The Influence of After-Sales Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty in Mobile Phone (휴대폰 애프터서비스 품질이 고객만족과 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to configure what dimensions make up for smart phone after service quality, and how this service quality affects customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Smart phone market is a market of the device leading the digital convergence as well as positioning itself as one of the national growth driving industry. To survive in this matured market, companies should have to respond actively to radical changes and customers needs in the so-called Smart Revolution environment. Lately, however, the smart phone market is prospected to move from growth phase to mature phase by the scholars. In order to proactively respond to the change in such market condition, companies need to provide absolute advantage in customer loyalty over their competitors by revolutionizing the after-sales service quality. Qualified A/S will lead to service satisfaction and achieve customer loyalty. The empirical analysis results obtained through A/S quality are as follows : First, human quality (attitude, expertise, problem-solvability), environment quality (handling agility, convenience, comfort), service policy quality (quality guarantee, additional service operation) are dimensions that make up for A/S quality. Second, A/S quality dimension showed a significant positive influence on service satisfaction and A/S satisfaction showed a positive influence on customer loyalty as well. Based on this empirical study, we propose some implications for A/S quality improvement. First, human quality dimension has relatively higher influence on A/S satisfaction in case of free A/S, so companies need to solve the product problem completely when consumer's first visit by continual employee education. Second, in case of paid A/S, the service policy quality-especially A/S Warranty period- has higher influence on A/S satisfaction.

A User Analysis on the Improving Direction of KONEPS : Focus on Gyeongbuk province (국가종합전자조달시스템 종합쇼핑몰 개선방향에 대한 사용자분석 : 경북지역 중심으로)

  • This paper is based on the suggestions of the prior research on the buyer feedback, the selection of various product options, and the payment procedure improvements for Korea ON-line E-Procurement System(KONEPS), and this is to confirm the necessity of improvement and satisfaction from the viewpoint of the workers of the public and subordinate organizations the purchasing and using of the computer equipment in the actual KONEPS(Korea ON-line E-Procurement System). Based on the basic questionnaires and in-depth interviews, this paper conducts the qualitative case studies on IT and non - IT workers who had purchasing experiences for equipment at public institutions and government agencies in Gyeongbuk province. As results of the study, it was confirmed that the improvement is necessary for the buyer feedback and option selection part, and that there is a difference among the work experience for the simplification of the payment procedure and the satisfaction. In addition, the biggest contribution in the provided research is to categorize and to analyze the opinions on the use of public and relevant subordinate research participants. Additional work will be needed for a large number of workers in public and subordinate organizations who have purchasing experiences for handling various procurement products and those working in the metropolitan area and other public and subordinate agencies.

  • Since the beginning of 2002, KONEPS(Korea ON-line E-Procurement System) which is known with GePS(Government e-Procurement Service), has become a significant role in Korea public procurement service. This paper focuses on the amendments of the related laws and the practical improvement of inconveniences and inefficiencies in user's' position during the use of KONEPS. We analyzed the case of government procurement by major countries, the detailed process and function of KONEPS, and confirmed the revised procurement laws since the commencement of KONEPS. When a user of KONEPS makes an online purchase at the g2b shopping mall to purchase procurement goods, we analyzed focused on the inconvenience of option selection, user feedback after purchasing, unification of the purchase procedure, compared with general online shopping purchase. This paper suggests practical ways to improve the inconveniences and inefficiencies that arise in the process of procurement and use from KONEPS. It is necessary to study on the construction contracts and the empirical studies based on the questionnaire on the functions of procurement law and research model for the cases used in this study in the future.

Development of Evaluation Model for Learning Company Participating Work-Study Parallel Program using AHP (AHP를 활용한 일학습병행 학습기업 평가모형 개발)

  • This study aims to establish an evaluation model by quantifying the evaluation index as a follow-up study to the development of evaluation index for work-study parallel learning companies. An evaluation model was established by verifying the 2nd level components based on the quantitative factors of the learning company, the qualitative factors, the competency factors of the person in charge, and the competency factors of the learning workers, which are the highest-level components derived from previous study. For the evaluation of a learning company, an AHP survey was conducted with experts in charge of the company consulting to derive important factors that determine the quality of on-site education and training, and the evaluation model of the learning company was completed and grouped by calculating the weight between evaluation items proceeded. Work-study parallel program was promoted as a key policy to resolve the mismatch between industrial sites and school education and realize a competency-centered society, and as of December 2022, 16,664 companies participated in the training. Learning companies play a very important role as education and training supply organizations that conduct field training. It is expected that the support and consulting plan for each level of learning companies according to the evaluation model presented in this study will be used as basic data to improve the quality of work-study parallel program.

The influence of VAT framing on the attitude toward price frame : Focused on the moderating effect of thinking style (부가가치세 프레이밍이 가격제시방법에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 : 사고방식의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study has examined the influence of VAT frame(VAT included vs. VAT excluded) on the consumer's attitude. Additionally, it has also examined the moderating effect of thinking style(holistic vs. analytic). The experiment stimuli were operated in 4 types[(product: utilitarian/hedonic)x(VAT: included vs. excluded)]. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) The consumers preferred the VAT included frame to the VAT excluded frame. 2) The moderating effect of thinking style appeared. There is no meaningful difference between the VAT included frame and the VAT excluded one to analytic thinkers. But the holistic thinkers preferred the latter to the former. It is expected that this will be helpful to the person in charge of marketing for the company to establish an effective marketing strategy by considering these results.

