Recently, the mobile game industry is explosively extending and advancing. Nevertheless, although research on IT acceptance has been actively performed, the effective studies have not been accomplished in the acceptance of mobile game. This study, therefore, explores the factors affecting customer's intention to use mobile game. Five external factors(service quality, social influence, instant connectivity, self-innovativeness, and self-efficacy) are proposed to test the several hypotheses. The factors are classified to three dimensions - system, individual, and society. The research model is based on various studies on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and mobile service. A survey of mobile game users collected 270 cases, and we used 261 cases for statistical analyses. The analyses show that service quality, instant connectivity, self-innovativeness, and self-efficacy have an indirect effect on the intention to use through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. We provide the important factors that should be focused on when an enterprise develops and promotes new mobile game products.

A descriptive correlation study was conducted to identify the factors of health promotion behaviors among adolescents. Participants were 643 students in a high school. Data were collected using a self administered questionnaire. Participants' health promotion behaviors were relatively high. Among sub-domains of health promotion behaviors, infectious diseases prevention was the highest domain and accident prevention was the lowest domain. Participants' smoking, self-efficacy, and social support were statistically significant factors to explain their health promotion behaviors and these variables accounted for 38.0% variance of health promotion behaviors among high school students. Among the variables that were statistically significant, social support was the most explanatory. Conclusions: Accident prevention education should be strengthened in health promotion program for adolescents. More attention is needed for health promotion behaviors among smoking group adolescents. Moreover, we confirmed the importance of social support from school, family and community to improve health promotion behaviors among adolescents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the net effect and the combined effect of the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers at public research institutes. Based on the existing literature, the determinants of the researcher's likelihood of start-up success were reviewed, and a conceptual relationship between the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success was established. Data collection was conducted through a survey targeting researchers at public research institutes, and a total of 114 data were collected. The partial least squares (PLS) analysis method was used to analyze the net effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant, and the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was used to analyze the combined effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant. In the PLS analysis results, it was found that technology commercialization probability and creative self-efficacy had a significant positive effect independently on the likelihood of start-up success. In the fsQCA results, we found a combined effect of increasing the likelihood of start-up success when the technology commercialization probability, technology commercialization capability, and creative self-efficacy were high. These research results provide academic implications for understanding the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers in public research institutes.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify how job stress and teaching efficacy impacted organizational commitment. Methods: Data were collected from 158 nursing professors via an online survey, from Jan to June 2019. Results: The study found that four factors affected the organizational commitment of nursing professors: i) type of nursing institution in which they are currently employed (β=-.16, p=.030), ii) position as an assistant professor (β=-.37, p=.012) and an associate professor (β=-.44, p=.002), iii) salary in the 50-59 million won range (β=.20, p=.024), and above 60 million won (β=.41, p<.001), and iv) professor's teaching efficacy (β=-.18, p<.016). Conclusion: To increase the organizational commitment of four-year university professors, job characteristics should be considered. In the case of lower positions and salaries, additional compensation and programs that increase school affiliation should be introduced. Teaching methods training, lecture evaluation monitoring programs, and clinical training may also improve teaching efficacy.
Purpose - This empirical study, aims to identify the determinants of adoption and acceptance of mobile payment as to understand why it is successful in some countries in Sub-Saharan Africa but failing in others. A comparative study of a successful mobile payment service and a purported failed one was done as to have some insights to the factors affecting acceptance of the technology. Design/methodology/approach - The strength of three notable theories: theory of diffusion of innovation (DOI), the extended unified theory of user acceptance of information technology (UTAUT2) and self-efficacy theory were use. The self-efficacy of government support inclusion as, a moderating variable in the form of infrastructure, securing transaction and price value revealed the relevance of government in the success of mobile payment service. By means of a field survey of 705 subjects in two separate regions of Africa (East and West), the data was collected and use to test the research model. Findings - The study result shows the importance of the moderating factor of government support to the success of mobile payment of any nation. The result also shows the importance of the perception of relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, social influence as already revealed by other studies. Research implications or Originality - Mobile payment success in some part of Sub-Saharan Africa is well known but also suggested to fail in some Sub-Saharan African countries. Buttressing the need for understanding of the factors affecting mobile payment acceptance. This article empirically examined the factors influencing the success of mobile payment, and we implicated that if the implementation of mobile payment is to be successful for mobile commerce in any nation, adoption, acceptance and use by its citizen is imperative.
Use of technology through utilization of ICT (Information Communication Technology) in field study area is rapidly increasing. Thus, when applying ICT to experiential education, apart from experiential education contents in simple form, the demand for new high quality contents is increasing considering change in education paradigm focusing on creativity. As a result, high quality interactive experiential education content for developing self-directed future talents is required. As a result of this, the development of ARD-based ICT experiential education content system that enhances learning effect of students by integrating ARD-based (Augmented Reality Display) ICT and experiential education to promote existence and immersion is being tested. This paper aims to improve efficacy and achieve vitalization through case analysis of AR-based ICT experiential education content. As a result of case analysis, the composition of content for improving education content included 1) constant securing and strengthening of experiential education content, 2) necessity for development of participating education content by diverse age groups, 3) development of differentiated ICT experiential education content, and 4) securing professional manpower and development of content in connection with education process. Therefore, with the efficacy of ARD-based ICT experiential education content, this study can first, enhance bond between students, second, enable self-directed learning, third, increase practical understanding in contents that were difficult to control by textbook contents, and fourth, increase interest and immersion in learning. Therefore, the contents on new converging technology that can maximize the development of constant content and cooperation between ICT technology and pedagogy for educating creativity and autonomy of ICT experiential education content.
Objectives: The self-management of chronic diseases is currently receiving much attention. This study applied an extended technology acceptance model (ETAM) to analyze the factors influencing acceptance of a healthcare smartphone application. Methods: Three hundred people living in Seoul and Gyeonggi who used smartphones were quota sampled. A telephone survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire based on ETAM. A path analysis was carried out using the AMOS 17.0 program, and the model was verified. Results: The analysis revealed significant factors of perceived usefulness (.374, p < .001), enjoyment (.210, p < .001), subjective norms (.168, p < .001), perceived costs (.146, p < .001), and innovativeness (.138, p < .001). Cost directly influenced intention to use health applications; self-efficacy and perceived ease of use indirectly affected intention through innovation and perceived usefulness. Conclusions: This study helped to identify the main factors that influence usage intention of smartphone applications. These findings could contribute to promoting the self-management of chronic disease through future health applications using smartphones.

