Purpose: The purpose of this research was to find out factors affecting job stress and job satisfaction of nurses working at the welfare centers. Methods: This study was performed with 140 nurses who were working at or had retired within 1 year from general welfare centers in Seoul during the period from March 29 to February 29 2004. We used a questionnaire asking about general characteristics. work characteristics. stress factors and job satisfaction. We analysed 103 subjects who replied to the questionnaires. Results: The mean job stress level was 2.84 out of 5 and. as for the sub-factors of job stress. income was 4.19, career development 3.69, service environment 3.26 and support system 1.90. The mean job satisfaction level was 3.32 out of 5 and. as for the sub-factors of job satisfaction, job control was 3.58, efficiency of organization 3.27, job burden and responsibility 2.92 and role ambiguity 2.25. When the nurses' job stress was compared according to their general and work characteristics. stress level was significantly high in nurses who had a short experience. were working at the department of senior welfare center. or were the only staff at their workplace (p <0.05). In addition. satisfaction level was significantly high in nurses who were working at the department of senior welfare center and medical welfare team. were the only staff at their workplace or had a heavy work load (p<0.05). According to the results of multiple regression analysis. job stress level was influenced by age ($R^2$=0.212. p<0.01). and job satisfaction level by the number of staffs and work' load ($R^2$=0.272. p<0.1). Conclusions: The results of the study suggest that good atmosphere should be made up to communicate between the departments at the workplace in order to lessen job stress and enhance job satisfaction of nurses working at welfare centers. In addition. role division and job duties among special staffs should be reviewed in order to achieve high efficiency in performing job duties.

The objective of this study is to present the organization and management plan for the new main library in Busan metropolitan city. The characteristics of the Busan Library was defined as follows: stronghold library of Busan, policy and research library, and research hub for Busan studies. The five core functions of the library are to be library policy making, support and collaboration, preservation, information services, and administrative support. In order to fulfill the duties and the roles of the library, it has been suggested to maintain 4 departments along with 1 team including the department of library policy, the department of support and collaboration, the department of information services, the department of administrative support, and the preservation team. It has also been suggested to secure proper number of personnel including 43 staff members for the opening of the library, which consist of 10 administrative staff, 31 librarians and 2 computer specialists. The annual operating budget has been estimated to 4.33 billion won including labor cost (1.53 billion won), acquisitions (.735 billion won) and, other operating cost (2.13 billion won).

As the struggle to get a job becomes increasingly ferocious year after year, the website offering a range of employment information have continued to gain popularity. Those website, however, are not of much help when it comes to an interview to face the interviewer. Furthermore, many people suffer depression due to the heavy stress they are under while making preparations for employment or working for an organization. The current employment website do not have a team of professionals to deal with such issues. In an effort to solve those problems, the present study made arrangements to allow users to put in an enormous amount of employment information based on Google App Engine(GAE) and Google Web Toolkit(GWT) and upload interview videos. In addition, a Q&A board was created to help those who prepare for employment or current workers relieve their stress and provide them with access to a team of counseling professionals.

After the Sewol ferry-sinking incident in 2014, the public interest in safety at sea increased. In order to save and secure the initial response time required for sea rescues, not only the rescue organization, but also the victim needs to save and maintain golden time to secure the necessary time for rescue personnel. The purpose of this study was to investigate ways to maintain the psychological stability of victims during their rescue in the case of a mass rescue operation by using the oil boom installed on board oil spill response vessels. Through buoyancy tests and the development of oil booms in sea areas, it confirmed the buoyancy of two adults weighing 70 kg each per meter of oil boom could be maintained when a lifeline was installed on the side of the oil boom, and that it was possible to keep afloat four persons weighing 70 kg each on both sides of the oil boom. It also confirmed the buoyancy for three adults weighting 70 kg each per eight meters was maintained when riding on the top of the oil boom. As a method of rescue, it was found that the fastest and most accurate way to rescue victims was a rescue boat held at the rear end of the oil boom to lead to victims. In conclusion, the rescue team could utilize the oil boom installed on board the oil spill response vessel located near the marine accident site to save and secure the initial response time required for the rescue team to arrive. The victims in distress holding onto the lifeline or riding on the top of oil boom kept afloat at sea could maintain their psychological stability until the mass rescue operation initiated.
Protection is to maximize the protectee's physical security by minimizing the threats and minimizing the damages caused by the threats. From this point of view, the assassination case of Israel's former Premier Yitzhak Rabin who devoted himself to proceed peace process in Middle East, on November 4, 1995, gives us a lot of lessons on protection. At that time, Israeli society was chaotic with anti-Rabin and anti-government demonstrations which is against Rabin's peace process, and they openly threatened to assassinate Premier Rabin. However, Shin Bet, Israeli Protective Agency, didn't reacted against the assassination threats effectively. Also they have to try to secure friendly public to widen the width of selection in case of crisis and to secure the credibility of the organization. They have to prevent harmful activities in advance by securing wide intelligence networks to collect and analyze various protective intelligences and preparing proper protective countermeasures. Intelligence is a basic element in protection and any protective measures not supported by intelligence activities are not useful and effective. Potential attackers study their target thoroughly and make an elaborate plan before their attack. Advance team is required to conduct security measures on a basis of analysis of vulnerability and threat factors, and close protection team should be prepared for the changing situations with crisis-consciousness. Is security, 100% perfection is not possible. However, Shin Bet failed to analyze and approach to the existing threats. They forgot the fact that security environment reflects social situations. Protection agents should be conscious of the fact that today is different from yesterday. So we have to expect what is not expected when not expected.
This study examines the process of developing and managing parent participation education programs, its performance, and its factor of deriving performance targeted on multi-cultural parents with children in early elementary school. Particularly, opinions of multi-cultural parents were considered and every process of developing and managing the program in this study was reflected. The analysed results were largely divided into three upper categories, which were 'growing as parents', 'forming new multi-culturalism', 'creating support system', and eight sub-categories. In addition, the factors that led to the positive achievement of program were appeared as 'development of active education program', 'organization and operation of parent inclusive program', 'utilization of flexible group structure', 'implementation of close interaction and communication between the members of the development team and the management team'. Based on the following results, we propose development and management process for effective multi-cultural parent education program.

