In recent years, O2O (Online to Offline) services get a lot of attention to improve the trust in online shopping and minimize the inconvenience and the cost burden in offline shopping as the number of consumers, who do not show concern about the purchase platform like online or offline, increases. Even though the services have been getting the spotlight as a strong business platform for next generation commerce, there have been only a few studies on the O2O services. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors which affect the consumer's intention to use location-based O2O services. The study is based on VAM (Value-based Adoption Model) which is able to analyze those factors from the aspects of benefit and sacrifice. We used the partial least squares (PLS) method for empirical analysis, and the result shows that contextual offers, instant connectivity, webrooming and economic efficiency, which fall under the benefit, affect perceived value positively while annoyance and face consciousness, which fall under the sacrifice, do not affect perceived value significantly. In addition, contextual offers and instant connectivity affect trust positively. Location accuracy, which falls under the benefit of location-based O2O service, do not significantly affect perceived value and trust while security risk affects trust and use intention negatively. It appears that trust affects perceived value and use intention positively.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain users' wearable healthcare device adoption using performance expectancy, effort expectancy, the hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2, and to identify the causal relationship between intention to use wearable healthcare device and innovation resistance formed by perceived risks. Design/methodology/approach The research model proposed in this study is based on UTAUT2(Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and MIR(Model of Innovation Resistance). In specific, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation and price value of UTAUT2 and innovation resistance formed by perceived risks of MIR are adopted in our research model. To validate the research model, we carry out the analysis of the survey data using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the hypotheses. Findings According to the empirical analysis results, this study confirms that the performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and price value have significant effects on the intention to use wearable healthcare devices. It also finds that perceived risk affects innovation resistance and in turn, innovation resistance affects the intention to use wearable healthcare devices.

Consumer innovativeness plays a vital role in explaining consumer dynamics, such as adoption, usage, and behavioral intention, in the new world of disruptive online media. This empirical study aimed to examine the importance of consumer innovativeness and digital literacy in the adoption and expansion of new technology-based media services, focusing on OTT services. Extending the theory of adoption of new technologies by innovators to new media environment centered on OTT services, it examines the influence of the four dimensions of motivated consumer innovativeness on OTT service usage. The Korea Media Panel Data of 2019, where overall ICT usage and media consumption of a broad panel of respondents was collected, was used for the analysis. From the data of 10,864 respondents, 4,031 (37.1%) were found to have experience in using OTT services. To clarify the mediating effect of digital literacy on the correlations between cognitive innovativeness of consumers and their use of OTT services, Process Macro Model 4 was used. The bootstrap method was applied to reveal that all four dimensions of consumer innovativeness have a significant indirect effect on new media usage through digital literacy, thus indicating how digital literacy plays an important role in the spread of new digital services in addition to consumer innovativeness. The findings are important in that they can help in the efforts to introduce new technologies to the public and educate them to improve their digital literacy so that they can enjoy the complete experience of using these new digital products.
This study examined the factors influencing the intention to use smartwatches using the integrated model of technology acceptance model (TAM) and innovation diffusion theory (IDT). An online survey was conducted and the data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that the research model had an acceptable fit, and all paths, except for the one from the perceived ease of use to the intention to use, were supported. Regarding paths from IDT to TAM, it was observed that higher the compatibility, the users perceived greater usefulness. Additionally, both observability and trialability influenced the perceived ease of use. However, perceived ease of use affected the intention only through the mediated effect of perceived usefulness. The implication of the study lies on the major focus on the effects of users' perceptions regarding innovative characteristics of smartwatches on the intention to adopt and attempted to increase the explanatory power of the TAM and IDT by combining both.

Indonesia has the largest potential mobile payment (m-payment) market in Southeast Asia. The government has realised this through Government's National Non-Cash Movement to increase its adoption. This is then followed up by advocating its adoption massively. However, for this movement to be a success, ensuring its continued use is critical. Various studies have attempted to contribute to this issue. Incorporating game elements into the application that brings benefits and satisfaction to its user is envisaged as one of the most feasible ways. This study, therefore, sets out to investigate the effects of gamification on the m-payment application, which drive the intention to continued use by employing the Uses dan Gratification Theory (UGT). A total of 826 m-payment users were gathered to be analysed using Structural Equation Modelling. The results show that utilitarian, hedonic and social gratifications have significant effects on the continuance usage intention of m-payment. Theoretically, this study contributes to the literature by showing that gamification applied in the payment significantly affects the m-payment continuance usage intention. Practically, this research informs the m-payment providers to maintain the gamification elements in their applications to ensure their sustainable use. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

