life problems, rather than cramming method of teaching and memorization. This study identifiesan instructional design for converged English, the world's official language, and science which is found in nearly all disciplines. With the development of the 4th industrial revolution based on the PBL model, learners participate in their lessons voluntarily for problem-solving skills. The instructional design based on the ADDIE model consists of 5 procedures: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The goal of fostering talented people with national economic influence is also important, and the teacher in education must recognize the importance of STEAM education and an appropriate instructional design should be studied constantly.

Exploring the Content Direction of Children's Emotional Intelligence Education Using Augmented Reality Technology (증강현실 기술을 활용한 어린이 감성지능교육의 콘텐츠 방향성 탐색)

  • The importance of emotional intelligence education in the development of children's augmented reality education content is overlooked. Therefore, in-depth research is needed to develop children's emotional intelligence. This study was conducted through theoretical consideration and case analysis. The proposal of this paper is that the augmented reality type for children aged 2 to 7 is suitable for indoor activities with marking recognition technology. To promote an understanding of emotions, a large screen is selected, and emoticon dolls or emoticon books are recommended for learning content. Children aged 7 to 11 are suitable for indoor activities of non-marker recognition technology, and can induce emotional control and emotional recognition through active manipulation. For the learning content, "3D art teaching content" and "Online Classic Musical" are recommended. Children after the age of 11 are suitable for non-marker recognition technology outdoor activities and improve each element of emotional intelligence through interaction with nature and society. For the learning content, 'Forest Play Activity through Art' and 'EQ Theater Play' are recommended. Through this paper, we intend to promote the development of children's augmented reality emotional intelligence education.
