This study aims to grasp invisible yet dynamic systemic structure that influences the general procedure of national R&D investment system in Korea using "system dynamic methods and to suggest policy lever. Various conflicting situations, 'R&D investment paradoxes' in myopia investment and principal-agent problems etc, arise when the government decides R&D investment area and makes indispensable choice. Difficulty in the decision can be amplified due to misalignments among decision on adequate amount of R&D investment ("strategic loop"), R&D system ("structural loop") and acceptance and realization by R&D laboratories and theirs researcher ("efficacy loop"). Results of modeling and simulation of korea national R&D investment system with consideration of three causal loops show the switching pattern dynamically, in which form of technologies shifts from one to another stage like paradigm shift, when the R&D investment reaches a certain stork. R&D investment increases are directly not liked to R&D productivities because of delays and side effects during transition periods between different stages of technology development. Thus, It is necessary to develope strategies in order to enhance efficiency of technological development process by perceiving the switching pattern.
테크놀로지가 교육에 활발하게 도입됨에 따라 수업에 교사가 테크놀로지를 활용할 수 있는 역량을 향상시키기 위하여 Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge(TPACK)이 등장하였다. 테크놀로지의 발달에 따라 TPACK 연구가 활발하게 진행되었다. 이러한 흐름에 발맞추어 김성원과 이영준(2017)은 예비 교사의 수업 전문성 향상을 위한 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한, 김성원과 이영준(2018)의 연구를 통하여 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램을 개선하였다. 본 연구에서는 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램의 개선이 예비 교사의 자아 효능감에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 연구를 위하여 대조군에게는 기존의 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램을 적용하였다. 실험군에게는 개선된 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 사전 검사에서는 두 집단 간의 자아 효능감은 같았다. 사후 검사에서는 실험군이 대조군보다 자신감과 과제 난이도 선호에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이를 통하여 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램의 개선이 예비 교사의 자아 효능감의 세부 영역에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 자아 효능감의 모든 영역에서 향상이 나타나지 않았다. 향후 연구에서는 자기 조절 효능감까지 향상될 수 있도록 교육 프로그램의 개선이 이루어져야 한다.
Corrosion is a natural, inevitable process, and is one of the world's most serious problems. Losses incurred due to corrosion are extremely expensive for society. Several technological strategies have been explored and implemented to address these losses. The use of inhibitors to prevent corrosion is a common and efficient method to reduce corrosion losses. This review covers Al and Al-composite corrosion inhibitors in chloride-containing solutions, because of their popularity in a broad array of industrial applications. A vast number of studies in the literature detail the common tendency of Al and Al-composites with reinforcements to deteriorate. Accordingly, it is worthwhile to employ inhibitors to protect them, as discussed in the present work. The emphasis is on selecting the smartest corrosion inhibitor and evaluating its performance. According to the study, the most commonly used corrosion inhibitors are 1,4-naphthoquinone (NQ), 1,5-naphthalene diol, 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole-5-thiol (ATAT), ammonium tetrathiotungstate, clotrimazole, amoxicillin, antimicrobial and antifungal drugs. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), potentiodynamic (PDP), and weight loss were among the most commonly used modern electrochemical technologies to test inhibitors' efficacy under environmental conditions.

Purpose: The current study focused on work performance of distribution department of AMC (asset management company) industry in China, outlines the challenges faced by distribution employees of Chinese four biggest national AMCs, aiming to enhance the ability of Chinese national AMCs to succeed in the face of external challenges such as economic, social, and technological changes. Research design, data and methodology: This study adopted quantitative methods, questionnaire was collected from 248 general distribution department employees of four national AMCs of China, these employees are from the top 5 developed cities in China, and software Smart PLS 3.0 and SPSS 25 was applied to data analysis. Results: The result of this current study through Smart PLS 3.0 has revealed that the significant effect of affective commitment on contextual performance, affective commitment on task performance, continuance commitment on contextual performance, normative commitment on contextual performance, and effect of continuance commitment on task performance and normative commitment on task performance were found to be non-significant. Conclusions: According to the important role of distribution department, managers in China's national AMCs can leverage the study's findings to enhance organizational commitment among employees of distribution department, and further positively influences distribution department employees' work performance.
