  • Many corporations are accepting various kinds of business reform techniques to be adapted and overcome in this e-Business period. Among these techniques, team-organization is selected most in person/organization field. The introduction of team-organization is more needed and spread, so many corporations actually constructed team-organization formation form. But the result has not been active. Therefore after team-organization is introduced to improve the performance evaluation of team management, the result of team management performance should be correctly measured to find out and settle the problems of team-organization. The purpose of this research presents the development of the model of team-management performance evaluation and the method of the proper measurement based on BSC.

  • Concurrent Engineering is one of the information-based product development approach. Yet, the method of organizing the project team for the concurrent engineering is not clear. This study focuses on deriving a method to organize an information-based project team. The model consists of 4 layers : IT infrastructure, organization of the information-based project team, operation of the project team, an organization culture. Based on an analysis of new product development case, this study attempts to verify the model and to suggest more effective way of organization design and management for new product development.

The Effects of Project based Action Learning in Web-based SMEs : ALPACO Case

  • How can action learning program promote organizational learning performance and especially project based team performance in Web-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)? This article discusses the association between project based team in action learning program and the performance of Web-based SME to be learning organization. In the case of ALPACO, action learning program that promote employee communication behavior, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning are found to be positively associated with the project based team performance and organizational learning, The results indicate that action learning program in SMEs indeed associated with greater knowledge sharing, learning communication skills and changing organizational culture. Learning organization can be, in turn, positively developed by project based team through action learning program for creating competitive advantage, Also, this study offers further support for the practical perspective on learning organization performance. The evidence from this case study suggests that the project team in action learning program playa significant role in team performance and the development of learning organization of the firm. Therefore, in the future, Web-based SMEs should consider making investments in action learning program that encourage project team's effective management in decision making, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning.

A Study on the Evaluation of Team Effectiveness in University Libraries (대학도서관 팀제의 유효성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • According to the changing of user and service environment, one of countermeasures that introduction of team-based organization is increasing gradually in the university library. This study was conducted to suggest the efficient ways of assessing team effectiveness which is increasing gradually in the university library. The finding indicated that assessment of team effectiveness was shown large differences according to the working level and individual's working duration. In addition, activated communication and capacity of team-based organization were the most effectible factors on the team effectiveness. So that, for maximizing the team effectiveness, this study might be applicable to any strategy which seek to activate communication methods(within - and between team) those are directly effecting on purpose setting, conflict resolution and suggest suitable team-based organization model for University library's characteristic and purpose through improving on the capacity of team system.

  • In recent years, organizations have chosen a team-organization as a standard activity level and it leads a significant change in process of knowledge producing. Nevertheless team-organization for building up effective performance and a good communication in organization has influenced knowledge management performance, the empirical analysis and survey have not proved yet. This study, therefore, makes an analysis that the change of organization base on team activity influences knowledge management performance. This study, based on 312 data by using LISREL as a model for studying, provides a result that a team-based activity positively influences knowledge management efficiency.

  • Since 1990's, many enterprises have implemented ERP System. Especially, they want to become an advanced company use ERP implementation. Already, ERP system come to high level which is stabilized and support independent business process of many industry sectors. Although most companies had previous good plans, but those are not satisfied. Because of failed to change management and had many problem about Project team operation. Therefore, important success factors for ERP project are change management and organization activation for Project team. The purpose of this study is suggest to improve method about team activation through analysis the Project team member's individual personality as a factor that makes the success of Project team. This paper studied success factors of project team and plan for organization activation. The results of this study can be used for a successful implementation of the ERP system as make of Project team consider of individual personality and administer a Project team.

  • This paper deals with the method how to organize a team that is effective for developing teamwork skills. In recent engineering education, classes requiring team activities are getting a lot according to the increase of the engineering design classes and PBL based teaching subjects. For an effective team activity, team organization is very important because the team has to have the enough man-power to perform the task need to be completed. Nevertheless, most of all classes that need team activities, team organization is considered a little. Thus, we could see the problems such as the conflict between team members and the lack of technical ability. To overcome the problems, we proposed MBTI based team organizing method that may improve teamwork skills of students.

  • This study is to analyze the tea organization introduced lately to many university and college libraries in Korea. First, it investigates the background many libraries in Korea have introduced or consider to introduce the organization. And then it reanalyzes the concept, characteristics, and types of the team organization with a special regard to libraries. Finally, it investigates the current status of the organization in Korean university and college libraries based on some selected examples, and suggests some major anticipated problems and obstacles and possible actions to cope with them.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the success factors of ERP system in corporations and to know what is different in the factors depending on organizational culture and size. Considering there are various results from introduction of the same information technology(IT), it is implied that organizational characteristics make a difference. In this thesis we did factor analysis and multiple regression about the factors based on the previous studies and analyzed the priorities depending on organizational culture and size. The results show that mechanistic organization has key success factors of work process change, project team abilities, and determination of CEO while organic organization has those of work process change and project team abilities. Plus bigger sized organization has success factors of work process change, project team abilities, and determination of CEO while small sized organization has those of work process change and project team abilities.

The Problems and Solutions of the Team System of University Libraries in Korea (한국의 대학도서관 팀제의 문제점과 개선방안)

  • This study was conducted to find out how the team organization works and to suggest better ways of applying the team system to a library organization. In this study, the survey was conducted to examine the characteristics of the university libraries that have adopted the team system, and the problems in operation were analysed. The findings indicate that staffs at the university libraries had a comparatively negative image of the team system, and that university library has provided insufficient training and less supports for their staffs in the process of adopting the system. This study might be applicable to any strategy which seeks to reduce bureaucracy, empower staff, create a team system culture. and enhance the delivery of high qualify services.
