밀기울에 대한 열처리가 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Various Thermal Treatments on Physicochemical Properties of Wheat Bran)

  • 밀기울의 각종 열처리에 따른 밀기울의 화학적 구조 및 기능특성의 변화를 연구하였다. 사용한 열처리의 종류는 toasting, roasting, drum drying, autoclaving+drum drying, microwaving+drum drying, extrusion이였다. 열처리 공정에 의하여 가장 뚜렷한 차이를 보인 것은 수용성 식이섬유의 함량으로서 원료밀기울에 비하여 약 $40{\sim}110%$의 수용성 식이섬유가 증가하였다. 반면에 상대적으로 불용성 식이섬유의 함량도 감소하기 때문에 총 식이섬유 함량은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 또한, 열처리에 의하여 용해도와 보수적이 증가한 반면에 보유력은 오히려 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 용적밀도와 팽화도는 각각 보수력과 밀접한 관계를 보이지 않았으나, 이들의 곱은 보수력과 높은 상관관계$(R^2=0.94)$를 보였다. 그러나 수용성 성분을 배제한 불용성 성분의 보수력은 용적밀도와 팽화도와의 곱에도 거의 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 주사전자현미경에 의한 밀기울의 외형적 구조변화에 대한 관찰은 열처리에 따른 밀기울의 화학적 및 기능적 특징에 대한 결과를 잘 반영해주었다.

  • Recently, the cultivated area is reduced, the ratio of upland-field in the total cultivated area is increasing relative appeared in 36.2% in 1990 from 43.7% in 2013. If upland-field can be applied well designed-infrastructure, good income crop production is possible, however, maintenance of infrastructure and a significant portion of the upland-field is maintained under insufficient infrastructure. While imports of agricultural products expanded since the 2000s in progress, looking at the self-sufficiency of upland-field crops, it is reduced to from 90% to 42% for the pepper, it is from 90% to 74% for the garlic, cereals is reduced from 42% by 26%. As a result of these conditions, the competitiveness of farmers has weakened, the risk to meet the challenges of this area of production and supply reduction increased. This study was the first to conduct a basic evaluation index, data analysis and evaluation of indicators to diagnose the agricultural production capacity of the upland field. 12 kinds classified index of producing conditions from the natural environment and eight factors for the cultivation and production capabilities have developed for the assessment of productivity of upland-field (especially Kimchi cabbage). Through this regional imbalance was found, based on the production capabilities conditions are good in Haenam, Gangneung, Pyeongchang. 3 Regions have been low and the lowest Youngwol to 0.8992. Climate(Cultivation conditions) indicators of Mungyeong region is the highest, relatively low areas were in Taebaek. In particular, it is determined to be preferred that the area required for the enhancing the production environment based on providing the convenience for the producing and maintenance of the first production area. It is necessary Increasing part of mechanization, agro-industrial competitiveness through aggressive management plans for facilities as required in the process of post-harvest storage, processing, distribution line can be improved.

임계수준 방법을 이용한 하천수 가뭄지수의 적용 (Application of Streamflow Drought Index using Threshold Level Method)

  • 하천수 가뭄을 평가하기 위하여 임계수준 방법을 이용한 하천수 가뭄지수 (streamflow drought index)를 소개하고 섬진강댐의 유입량을 대상으로 적용하였다. 사용한 임계수준은 고정, 월별 및 일별로써 연도별 가뭄의 1~3순위 분석결과, 1984년, 1988년과 1995년이 수문학적 가뭄의 크기도 컸고 오랫동안 지속되었다. 총 물 부족량과 지속기간의 극한값을 연도별로 비교해 본 바, 1984년, 1988년, 1995년과 2001년에 발생하였던 사상이 심각한 수준이었다. 또한 고정 임계수준은 계절 변동성을 반영하지못하는 단점이 있어서 최소한계절 이하의 임계수준 사용이 요구되었지만 월별과 일별로 정해진 임계수준은 적정한 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법론은 갈수예보 및 저수지 용량결정에 활용될 수 있겠다.