Landslides pose significant threats to many countries globally, yet the development and implementation of effective landslide early warning systems (LEWS) remain challenging due to multifaceted complexities spanning scientific, technological, and political domains. Addressing these challenges demands a holistic approach. Technologically, integrating thresholds, such as rainfall thresholds, with real-time data within accessible, open-source software stands as a promising solution for LEWS. This article introduces LandScient_EWS, a PHP-based program tailored to address this need. The software facilitates the comparison of real-time measured data, such as rainfall, with predefined landslide thresholds, enabling precise calculations and graphical representation of real-time landslide advisory levels across diverse spatial scales, including regional, basin, and hillslope levels. To illustrate its efficacy, the program was applied to a case study in Medellin, Colombia, where a rainfall event on August 26, 2008, triggered a shallow landslide. Through pre-defined rainfall intensity and duration thresholds, the software simulated advisory levels during the recorded rainfall event, utilizing data from a rain gauge positioned within a small watershed and a single grid cell (representing a hillslope) within that watershed. By identifying critical conditions that may lead to landslides in real-time scenarios, LandScient_EWS offers a new paradigm for assessing and responding to landslide hazards, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of LEWS. The findings underscore the software's potential to streamline the integration of rainfall thresholds into both existing and future landslide early warning systems.
The e-Book market has rapidly grown as an innovative product which is mixed its traditional and technological characteristics. However, decreasing user resistance to the e-Book is very important to continually keeping up its market growth. Previous studies for user resistance have been studied as a negative barrier for various innovative products with importance of user resistance. Nevertheless, the factors for user' resistance to the e-Book field have not been found out considering both perceived value and switching cost. Especially, both innovative technology and user specifics should be considered when explaining user resistance to adopting e-Books. Thus, the purpose of this study is to understand the process for user resistance to the e-book and find out its antecedents with perceived value and switching cost at the same time. As a result, it appeared that triability, uncertainty and complexity affected perceived value and switching cost. The user-based antecedents like social norm and perceived value increased the effect of self-efficacy. Also, self-efficacy and perceived value decreased user resistance whereas switching cost increase user resistance to the e-Book perspective.
With the advent of communication technologies including electronic collaborative tools and conferencing systems provided over the Internet, virtual collaboration is becoming increasingly common in organizations. Virtual collaboration refers to an environment in which the people working together are interdependent in their tasks, share responsibility for outcomes, are geographically dispersed, and rely on mediated rather than face-to face, communication to produce an outcome. Research suggests that new sets of individual skill, knowledge, and ability (SKAs) are required to perform effectively in today's virtualized workplace, which is labeled as individual virtual competence. It is also argued that use of online social networking sites may influence not only individuals' daily lives but also their capability to manage their work-related relationships in organizations, which in turn leads to better performance. The existing research regarding (1) the relationship between virtual competence and task performance and (2) the relationship between online networking and task performance has been conducted based on different theoretical perspectives so that little is known about how online social networking and virtual competence interplay to predict individuals' task performance. To fill this gap, this study raises the following research questions: (1) What is the individual virtual competence required for better adjustment to the virtual collaboration environment? (2) How does online networking via diverse social network service sites influence individuals' task performance in organizations? (3) How do the joint effects of individual virtual competence and online networking influence task performance? To address these research questions, we first draw on the prior literature and derive four dimensions of individual virtual competence that are related with an individual's self-concept, knowledge and ability. Computer self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to use computer technology broadly. Remotework self-efficacy is defined as the extent to which an individual beliefs in his or her ability to work and perform joint tasks with others in virtual settings. Virtual media skill is defined as the degree of confidence of individuals to function in their work role without face-to-face interactions. Virtual social skill is an individual's skill level in using technologies to communicate in virtual settings to their full potential. It should be noted that the concept of virtual social skill is different from the self-efficacy and captures an individual's cognition-based ability to build social relationships with others in virtual settings. Next, we discuss how online networking influences both individual virtual competence and task performance based on the social network theory and the social learning theory. We argue that online networking may enhance individuals' capability in expanding their social networks with low costs. We also argue that online networking may enable individuals to learn the necessary skills regarding how they use technological functions, communicate with others, and share information and make social relations using the technical functions provided by electronic media, consequently increasing individual virtual competence. To examine the relationships among online networking, virtual competence, and task performance, we developed research models (the mediation, interaction, and additive models, respectively) by integrating the social network theory and the social learning theory. Using data from 112 employees of a virtualized company, we tested the proposed research models. The results of analysis partly support the mediation model in that online social networking positively influences individuals' computer self-efficacy, virtual social skill, and virtual media skill, which are key predictors of individuals' task performance. Furthermore, the results of the analysis partly support the interaction model in that the level of remotework self-efficacy moderates the relationship between online social networking and task performance. The results paint a picture of people adjusting to virtual collaboration that constrains and enables their task performance. This study contributes to research and practice. First, we suggest a shift of research focus to the individual level when examining virtual phenomena and theorize that online social networking can enhance individual virtual competence in some aspects. Second, we replicate and advance the prior competence literature by linking each component of virtual competence and objective task performance. The results of this study provide useful insights into how human resource responsibilities assess employees' weakness and strength when they organize virtualized groups or projects. Furthermore, it provides managers with insights into the kinds of development or training programs that they can engage in with their employees to advance their ability to undertake virtual work.

