인터넷의 발달과 인터넷 이용자수의 급격한 증가로 정보 검색 시스템의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 또한 대용량의 문서에서 사용자가 원하는 정보를 정확하게 찾기가 점점 어려워지고 있다. 현재 대부분의 검색 시스템들은 문서 길이에 대한 정규화를 처리하고 있다. 현재 문서 길이 정보도 검색 시스템의 검색성능에 기여를 하고 있다. 일반적으로 TREC이나 HANTEC2.0을 이용한 검색 성능 평가를 했을 때문서 길의 정규화를 하지 않는 것보다 한 것이 우수한 성능을 보여 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 KISTAL2000을 이용하여 위치 정보를 사용하여 문서 길의 정규화 방법에 제시하고 이에 대한 실험하였다.

기술정보(技術情報)의 체계적인 관리를 도모하는 기업이나 단체에 있어서 주요 애로사항은 관련업무의 계획을 수립하는 단계에서 반영하거나 참고할 만한 사례조사나 기술정보관리(技術情報管理)의 성공요인 등에 대한 국내 연구가 현실적으로 매우 적다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기술정보(技術情報) 관리자(管理者)들의 보편적인 인식과 견해를 토대로 하여 기술정보관리의 성공 요인을 분석, 식별하는 한편, 체계적인 정보관리 활동의 지표가 될 수 있는 기술정보관리(技術情報管理)의 개념(槪念) 모델을 실무에 제시하였다.

최근 지식기반사회에 접어들면서 정보의 양은 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으며, 인터넷과 디지털 컨텐츠의 확산으로 인해 정보의 접근성 또한 매우 향상되었다. 이로 인해 세계적으로 방대한 정보의 체계적인 관리와 효율적인 분석이 큰 이슈가 되고 있다. 또한, 정보의 패러다임이 정보의 접근시대에서 정보의 분석시대로 전환되고 있으며, 이에 대비하여 기술정보를 통한 기술트렌드의 분석과 이를 시스템적으로 구현하는 방법의 정립이 시급한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기술정보 DB의 검색결과를 온라인상에서 시스템적으로 신속하게 분석함으로써 연구개발 및 기술개발의 방향설정에 기여하며 정보수집 및 분석에 소요되는 노력과 시간을 획기적으로 단축시킬 수 있는 정보분석시스템을 개발하였다.

최근 사이언스 컴퓨팅 분야에서 대용량 데이터가 발생하고 있고 컴퓨팅 자원들의 수요도 급증하고 있다. 이로 인해 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술의 필요성이 중요시되고 있고 전 세계적으로 급속히 발전하고 있다. 천문 연구 분야에서 관측기기의 발전으로 대용량의 천문 데이터가 생산되고 있다. 이를 처리하기 위하여 다양한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술을 이용한 데이터 분석 환경이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 환경을 구축하기 위해서는 가상 인프라 자원을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있어야 한다. 현재 가상 인프라 자원을 관리하기 위해 오픈 소스를 개발하는 프로젝트들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 오픈 소스인 Eucalyptus와 OpenNebula의 기능적인 측면을 크게 10가지로 분류하여 장단점을 비교 분석하였고 OpenNebula의 세 가지 특징인 중앙 집중화된 구조, live migration과 suspend/resume 기능, 커스터마이징 기능이 대용량 천문 응용 수행을 위한 환경을 구축하는데 반드시 필요하기 때문에 OpenNebula를 채택하였다. OpenNebula를 사용해 구축한 사이언스 클라우드 테스트베드는 NFS 서버의 별도 구성을 통한 성능 개선, 하이브리드 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경 구축, B클래스 사설 네트워크 구성, GUI 기반 사이언스 클라우드 테스트베드 관리 및 모니터링 기능의 4가지 특징을 가지고 있다. 앞으로도 천문 연구자들에게 안정적인 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 관련 연구를 계속할 것이다.