The analysis of beauty major students' acceptance intentions for digital new technologies revealed that subjective norms and self-efficacy significantly impact ease of use as mediating variables, and willingness to innovate and self-efficacy significantly impact usefulness as mediating variables. However, willingness to innovate did not significantly impact ease of use, and subjective norms did not significantly impact usefulness. Ease of use and usefulness significantly impacted acceptance attitude, and acceptance attitude significantly impacted acceptance intention. These results suggest that while beauty major students recognize the positive necessity of new technology application in the beauty field, they may feel somewhat burdened by learning and utilizing new technologies. Learners' fear of applying new technologies could result in a reluctance to take courses necessary for understanding and acquiring digital new technologies. To address this, it is necessary to analyze the basic knowledge level of digital technology among beauty major students and develop lower-level related courses and programs to help them easily understand digital new technologies.

Method: The Welding program training was a non-equality control pre- and post-test design consisting of eight sessions for eight weeks, 120 minutes per week. Data were analyzed by the ${\chi}^2$-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Wilcoxon rank test. Results: The education program was found to influence meaning of life, self-efficacy and successful aging among the elderly. Conclusion: The Welding program has a positive effect on meaning of life, self-efficacy, and successful aging of the elderly, helps the elderly to set values for correct death[ED highlight - please clarify this, I am not sure of your intended meaning.] and give happiness to their lives. It is expected to be used as a useful education program to help raise awareness. The results of this study suggest that the development of a lighting program[ED highlight - please clarify what you mean by this.] for elderly people should be systematically and continuously implemented.
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing health promoting behavior of the elderly for develop health promoting intervention of old people. The subjects of this study were 167 elderly person over the age of 60, living in rural city in Korea. The data were collected by interview and self report questionnaire, during the period from May, 1999 to August. 1999 The instruments for this study were the PRQ-II by Weinert(1988), the scale of Locus of Control by Wallstone et al(1978), the scale of self efficacy by Sherer & Maddux(1982), 10 points visual analogue scale for the perceived health status and the importance of health, the health promoting behavior scale by Walker et al(1987), and the scales developed by authors for the perceived benefits of health promoting behaviors, and the perceived barriers to health promoting behaviors. The Cronbach 's alpha of these scales were .84 ~.97. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Among cognitive perceptual factors of the Health Promotion Model by Pender(1987), the scores of the importance of health, the perceived internal control of health, the self efficacy, the perceived health status, and the perceived benefits were significantly positive correlation with the scores of the health promoting behavior of the elderly. In addition, the scores of the perceived barriers were significantly negative correlation with the scores of the health promoting behavior of the elderly. 2. Among modifying factors of the Health Promotion Model by Pender(1987), the pocket money of the elderly, the scores of social support were significantly positive correlation with the scores of the health promoting behavior of the elderly. In addition, ages of old people were significantly negative correlations with the scores of the health promoting behavior of the elderly. 3. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of health promoting behavior was the self efficacy. A combination of the self efficacy, the perceived barriers, the social support, the importance of health, and the perceived internal control of health accounted for 56.2% of the variance in health promoting behavior in the elderly. From the results of this study, we concluded that the Health Promotion Model by Pender will be used to explain health promoting behavior of the elderly. We suggested that the results of this study will be considered in developing health promoting programs of elderly.