As we transition into the post-COVID era, economic activities that were stagnant are regaining momentum. In particular, there is a growing trend of technology entrepreneurship driven by the opportunities of digital transformation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. However, entrepreneurship education content is struggling to keep up with the rapid pace of technological change. This study aims to emphasize the importance of entrepreneurship mentoring as a crucial component of entrepreneurship education content that requires adaptation and advancement due to the increasing demand for technology entrepreneurship. This study redefines startup mentoring, which is differentiated from general mentoring, at the present time when the demand for startups, which increases with the declining employment rate, increases, and the development of quality startup education contents and securing professional startup mentors are required. According to the start-up stage, it is divided into preliminary entrepreneurs and early entrepreneurs, and the effect of entrepreneurship knowledge and self-efficacy among start-up mentoring functions on entrepreneurial will and mentoring satisfaction is improved by empirically researching the effects of start-up mentoring functions in the case of initial entrepreneurs as a moderating effect. To confirm the importance of entrepreneurship mentoring effect for. To this end, among the mentoring functions, entrepreneurship knowledge and self-efficacy were set as independent variables, and entrepreneurial will and mentoring satisfaction were set as dependent variables. The research model was designed and hypotheses were established. In addition, empirical analysis was conducted by conducting a questionnaire survey on trainees who received entrepreneurship mentoring education at ICCE Startup School and Opus Startup School. To summarize the results of the empirical analysis, first, among the entrepreneurship mentoring functions, entrepreneurship knowledge and self-efficacy were analyzed to have a significant positive (+) effect on entrepreneurial will. Second, among the entrepreneurship mentoring functions, entrepreneurship knowledge and self-efficacy were analyzed to have a significant positive (+) effect on mentoring satisfaction. Third, it was analyzed that entrepreneurship had no significant moderating effect on entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial will. Fourth, it was analyzed that entrepreneurship had no significant moderating effect on mentoring satisfaction. Fifth, it was found that entrepreneurship had a significant moderating effect between self-efficacy and will to start a business. As a result of the research analysis, the first implication is that the mentoring function in start-up education is analyzed to produce meaningful results for both the initial entrepreneurs and the prospective entrepreneurs in the will to start a business and satisfaction. . Second, it was analyzed that there was no significant relationship between whether a business was started and the mentoring function and effect. However, it was analyzed that the will to start a business through improvement of self-efficacy through mentoring was significantly related to whether or not to start a business. turned out to be helpful. Many start-up education programs currently conducted in Korea educate both early-stage entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs at the same time for reasons such as convenience. However, through the results of this study, even in small-scale entrepreneurship mentoring, it is suggested that customized mentoring through detailed classification such as whether the mentee has started a business can be a method for successful entrepreneurship and high satisfaction of the mentee.
An increasing number of mountaineers are recently creating diverse consumer needs for mountaineering garments, thereby leading to a production of smart mountaineering garments with diverse-functions. Smart mountaineering garments are increasingly adding to comfort and safety, boosting their market size. This study researched on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to examine factors that influence the intention of consumers to purchase buy mountaineering garments. For that purpose, 641 people aged 20-61 years who experienced in mountaineering were surveyed online. An extended TAM was designed by adding new variables such as fashion involvement and garment involvement associated with the characteristics of clothing products to the variables such as self-efficacy sense, technological innovativeness, perceived enjoyment. The findings of the study suggested that self-efficacy sense influenced perceived usefulness, perceived easiness of use, and perceived enjoyment, while garment involvement and fashion involvement influenced the perceived easiness of use and the perceived usefulness, respectively. Also, the perceived easiness of use influenced perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment, while the perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment directly influenced the intention of purchase. Based on the findings of this research, this study seeks to determine factors variables of smart garments purchase intention, and to explore measures to enhance such purchase intention, thereby offering working implications for developing smart mountaineering garments.
This study examines the determinants that affect the continuous intention to use of augmented reality applications by applying the technology acceptance model2(TAM2). A survey was conducted on 241 people, and the main results were derived by performing confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. Presenting the results, it was found that the user's interface, interactivity, and relative advantage of the augmented reality application had a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and technological self-efficacy had a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease. Perceived ease of use had a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and both perceived usefulness and perceived ease had a positive effect on continuous intention to use of augmented reality applications. In future research, it will be necessary to verify the user effect of augmented reality applications by applying the fields of education or games.