There are many bamboo weir (Juk-Bang-Ryeum) with the highest preservation value as a fisheries heritage from Sacheon to Namhae area in the Korea Hanrye National Marine Park. It was designated as a Korea National Cultural Property Sightseeing No. 71, and also as an important fishery asset listed in the Korea National Important Fisheries Heritage No. 3. It is an important cultural heritage that should be preserved for the future as a community asset to the local residents, and should be preserved as it's original form because of unique traditional fishery style in the world as well as natural environment oriented fishing system. The purpose of this study is to review the value of Juk-Bang-Ryeum in the South Sea as well as to preserve the tradition of it. This paper will make a contribution to the registration of it on the list of World Important Agricultural and Fishery Heritage (GIAHS), which is recognized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). To make basic data for listing on it, we will analyze the characteristics and structure of Juk-Bang-Ryeum, and also research the value of it from the historical literature review as well state of arts. We also develop a scheme for listing on FAO GIAHS through checking necessary items step by step. Finally, we suggest some idea to preserve it more effectively.

Purpose: This study was a part of a drive to develop a community health center-based hospice management model which is concerned with hospice care at a community health care setting and available resources of the local community. Methods: Development of a community health center-based hospice management model involved evaluation of existing hospice-related research, including literature review, and research on hospice facilities at the study site, as well as evaluation of model operation. The latter involved community health center-based hospice test operation, and evaluation of test operation by a research team, including of a nursing professor majoring in hospice care and staffs from a community health center in Busan metropolitan city, regional cancer center, and regional terminal cancer patient medical institute. The study was conducted in the 2008 calendar year. Results: The community health center-based hospice management model provides service linked with local community resources, focusing on the local community health center. Financial and administrative assistance is provided by the regional cancer center, with collaboration from academic health care professionals who guide the operation management. The community health center hospice nurse in consultation with a visiting nurse team registers terminally-ill cancer patients and, after assessment, the hospice team prioritize hospice care during team meeting. Care is delivered by staffs and volunteers. Conclusion: The developed community health center-based hospice operation management model maximally utilizes available community health resources to produce qualitative improvement of regional health and welfare policy through improving the lives of home-based cancer patients and their family who are in medical blind spot.

This study proposes a customized SNS operational strategy for special libraries based on a case study on the Ocean Science Library (OSL) of South Korea. The study conducted an in-depth analysis on an organizational structure, manpower, contents, and promotion. The outcome of SNS operational strategy deducted from this study can be categorized into several items, including: (1) a selection of an appropriate SNS channel, which meets the objective of the operation; (2) a formal division of works for SNS operation; (3) a designation of full-time managers and an establishment of a task force team; (4) a specialization of contents according to specific subjects; (5) on/off-line promotions focused on events, which encourage participations; (6) an improvement of contents through regular log analyses; and (7) a promotion of library website access through SNS, and so on. This research also suggested the strategies for the development of SNS operation: strengthening of communication and cooperation among librarians; distribution of academic and research outcomes of the umbrella organization; enhancement of a role as a communication channel between librarians and users, and carry out a role as a 'social curator.'
While previous studies on Crowd funding mainly focused on the plan and policy of the introduction of Crowd funding, this study classified Investment Decision Making criterion and proposed the significance of each factor, leading to results that can help investors practically. According to the analysis, (1) physical resource in business is the most important criterion to be considered as the way for investor to objectively make decisions on business model, (2) although people pay attention to the managerial capabilities of business, the creativity of business model is not being paid much attention. The result of this study can objectively determine investment decision making on business model thought a quantitative standard of judgment. Moreover, an environment should be built for healthy decision making which is based on business model instead of only product, and it is necessary to have institutional framework to enable new companies to have healthy competition with existing companies through creative business model.
