This study analyzes the stock market reaction of disclosure of technological information using events which are collected in the Korean stock market for the thirteen-year period between January 2002 and December 2014. We find that abnormal return on the disclosure day of full sample firms is positive and statistically significant. However, abnormal return of high R&D intensity subsample is a larger positive number than that of the low one. Using a longer window, it shows that low R&D intensity negatively decreases the long term performance after the adoption of new technological information. The empirical evidence of the studying is expected to serve as a good judging guide-line for the investors.

With the advent of knowledge-based economy and information society, information and telecommunications(IT) industry is reckoned as the crucial sector for the creation and diffusion of technological knowledge. In this study, we analyze the process of 'industrialization of IT'and 'informatization of industries' based on the technology linkage structure, or technological knowledge network. The former is defined as the process whereby IT industry absorbs technological knowledge from other industries to grow as an independent industrial sector. The latter is defined as the process whereby other industries adopt IT technology to enhance productivity and upgrade industrial structure, We employ the R&D stock as a proxy for technological knowledge of respective industries and measure the flow of technological knowledge between industries in terms of I/O relationship. By applying the network analysis, we examine the changing pattern of technology linkage structure of the Korean industry throughout the years from 1983 to 1997. Some policy implications are presented based on the findings from the analysis.

In a day and age when contemporary businesses are transformed, driven by a service-dominance logic and dependent upon IT, we need to understand how firms cope with technological adaptations and how such technological adaptations can lead to service adaptations. Drawing on a framework on technological transitions and an interpretive longitudinal case study of the services provided by a team within a large public IT firm, this article addresses the following questions : How do service transitions come about? Can we distinguish particular patterns in service transition processes? This research unveils how technological and social dimensions mutually constitute each other within development and implementation of service provisioning. The findings show how：(a) IT plays a fundamental role in service provisioning; (b) technological transitions are the necessary but insufficient preconditions for service transitions; and (c) there are attenuation effects when it comes to the move from technology transition to service transition.

Dengue infection is becoming a serious global health threat. Public awareness is a pre-requisite for the successful implementation of dengue prevention programs. The main purpose of this study was to investigate dengue-related information needs and seeking behavior of the general public in Singapore. Some areas covered by this study were: importance of dengue-related information needs, preferred channels for seeking information, and respondents' perceptions of using dengue-related information. A questionnaire was used for data collection and 152 individuals participated in this study. Data analysis showed that the most sought after information concerned: dengue-related medicines, primary symptoms of dengue infection, and different possible treatments. The popular channels for seeking information were: websites of hospitals and other health agencies, the social media, television, and newspapers. Medical staff, such as doctors and nurses, were trusted for providing accurate information. Although credibility of social media was considered low, respondents were using it due to its easy accessibility. The findings of this study will be useful to government health departments in Singapore as well as in other countries suffering from dengue, hospitals, and public welfare agencies involved in public health awareness campaigns.

Technology Analysis is advanced by the development of the analysis of technological information such as technological bibliometric analysis and patent analysis. Also, the advance of technology analysis has led the development of the family of techno-market analysis such as cost-benefit analysis, analysis for new item development, and the valuation of technology and technology business. Technology analysis mostly based on technological information analysis is confronted by new challenges from the development of information science and technology such as text mining.

개인정보 보호법 제2조는 개인식별정보, 비밀정보 및 바이오 정보 등을 개인정보로 정의하고 제29조에서 개인정보에 대한 불법열람 및 유출을 방지하기 위해 적정한 수준의 기술적, 관리적, 물리적 안전조치를 취해야 하는 것으로 명시하고 있다. 정보통신망법 제28조 제1항, 시행규칙 제9조, 방송통신위원회 고시에서도 이에 관해 규정하고 있다. 이를 만족하기 위해서 개인정보의 안전성 확보조치를 취해야 하는 공공기관이나 기업들 등의 주체들이 기술적 조치를 적용하고, 이를 지속적으로 운영하고 관리하기 위해 적극적인 방안을 수립하고 실천해 나갈 것이 요구된다. 기술적 안전성 확보는 개인정보에 대한 암호화, 암호화키에 대한 안전한 관리와 운용, 개인정보 열람에 대한 접근제어와 감사를 제공하는 개인정보 보호수준을 도입함으로써 가능하다. 이 논문에서는 개인정보의 기술적 안전성 조치로서 핵심요소인 개인정보의 암호화에 대해서 다양한 기술을 분석하고자 한다. 이는 개인 정보 보호의 기술방안을 선택하는데 있어 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
