A modular specification is a contract document that specifies the requirements of production, transformation and installation in a modular construction. A problem of the currently used specification is that it does not guarantee the level of performance required by the modular construction and fails to accommodate unique characteristics of each construction because it widely uses the standard specification as it is. This study proposes a specification that reflects the unique feature of modular construction in order to improve the quality of modular construction. Research focuses on the leakage in waterproof and mechanical equipment because it is the area with the highest rate of defects. This study suggests ways to improve the modular specification as follows: 1)Descriptive specifying (following MasterFormat) 2)Propose leakage verification method and test clause 3) Reflect characteristic of modular construction. Proposed modifications to modular specification are reviewed by experts for validation and their opinion verifies suggested improvements as a way to secure the quality of modular construction and to promise characteristics of the modular specification. This improvement will be used for reference when writing construction project specification, which can be an important contract document, so that it could lower occurrence rate of the modular defects.

The study of the compatibility of EPUB DRM, granted by the Korea Copyright Commission, as a CT R & D project (Project Title: The Development of the standard reference software technology for International Standard EPUB-based eBook DRM) developed standards such as profile standards for encryption digital signature and authentication certificates and standards for technical terms of rights information. In 2012, these four standards have been established as the Korean Industrial Standards under the names of 'Encryption specification for EPUB DRM,' 'the Digital signature specification for EPUB DRM,' 'the Certificate specification for EPUB DRM,' and 'Definitions of Right Terms for EPUB DRM' through the ODPF(Open Digital Standardization Forum) and the TTA(Telecommunications Technology Association). The research project also proposed standards of ebook DRM license protocols in order for the four standards to practically apply to ebook DRM compatibility. It is necessary for technology standards to require a compatibility standard test process for testing whether implementations which were developed on the basis of the standard specification, comply with standards. This study suggests an automated compatible standard test method and a test model under the ebook DRM standard technical specification.

We have proposed an Object-linked Broadcasting Service that displays various data related to the object onscreen. In thls paper, we describe the structure of the Object-linked Broadcasting System that will enable our proposal to be realized, and report new techniques that we have developed to create the system. We have carried out the experiment to confirm the system performance as well as execution of each technology assembling the system. We have confirmed that the performance of the system we developed satisfies the proposed specification based on user requirements and current technology.

In these days. a lot of paper are made electronic document using the computer through the spread of computer and internet technology growing up. which is produced in construction project such as form document, report, account, specification and so on. Developed electronic document is distributed energetically through internet. Because existing electronic document is composed of various format, it is difficult that document data is shared and exchanged among the project participating groups in internet. So, it is required that construction-related technical document is made electronic document by standard information system and how to use technical document. Therefore, tins study presents the procedure and method of developing electronic document on technical document using XML technology.

This study is aimed to investigate the application of DITA(Defense Information Technical stAndard) on the weapon information systems and defense management information systems in order not only to update the current DITA version 4.0, but also to develop SoS(System of systems) interoperability policy in the armed forces of Korea. For this study, 18 information systems were considered, their development products(System/Sub-system Specification, Technical architecture View, System Interoperability Test and Evaluation products) were reviewed and analysed. As a result of the investigation and analysis, it was found that the 44% of the DITA standard profiles were used for the development of the defense information systems. We conclude that DITA should be updated to be a minimal set so that all the defense information systems should be DITA-compliant. And it should be reviewed periodically to reflect the new information technology.

Purpose: This study identified the standardization activities from the early stage of acquisition to disposal during the materiel life cycle and proposed the improvement of standardization process. Methods: Through improvement of duplicated deliberation for the revision of military specification, unification of technical change proposal reception organization, and resolution between the conflicting parts of laws and regulations, simplifying the standardization procedure and strengthening linkages between the civilian standards were gained. Results: We have redefined the concept of the standards and standardization in the field of defense and proposed the standards-driven documentary standards as a measurement standards and reference standards to expand the activities. Conclusion: Through a standardization survey, we came to conclusion that we need to change the concept of standardization in the field of national defense from making the specification to using the means of efficient management of military resources.

The statistical approach to quality control aims at alerting its user to any variations in the properties of a manufactured product. Motorola developed and pursued a quality management program called six sigma. The goal of six sigma programs is to improve customer satisfaction through reducing and eliminating defects. six sigma uses several statistical measure to characterize defect levels and process capabilities. The upper and lower specification limits are $\pm6\sigma$(sigma) from nominal, and the process mean is centered at nominal. only 0.002PPM are outside specification limits. Cp=2. this is the design target in a six sigma program. This article presents an important tool available for quality control of a production process at the occurrence of defects in manufactured products at view low levels to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing productivity and to satisfy customer through the reduction of defect rates. To understand the consequences of the level of quality on competitive position, a more technical perspective is needed.

In this paper, we describe issues related to standardized interaction among companies that are in the environments of heterogeneous information systems. The interaction method is detailed based on BPEL4WS, which is XML based standard specification. This paper provides method of interoperability using web service, which is considered a new information system paradigm. The method has importance in that it enables to exchange data in a platform independent manner. This paper deals with a method of interaction among heterogeneous information system based on BPEL4WS standard. The concepts of interoperability, XML, and workflow are introduced. The standards and previous research results related to interoperability are also provided. It describes brief introduction of BPEL4WS specification and its technical details. Integrated business process using BPEL4WS and interoperability issues are also included..

Most of systems engineers make a traceability matrix and attach it to their technical documents as a result of systems engineering activities. I have been working in the field of systems engineering for many years and have been watching traceability matrices created by systems engineers or developers from various companies. I have been thinking that some of them are not suitable in terms of purposes of traceability matrix. In this paper, I would like to suggest a right template for the traceability matrix in conformance to traceability purposes. The key is that traceability matrix should be created from higher level of requirements to current level of requirements.

In case the problem came into the headlight composed of a bulb, lens and reflecting mirror, it has a sealed-beam type which must exchange all and semi-sealed beam type which can exchange only bulb. The headlight of train must be used at the time of going into tunnel and atmospheric phenomena such as heavy snow, rain and foggy as a rule, also it can be used with whistle blow when the dangerous article appears. In this study, general technical specification to improve headlight of the KTX and G7 high speed train is described throughout investigation technique of the industrialized country and headlight specification of train which is on commercial service.