The Effect of Sponsorship Articulation and Moderating Effect of Articulation Type & Thinking Style (스폰서십 접합화와 접합화 유형 및 사고방식의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to test the effects of articulation and sponsorship according to the native fit level. Especially this study is focused on the moderating effect of articulation type and thinking style. The results of this study are as follows. 1) An articulation effect appears more in the low native fit than the high one. 2), 3) The moderating effect appears in articulation type, but partially in thinking style. Namely, the difference in the articulation effect appears between commercial and non commercial articulation, but it does partially between holistic thinkers and analytic thinkers. 3) The higher articulation effect is, the more sponsorship effect(attitude toward sponsor and sponsor brand) is. The results of this study contribute theoretical and managerial implications about articulation and its effect as an effective means in marketing communications.

  • In this paper, we investigated the satisfaction of incorporation founder through the Startbiz System. We also expected that the research results contribute to draw the development plan of Startbiz System afterward. The satisfaction in the Startbiz System was investigated in four dimensions such as the company establishing service, the website quality, the business promotion environment of the associated organizations, and providing information. The satisfaction appeared for the order of the company establishing service, providing information, the website quality, and the business promotion environment of the associated organizations. It's necessary to improve of the business promotion environment of the associated organizations for activating an incorporation utilizing the Startbiz System.

A Study on the Expected Effect of Mobile Prepaid Payment for the Activation of Food Waste Volume-Rate System (음식물 종량제 활성화를 위한 모바일 선불결제 적용에 따른 기대효과 연구)

  • This study proposes an NFC-based payment system that considers user convenience while expanding the existing payment method for RFID-based individual food and logistics waste equipment. In line with this trend, I proposed to apply NFC to the existing RFID-based food meter to release the food in the meantime and to address the problem of re-carrying due to card loss, card not possessed, and non-filling, and the question that could not be identified by various cumbersome procedures. NFC's function alone has been certified for its convenience, which led to its introduction and research in the period of time. Of course, we need to negotiate fees with the transportation card company, but if we see a market share related to transportation card soon, we think smooth negotiations will take place. NFC method will be expanded to all phones with iPhone NFC opening. Therefore, in the next study, we intend to apply the payment system in NFC by linking with local currency, mobile vouchers, and card companies, which are being paid as respective payment means according to the recent emergency support system for COVID-19.

The Influence of Self-Overviewing Attributes of Franchise Firms on Cost Behavior (프랜차이즈 기업 경영자의 자기과시적 성향이 원가행태에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effect of the self-overviewing attributes derived from agency problem on the cost behavior in franchise industry. To solve the research problem, we developed the proxies for self-overviewing attributes of domestic franchise CEO and used Anderson et al. (2003)'s cost behavior model to test hypothesis. Moreover, we grouped the self-overviewing variables for additional test. We find that operating costs are more sticky for firms which present higher CEO's self-overviewing attributes in franchise industry. Second, we find that the greater the self-overviewing tendency, more strengthened cost stickiness when sales decrease. This study is meaningful in that we developed proxies for self-overviewing propensity, such as the hypodermic behaviors of franchise CEO, which have not been performed in previous studies, to enhance future studies of franchise CEO. Futhermore, we empirically provide the effects of CEO's self-overviewing attributes on the operating costs behaviors, suggesting useful information to franchise stakeholders such as prospective start-ups, franchisee and investors.

Cost of Illness due to Maternal Disorders in Korea (우리나라 모성 관련 질환의 사회적 비용)

  • Objectives: Maternal morbidity and mortality are important healthcare issues. However there have been few studies on cost of illness (COI) from maternal disorders. This study aimed to estimate the COI due to maternal disorders in Korea. Methods: By reviewing previous studies and consulting expert we determined the scope of maternal disorders. We operationally defined maternal disorders as maternal hemorrhage, maternal sepsis, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, obstructed labor, and abortion for maternal disorders. The reference period of this study is the year 2015. Main source of data were the National Health Insurance Service claims data, cause of death statistics from the Korea National Statistical Office, and the Korea Health Panel study. We classified the total costs into direct and indirect costs. The direct costs cover healthcare costs and non-healthcare costs. The indirect costs consist of productivity losses due to morbidity and premature death. Results: The cost of maternal disorders in 2015 was 229.7 billion won. The direct and indirect costs of maternal disorders were 165.2 billion won and 64.5 billion won respectively. The largest cost item for maternal disorders was healthcare cost (138.3 billion won, 60.2%). By age groups, the COI in 30-39 years old women were the highest (165.1 billion won, 71.9%). Abortion was the disorder with the highest COI among maternal disorders (71.9 billion won, 31.3%). Conclusion: The COI due to maternal disorders in Korea is quite substantial. Economic burden of maternal disorder increased when being compared with the year 2012 data despite the continued low birth rate in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the social costs of the maternal disorders in Korea.