현대 경제의 새로운 성장엔진은 혁신적인 기술 집약형 중소기업이다. 그러나 많은 중소기업들이 비대칭 정보 문제로 인해 자금 조달에 애로를 겪고 있다. 중소기업에 대한 정보를 공유하면 이러한 비대칭 정보의 문제를 완화할 수 있다. 이 논문은 한국의 중소기업 신용정보 및 기술정보 공유시스템에 대해 설명한다. 그리고 Karapetyan and Stacescu(2013)에 기초하여 중소기업정보 공유가 은행의 신용분석 활동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 이론적으로 분석한다. 중소기업에 대한 정보 공유가 확대되면 은행의 정보집합이 늘어날 뿐 아니라 은행의 신용분석 활동이 촉진되는 효과가 있다. 이에 따라 정부는 중소기업정보의 생산 및 공유를 활성화하기 위해 다양한 유인책을 제시할 필요가 있다.

Through a series of precise text handling processes, including automatic extraction of information from documents with knowledge from various fields, recognition of entity names, detection of core topics, analysis of the relations between the extracted information and topics, and automatic inference of new knowledge, the most efficient knowledge base of the relevant field is created, and plans to apply these to the information knowledge management and service are the core requirements necessary for intellectualization of information. In this paper, the knowledge base, which is a necessary core resource and comprehensive technology for intellectualization of science and technology information, is described and the usability of academic information services using it is evaluated. The knowledge base proposed in this article is an amalgamation of information expression and knowledge storage, composed of identifying code systems from terms to documents, by integrating terminologies, word intelligent networks, topic networks, classification systems, and authority data.

A single DSP implementation of 3D sound movement is described. With the use of a realtime 3D acoustic image localization algorithm, an efficient approach is devised for synthesizing the 3D sound movement by interpolating only two parameters of "delay" and "gain". Based on this algorithm, the realtime 3D sound synthesis is performed by a commercially available 16-bit fixed-point DSP with computational labor of 65 MIPS and memory space of 9.6k words, which demonstrates that the algorithm call be used even for the mobile applications.

The information revolution is sweeping through the global economy. The strategic significance of the information and information technology have been some what underestimated. Now they are transforming the structure of competition. Information technology must be applied to improve and sustain an organization's competitive advantage. The successful implementation of information technology is dependent on the effectiveness of information systems planning. However, the selection of the right methodology still remains a open question. This paper describes the existing methodologies for information system planning. A complementary approach to strategic information systems planning, which was developed for a steel company, is suggested. The approach attempts to combine Business Systems Planning of IBM and Critical Success Factors Analysis for effective information systems planning. Although this approach is in the experimental stage it looks to be of benefit to large organizations which require information planning for managerial level.

In this paper, we present a new sensing method based on phase entropy. Entropy is a measurement which quantifies the information content contained in a signal. For the PSK modulation, the information is encoded in the phase of the transmitted signal. By focusing on phase, more information is collected during sensing, which suggests a superior performance. The sensing based on Phase entropy is not limited to PSK signal. We generalize it to PAM signal as well. It is more advantageous to detect the phase. The simulation results have confirmed the excellent performance of this novel sensing algorithm.

현재 네트워크 기술, 디지털 통신, 디지털 방송 기술의 진전으로 방대한 멀티미디어 정보가 인터넷 및 방송을 통하여 서비스가 제공되고 있으며, 이에 따라 멀티미디어 정보의 부호화 기술은 21세기의 주요 핵심기술로서 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 정보검색 기술, 정보추출 기술 발전 및 새로울 멀티미디어 서비스 프레임워크의 표준화의 진척으로 인해 방대한 멀티미디어 데이터로부터 필요한 정보를 얻는 것이 가능해지고 있으며, 또한 대화형 통신 및 멀티미디어 정보로부터 지식의 라이브러리 구축이 가능해짐으로써 고도의 휴먼 대화형 기술의 실현을 눈앞에 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG 관련 표준 기술, 기술개발현황 및 시장현황에 관해 다룬다.