Mapping the Potential Distribution of Raccoon Dog Habitats: Spatial Statistics and Optimized Deep Learning Approaches

  • The conservation of the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) in South Korea requires the protection and preservation of natural habitats while additionally ensuring coexistence with human activities. Applying habitat map modeling techniques provides information regarding the distributional patterns of raccoon dogs and assists in the development of future conservation strategies. The purpose of this study is to generate potential habitat distribution maps for the raccoon dog in South Korea using geospatial technology-based models. These models include the frequency ratio (FR) as a bivariate statistical approach, the group method of data handling (GMDH) as a machine learning algorithm, and convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) as deep learning algorithms. Moreover, the imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA) is used to fine-tune the hyperparameters of the machine learning and deep learning models. Moreover, there are 14 habitat characteristics used for developing the models: elevation, slope, valley depth, topographic wetness index, terrain roughness index, slope height, surface area, slope length and steepness factor (LS factor), normalized difference vegetation index, normalized difference water index, distance to drainage, distance to roads, drainage density, and morphometric features. The accuracy of prediction is evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve. The results indicate comparable performances of all models. However, the CNN demonstrates superior capacity for prediction, achieving accuracies of 76.3% and 75.7% for the training and validation processes, respectively. The maps of potential habitat distribution are generated for five different levels of potentiality: very low, low, moderate, high, and very high.

훼손된 생태계의 복원을 통한 생태계 서비스의 회복: 채탄쓰레기 매립지 복원지의 사례 (Recovery of Ecosystem Service Functions through Ecological Restoration Practice: A Case Study of Coal Mine Spoils, Samcheok, Central Eastern Korea)

  • Ecological restoration is regarded as a major strategy for preventing biodiversity loss and thereby enhancing ecosystem service. This study was performed to evaluate ecosystem service value that the restored ecosystem provides. Ecosystem service was evaluated for provisioning and regulating services. The former service was evaluated by comparing similarities in a viewpoint of floristic composition to the reference site between the restored and the unrestored sites. Species composition of the restored site was found to be more similar to the reference site than that of the unrestored site and thereby restoration practice contributed for enhancing the provisioning service. Regulating service was evaluated based on microclimate control, soil amelioration, and improvement of water holding capacity. The value of ecosystem services in terms of microclimate control, soil amelioration, and improvement of water holding capacity was higher in the restored site than in the unrestored site. In consequence, ecological restoration of coal mine spoils contributed for enhancing the ecosystem service value of the corresponding site and thereby is rewarding the cost invested for restoration.

Experimental Study and Confinement Analysis on RC Stub Columns Strengthened with Circular CFST Under Axial Load

  • As the excellent mechanical performance and easy construction of concrete filled steel tubes (CFST) composite structure, it has the potential to be used to strengthen RC pier columns. Therefore, tests were conducted on 2 reinforcement concrete (RC) stub columns and 9 RC columns strengthened with circular CFST under axial loading. The test results show that the circular CFST strengthening method is effective since the mean bearing capacity of the RC columns is increased at least 3.69 times and the ductility index is significantly improved more than 30%. One of the reasons for enhancement is obvious confinement provided by steel tube besides the additional bearing capacity supplied by the strengthening materials. From the analysis of the enhancement ratio, the strengthening structure has at least an extra 20% amplification except for taking full advantage of the strength of the strengthening material. Through the analysis of confining stress provided by steel tube and the stress-strain relationship of confined concrete, it is found that the strength of the core concrete can be increased by 21-33% and the ultimate strain can be enhanced to beyond $15,000{\mu}{\varepsilon}$.

버섯 첨가가 압출성형 대체육의 품질 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of mushroom composition on the quality characteristics of extruded meat analog)

  • 본 연구는 조직감 및 기능성 면에서 우수한 식물성 대체육의 제조를 위하여 부원료로 버섯을 첨가한 압출성형 대체육의 품질특성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 대체육의 원료는 분리대두단백 50%, 글루텐 40%, 옥수수 전분 10%를 섞은 것을 기본배합(base)으로 하였다. 버섯 첨가함량을 기본배합 대비 0, 4, 8, 12%로 한 총 네개의 시료를 수분함량 55%, 스크루 속도 150 rpm, 바렐 온도를 170℃로 하여 냉각 사출구를 통해 20℃로 사출하였다. 압출성형 후 물리적 특성으로 경도, 탄성, 응집성, 씹힘성과 절단 강도, 조직잔사지수, 보수력을 측정하였고, 화학적 특성으로 수용성 질소지수, 단백질 소화율과 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성을 측정하였다. 버섯 첨가함량이 증가함에 따라 경도, 탄성, 응집성, 씹힘성과 절단강도가 모두 증가하였으며, 조직잔사지수 역시 증가하였다. 반면에, 버섯 첨가함량이 증가할수록 보수력과 수용성 질소지수는 감소하였으며, 단백질 소화율도 다소 감소하였다. DPPH 라디칼 소거활성은 버섯 첨가함량의 증가에 따라 유의적인 증가를 나타내었다. 압출성형 대체육에 버섯의 첨가는 대체육의 조직감을 개선하고 항산화 기능성을 부여하는 유효한 공정임을 확인하였다.

