  • 전 세계적으로 해운물류 안전 보안체계가 강화됨에 따라 국가물류보안 체계 구축을 위한 해운물류안전 보안 핵심기술 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 국제적 정서에 발맞추어, 국내에서도 감마선 핵종을 검출할 수 있는 휴대용 방사선 검출 장치에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 방사선 검출에 대한 검사 장비의 성능을 높이려고 온도 보정 Algorithm을 적용한 Digital 휴대용 방사선 검출기 구현에 대한 연구를 제안하고자 한다.

자동차 조립시스템 지향 AR을 위한 소프트웨어 기반의 캘리브레이션 시스템 개발 (Development of a software based calibration system for automobile assembly system oriented AR)

  • Many automobile manufacturers are doing experiment on manufacturing environments by using an augmented reality technology. However, system layout and process simulation by using the virtual reality technology have been performed actively more than by using the augmented reality technology in practical use so far. Existing automobile assembly by using the augmented reality requires the precise calibrating work after setting the robot because the existing augmented reality system for the automobile assembly system configuration does not include the end tip deflection and the robot joints deflection due to the heavy weight of product and gripper. Because the robot is used mostly at the automobile assembly, the deflection problem of the robot joint and the product in the existing augmented reality system need to be improved. Moreover camera lens calibration has to be performed precisely to use augmented reality. In order to improve this problem, this paper introduces a method of the software based calibration to apply the augmented reality effectively to the automobile assembly system. On the other hand, the camera lens calibration module and the direct compensation module of the virtual object displacement for the augmented reality were designed and implemented. Furthermore, the developed automobile assembly system oriented AR-system was verified by the practical test.

A New Automatic Compensation Network for System-on-Chip Transceivers

  • This paper proposes a new automatic compensation network (ACN) for a system-on-chip (SoC) transceiver. We built a 5 GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) with an on-chip ACN using 0.18 ${\mu}m$ SiGe technology. This network is extremely useful for today's radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit devices in a complete RF transceiver environment. The network comprises an RF design-for-testability (DFT) circuit, capacitor mirror banks, and a digital signal processor. The RF DFT circuit consists of a test amplifier and RF peak detectors. The RF DFT circuit helps the network to provide DC output voltages, which makes the compensation network automatic. The proposed technique utilizes output DC voltage measurements and these measured values are translated into the LNA specifications such as input impedance, gain, and noise figure using the developed mathematical equations. The ACN automatically adjusts the performance of the 5 GHz LNA with the processor in the SoC transceiver when the LNA goes out of the normal range of operation. The ACN compensates abnormal operation due to unusual thermal variation or unusual process variation. The ACN is simple, inexpensive and suitable for a complete RF transceiver environment.

Compensation for Photovoltaic Generation Fluctuation by Use of Pump System with Consideration for Water Demand

  • In remote islands, due to expense of existing generation systems, installation of photovoltaic cells (PVs) and wind turbines has a chance of reducing generation costs. However, in island power systems, even short-term power fluctuations change the frequency of grids because of their small inertia constant. In order to compensate power fluctuations, the authors proposed the power consumption control of pumps which send water to tanks. The power control doesn’t affect water users’ convenience as long as tanks hold water. Based on experimental characteristics of a pump system, this paper shows methods to determine reference power consumption of the system with compensation for short-term PV fluctuations while satisfying water demand. One method uses a PI controller and the other method calculates reference power consumption from water flow reference. Simulations with a PV and a pump system are carried out to find optimum parameters and to compare the methods. Results show that both PI control method and water flow calculation method are useful for satisfying the water demand constraint. The water demand constraint has a little impact to suppression of the short-term power fluctuation in this condition.

A Study on a Catenary Impedance Estimation Technique using Boosting Current Compensation Based on Current Division Characteristics of an AT Feeding System

  • Generally, an autotransformer(AT) feeding system consists of double tracks, up and down, with the trolley wire and feeder wire of the up and down tracks connected in the sectioning post(SP). Consequently, load current or fault current flows on two tracks based on catenary impedance characteristics, making it difficult to estimate catenary impedance accurately. This paper presents a technique for the estimation of catenary impedance using boosting current compensation based on the current division characteristics of an AT feeding system to improve the operation performance of impedance relay. To verify the technique, we model an AT feeding system through a power analysis program (PSCAD/EMTDC) and simulate various operation and fault conditions. Through the simulation, we confirmed that the proposed technique has estimated catenary impedance with a similar degree of accuracy to the actual catenary impedance

방위산업 R&D 지체상금 제도 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Delay Compensation System in Defense Industry R&D)