Construction industry is considered as one of the oldest industries in the world since human came into being and the need of their own space is realized. All this led to make the world a space of many beautiful constructive ventures. As per the requirements of today's world, every industry is recognizing the need for use and adoption of modern as well as innovative technologies due to their benefits and timely production. Now construction industry has also started adopting the use of modern and innovative technologies during their projects but still the rate of adoption is so slow. From design to completion, construction projects take a lot to manage for which technology based solutions have continuously been proposed. These include Computer Aided Design (CAD), building information modeling (BIM) and cloud computing have been proved to be much successful until now. The construction projects are high budgeted, and direly require timely and successful completion with quality, resource and other constraints. So, the researchers observe the need of more clear and technology based communication between the construction projects and its constructors and other stakeholders is required before and during the construction to take timely precautions for expected issues. This study has analyzed the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology adopting GammaAR, and ARki applications in construction industry. It has been found that both applications are light-weighted, upgradable, provide offline availability and collaborative environment as well as fulfil most of the requirements of the construction industry except the cost. These applications also support different screen size for better visualization and deep understanding. Both applications are analyzed, based on construction's application requirements, usability of AR and ratings of applications user collected from application's platform. The purpose of this research is to provide a detail insight of construction applications which are using AR to facilitate both the future developers and consumers.
Digitalization and digital transformations have metamorphized the face of Financial Inclusion globally, more so, in cash obsessed economies like India. The purpose of our study is to empirically analyze the users' intention to adopt digital payment systems, post Demonetisation, during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The conceptual framework for the study is based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) adoption model with added operationalized constructs of Perceived Risk and Stickiness to use Cash. A total of 326 respondents were surveyed using a pre-tested questionnaire during the Nationwide Lockdown 3.0 in India. These responses were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings of the study revealed that performance expectancy and facilitating conditions directly influence the intention of individuals to use digital payment systems, whereas the effect of perceived ease of use on digital payment systems is mediated through the attitude towards the digital payment systems during COVID-19 pandemic situation. Implications of the proposed adoption model are discussed. This will enable the other developing economies to formulate a digital ecosystem, that is here to stay even after the pandemic.

By entering the information society, the trend of increasing use of the cyber education to deliver high-Quality educational programs is likely to continue. For instance, supported by the government agencies, central officials training institute is expending vast amounts of money for the installation of cyber education programs. However, much of the research that has been done concerns the discrepancy between the potential and the actual use of technology in the field of education and training. The intent of this study was to identify the decision of the adoption of cyber education among national officials who had just peceived the existence the cyber education programs which would be used for their professional training and development, and to investigate the relationships between the Rogers' five attributes of innovation (relative advantage, compatibility, easy of use, observability, trialiability) and their decision of adoption. The results of the study generally concurred with Rogers diffusion of innovation theory revealing that perceived compatibility, easy of use, and observability of cyber education are significant predictors of decision to participate in cyber education.
Objective : This research is focused on understanding the current status of the Health Smart Card already in use in other advanced countries. This research will analyze the current status of the medical institutions Health Smart Card system adoption process and its effects, and provide a basis for future policy decisions for the effective adoption and diffusion of a Health Smart Card system, in the medical field, through the completed research and analysis. Method : This research surveys the domestic, and foreign, status of Health Smart Card usage. The research also presents up-to-date methodology for the evaluation of the effects of medical and health care technology. The research also conducts a survey of the domestic medical institutions that have implemented a Health Smart Card system, and then analyzes the results of the survey. Additionally, the research carried out a survey and analysis of medical institutions with no Health Smart Card system implemented, and considered the factors affecting the diffusion of Health Smart Card systems in considering an effective policy for the introduction and diffusion of such a system. Research Results : Through the study of the methodology of medical and health care information technology in advanced countries, the methodology for assessing Health Smart Card technology has been established, and focuses on 6 aspects. The study on the status of foreign implementation has shown a model for the Health Smart Card system. A survey was conducted on the current status of medical institutions with an implemented Health Smart Card system, and the survey results have been analyzed. Also, factors influencing the adoption of Health Smart Card systems have been analyzed through the survey on those medical institutions that have not implemented a Health Smart Card system. Conclusion : The government must provide institutional measures for sharing medical records by constructing an IT infrastructure at the national level to enable the adoption and diffusion of a Health Smart Card system. Such a network will make connections between medical institutions possible, thus making the diffusion of the Health Smart Card system nationwide. For the successful adoption and diffusion of a Health Smart Card system, a model system development, under a medical record sharing system, should be conducted. Additionally, a regional unit based model should be developed for the model project, as is done in advanced countries, along with the application of such results.

Purpose: This study aims to identify factors affecting the adoption of e-commerce by household businesses in Vietnam's food and beverage industry. Research design, data and methodology: The integrated TAM and TOE frameworks and ten hypotheses were developed to test the relationship between relevant factors. A cross-sectional survey was conducted to collect valid data from 992 respondents who run F&B household businesses in Vietnam. Results: The empirical research results confirm all proposed hypotheses that e-commerce adoption is affected by the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease of use, vendor support partners, social expectancy, competitive pressure, subjective norm, and household resources. Meanwhile, technical readiness, environment readiness, and organization readiness are intermediate variables that influence the implementation of e-commerce in food and beverage distribution. Conclusions: The findings suggest effective orientations to foster the food and beverage e-trading practice for household businesses in developing countries. Accordingly, to encourage private household businesses to adopt e-commerce, it is necessary to focus on improving business resources, technology readiness, environment readiness, and organization readiness through raising awareness of usefulness, benefits, perceived ease of use, and increased support of vendor partners. Future research can focus on improving the efficiency of e-commerce applications in F&B distribution for both household businesses and larger-scale enterprises.