일상생활활동 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 시지각 기능에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Activities of Daily Living(ADL) Training on the Visual Perception Capacity Performance Function of the Stroke)

  • Purpose : The aim of this study was to investigate Activities of Daily Living(ADL) function recovery of repeated measurement of stroke who received ADL training. Method : Twenty stroke patients were treated by ADL program therapy from May to June. All of in twenty stroke patients, 10 stroke patients take part in Occupational Therapy and 10 stroke patients take part in ADL training for 30 min five times a week during four weeks in M- hospital occupational Therapy treatment room, local in Changwon and Geoje. We used two assessment on is Motor Free Visual Perception Test-Third Edition(MVPT-3) for visual perception the other is Modified Barthel Index(MBI) for ADL. Result : First, Visual Short Term Memory(VSTM) score was changed statistical significance OT intervention group than compare with ADL training group(p<.05). Second, Visaul Closure(VC) score was changed statistical significance OT intervention group than compare with ADL training group(p<.05). Third, Spatial Orientation(SO) score was changed statistical significance OT intervention group than compare with ADL training group(p<.05). The fourth Motor Free Visual Perception Test-Third Edition(MVPT-3) score was changed statistical significance OT intervention group than compare with ADL training group(p<.05). The fifth Modified Barthel Index(MBI total) score was changed statistical significance OT intervention group than compare with ADL training group(p<.05). Conclusion : Therefore, ADL training can be on method the visual perception of stroke patients.

자영업자의 창업역량지표와 창업성과의 관계 (The Relationship between Entrepreneurial Competence Index and Entrepreneurial Performance in Small Business)

  • 본 연구는 예비창업가의 성공가능성을 사전 평가하는 창업역량지표의 예측력을 실증하기 위해 실시하였다. 본 연구를 위한 설문은 자영업의 50%이상을 차지하고 있는 음식, 의류, 미용, 커피 업종을 대상으로 단일 시점에서 측정하였다. 총 1,600개의 설문지를 배포 회수하였으며, 회귀분석을 통한 검정을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 실증을 통해 창업역량지표가 창업성과와 관계가 있다는 유의미한 결과를 실증할 수 있었다. 특히 직업만족도에 있어서는 유의미한 결과를 확인할 수 있었으나, 재무적성과의 세부 지표에서는 일부 유의적인 결과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 단일 지표로 구성된 창업역량지표 중에서 항목별로 추가적인 연구가 필요하다는 측면에서 의미를 확인할 수 있다. 정책적 관점에서 보았을 때, 창업가의 창업 성과를 높이기 위한 하나의 방편으로 창업역량지표는 좋은 도구가 될 수 있으며, 창업환경 조성을 위해서 확대 사용하는 것이 필요하다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다. 구체적으로 보았을 때, 측정된 역량지표 중에서 개인적인 특성이나 창업지식과 창업실행 역량, 외부환경 항목은 직업만족도와 밀접한 관련을 확인할 수 있었다. 미용, 음식을 비롯한 자영업종은 자신만의 노하우 또는 기술을 기반으로 하고 있다는 점에서 다른 것보다 실행 역량과 창업환경에 영향을 많이 받을 수 있다는 점에서 기회형 창업과 다른 특성을 보이고 있다고 할 수 있다.

Reliability analysis of strip footing under rainfall using KL-FORM

  • Spatial variability is an inherent uncertainty of soil properties. Current reliability analyses generally incorporate random field theory and Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) when dealing with spatial variability, in which the computational efficiency is a significant challenge. This paper proposes a KL-FORM algorithm to improve the computational efficiency. In the proposed KL-FORM, Karhunen-Loeve (KL) expansion is used for discretizing random fields, and first-order reliability method (FORM) is employed for reliability analysis. The KL expansion and FORM can be used in conjunction, through adopting independent standard normal variables in the discretization of KL expansion as the basic variables in the FORM. To illustrate the effectiveness of this KL-FORM, it is applied to a case study of a strip footing in spatially variable unsaturated soil under rainfall, in which the bearing capacity of the footing is computed by numerical simulation. This case study shows that the KL-FORM is accurate and efficient. The parametric analyses suggest that ignoring the spatial variability of the soil may lead to an underestimation of the reliability index of the footing.