  • 현재 방위산업 R&D 특성이 반영되지 못한 지체상금 제도를 적용하고 있어 방산업체의 경영악화 및 전력화 지연 등 문제가 되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 방위산업 R&D 특성이 반영된 지체상금 제도 개선방안을 연구하여 방위 산업 발전과 효율적으로 전투력 증강을 추진하는데 기여하기 위한 것이다. 연구는 방위산업 R&D 특성, 국가 R&D, 지체상금율, 감면 및 면제 절차와 기존연구를 분석하였다. 그리고 지체상금 부과 실태 및 지체 원인분석 등을 기초로 델파이 기법을 적용하여 개선방안을 연구하였다. 최신 기술이 적용되어 성공여부가 불투명한 방위산업 R&D에 상용품 '제조·구매' 기준을 적용하는 것은 적절하지 않은 것으로 연구되었다. 연구결과 지체 발생 방지 방안으로 우수 기술 보유 업체 선정 등 4개의 방안과 지체가 발생 시 합리적 처리를 위해 지체상금 경감 및 차등 적용 등 3개의 방안이 도출되었다. 방위산업 R&D의 특성으로 인해 방위사업법에 의해서 업무가 진행되는 것처럼 마찬가지로 지체상금 제도도 방위산업 R&D 특성이 반영된 제도로 개선한다면 방위산업은 발전하게 될 것이고, 효율적이고 경제적인 무기체계 획득에도 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

기압고도계 오차 보상을 고려한 INS/GNSS/TRN 통합항법 설계 (Design of INS/GNSS/TRN Integrated Navigation Considering Compensation of Barometer Error)

  • Safe aircraft requires highly reliable navigation information. The traditionally used inertial navigation system (INS) often displays faulty location information due to its innate errors. To overcome this, the INS/GNSS or INS/TRN integrated navigation can be used. However, GNSS is vulnerable to jamming and spoofing, while TRN can be degraded in the flat and repetitive terrains. In this paper, to improve the performance and ensure the high reliability of the navigation system, the INS/GNSS/TRN integrated navigation based on federated filter is designed. Master filter of the integrated navigation uses the estimates and covariances of two local filters - INS/GNSS and INS/TRN integrated filters. The local filters are designed with the EKF that is feedforward type and composed of the 17st state variables. And the INS/GNSS integrated navigation includes the barometer error compensation method. Finally, the proposed INS/GNSS/TRN integrated navigation is verified by vehicle and captive flight tests.

공익사업 손실보상체계 스마트화를 위한 핵심기술요소 도출 (Critical Technology Element for Development of Smart Compensation System in Public Sector)

  • 본 논문에서는 도로, 하천건설, 댐건설 등 공익사업 중에 발생하는 보상업무와 관련하여 보상민원을 감소시키고 투명한 보상체계 수립을 위해 첨단 ICT 기술을 활용한 선진화된 보상체계 개발에 필요한 12개의 핵심요소기술을 도출하였다. 핵심요소 기술도출을 위해 전문가 설문 및 면담 등을 통해 18개의 후보군을 도출하였으며 6개의 체크리스트를 활용하여 12개의 핵심요소기술을 도출하였다. 도출된 주요내용으로는 보상민원을 줄일 수 있는 다양한 의사결정 및 사전검토 기술, 보상물건 측정 및 계측 자동화 기술, 클라우드 기반의 표준화된 보상자료 관리시스템 개발, 보상 민원 처리 및 공개기술 등이 포함되었다. 본 논문에서 도출된 핵심요소기술을 기반으로 보상업무 체계를 개편할 경우 보상업무 스마트화 및 첨단화가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Based on accurate image processing technology, a system for measuring displacement in ${\mu}m$ for drive error (position error, straightness error, flatness error) at a distance using parallel light and image sensor is developed, and a system for applying this technology development to a large 3D rapid prototyping machine and compensating in real time is developed to dramatically reduce the range of measurement error and enable intelligent 3D production of high quality products.

레이저를 이용한 버 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of Burr Measurement System Using Laer)

  • A system for burr measurement is developed to measure the geometry of the burr formed in metal cutting or shearing operations. laser system is selected according to the required measuring accuracy and burr size. A specific program for calculating the burr geometry from measured laser data is developed. The raw data is obtained by scanning cross the burr. The height and width of burr are calculated. Due to the specific characteristic of laser peak or valley are formed in measuring sharp edges or small sharp cracks. Compensation for the peak or valley is carried out to make it possible to calculate the burr, burr geometry is measured in 3 dimension.
