INFLUENCE OF LEADER ON ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING IN CONSTRUCTION TEAMS

  • Organizational learning of construction team has been long addressed in the literatures, but the mechanism of learning and the influence of leader in the team still remain vague. This paper presents a computational model (OLT) depicting the mechanism and the influence of leader in a systemic way. The OLT model is a multi-agent system based on some eloquent propositions proposed in previous researches. The proposed model is preliminarily validated by some toy-problem simulations. In the OLT model, the leader is assigned as a project manager. The results show that a proper leader can effectively improve the learning process and the result-in performance, in which the team learning is mainly affected by both the leader and the majority in a team. Based on our findings, two propositions are concluded accordingly: (1) Learning of a team would be enhanced if a proper leader is assigned; (2) The effectiveness of learning would increase in a team, in which the members retain explorative attitudes.

Examining the Relationship among Organizational Justice, Athlete Satisfaction, Team Commitment, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in College Athletes

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship among organizational justice, athlete satisfaction, team commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior toward college athletes. To achieve this purpose, this study employed a convenience sampling method via a questionnaire dissemination. A total of 285 responses were collected from college athletes. Among those, 21 responses were excluded as they were not completed, leaving 264 usable data. The data was computed in SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 28.0, and analyzed with correlation analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling analysis. Overall, organizational justice had a positive influence on athlete satisfaction, team commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior. Athlete satisfaction had a positive influence on team commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. However, there was no relationship between team commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. These findings provided empirical foundational data on the impact of organizational justice on psychological and behavioral outcomes and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, with a focus on college athletes who played a central role in the context of college sports setting.

리더와 구성원의 리더십 이중주: 팀에서 리더의 변혁적 리더십과 구성원의 변혁적 리더십의 상호작용 (A Duet of Leadership by Leader and Member: The Synergy Effects of Leader Transformational Leadership and Transformational Leadership Shared by Members on Team Effectiveness)

  • The present study examines the effects of transformational leadership exercised by team leader and transformational leadership shared by team members on team creativity and team performance at the team level. A growing body on leadership research highlights the role of team leadership in work organizations. In team settings, studies have focused exclusively on individual leaders who occupy formal leadership positions and exercise vertical influence over team members. In contrast to this traditional approach, shared leadership highlights a horizontal influence process where leadership is collectively carried out by team members. In this shared form of leadership, members actively participate in the leadership process and horizontally influence other team members. This mutual influence among team members constitutes a critical condition for the success of team-based organizations. The ability of team members to work together as a team is the key to the overall functioning of the team organization. To verify the effect of two leadership styles, we analyze the effect of a leader's transformational leadership and members' shared transformational leadership on team creativity and team performance for the same team. This study also predicts that the transformational leadership shared by members will moderate the effects of leader transformational leadership on team performance and creativity. Our findings show that both leaderships have a positive effect on team performance. However, the main effect of a leader's transformational leadership on team creativity is not significant when members' transformational leadership is employed into the model. With the effect of leader transformational leadership controlled for, the main effects of the transformational leadership shared by members on team creativity and performance are significant. In addition, we also found the significant moderation effects of member transformational leadership by leader transformational leadership on team creativity. Based on these findings, we strongly recommend that team based organizations shift the leadership focus from the leader focused leadership model to the shared leadership model. We also discuss managerial implications of our findings in details.

간호학생의 팀기반학습에서 공유리더십이 팀성과 및 팀몰입에 미치는 영향: 팀신뢰의 매개효과 (The Effects of Shared Leadership on Team Performance and Team Commitment of Team-Based Learning in Nursing Students: Mediating Effects of Team Trust)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생의 팀기반학습(TBL)에서 공유리더십이 팀성과 및 팀몰입에 미치는 영향과 이들의 관계에서 팀신뢰의 매개효과를 확인하기 위하여 시도되었다. 연구대상은 2016년 1학기 6주 동안 팀기반학습에 참여한 99명의 간호대학생이었으며, 2016년 6월 자기기입식 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 공유리더십과 팀성과, 팀몰입, 팀신뢰 간 모두 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 공유리더십은 팀성과와 팀몰입에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또 팀신뢰는 공유리더십과 팀몰입과의 관계를 부분 매개하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 팀기반학습에서 공유리더십은 팀성과와 팀몰입을 향상시키는데 매우 중요한 요인이며, 팀신뢰를 통하여 팀몰입에 미치는 영향이 달라질 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 대학 내 팀기반학습 시 팀효과성을 높이기 위해서는 공유리더십과 팀신뢰를 높여야할 필요가 있다.

EMP 방호시설의 전자파 차폐효과 측정 방법 (Electromagnetic Wave Shielding Effectiveness Measurement Method of EMP Protection Facility)

  • 현재 EMP(Electromagnetic Pulse) 방호시설의 차폐효과 성능 평가를 위해 적용하고 있는 규격들에서는 통상적으로 송신안테나를 시설 외부에 배치하고, 수신안테나를 시설 내부에 배치하여 차폐효과(Shielding Effectiveness: SE)를 측정하도록 규정하고 있다. 하지만 차폐효과 측정 시 방호시설과 외부 콘크리트 구조물 사이에 충분한 공간을 확보하지 못하는 경우, 차폐효과 측정이 불가능하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 송신안테나를 EMP 방호시설 내부에 배치하여 전자파의 차폐효과를 측정할 수 있는 시험방법을 찾기 위해 다양한 시험을 수행하였다. 차폐효과 측정 시 송수신 안테나의 위치에 따른 영향을 비교 분석하기 위해 송신안테나를 EMP 방호시설 내부에 배치하여 차폐효과를 측정한 결과, 외부에 배치했을 때보다 시험주파수 영역 10 kHz~1 GHz에서 전체적으로 평균 ${\pm}4$ dB 수준의 차이가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.

현대적 리더십 연구의 특징과 공유리더십의 팀 효과성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Emerging Leadership Researches and the Team Effectiveness of Shared Leadership)

  • 본 연구는 먼저, 새천년 이후의 리더십 관련 연구들을 이론적으로 분석하여 현대리더십 이론 연구의 두 가지 특징을 제시하였다. 첫째는 대부분의 이론들이 변혁적리더십 이론과의 중복성이 높다는 점이고, 둘째는 공유/분산적리더십을 중심으로 한 수평적 리더십 연구의 발전이다. 다음으로, 본 연구에서는 공유/분산적리더십 이론의 효과성을 선행연구를 기초로 분석하고, 공유/분산적리더십이 구성원의 성과인식과 팀 혁신행동에 미치는 영향을 실증분석 하였다. 그 결과, 공유/분산적리더십이 구성원의 성과인식과 팀 혁신행동에 유의적 영향을 미친다는 것을 검증하였다. 그러나 경쟁지향문화의 조절효과 검증에서는 공유/분산적리더십과 구성원의 성과인식 사이에 경쟁지향문화의 조절효과가 검증되지 않았다. 그것은 한국기업의 경우, 경쟁지향문화 속에서는 공유/분산적 리더십의 효과가 구성원의 성과인식을 조절하지 못한다는 것이다. 기업의 문화적 가치에 따라 그 성과에는 차이가 날 수 있다는 점을 시사한다.

재가 노인을 위한 사례관리 서비스의 효과성 연구 - 팀접근 모델을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effectiveness of Team Approach In Case Management Service for the Elderly in Puchon : A Pretest-Posttest Study)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 복합하고 다양한 문제를 가지고 있는 재가노인의 욕구충족을 위해 사례관리 서비스를 제공하고 그 효과성을 검증하는데 있다. 본 연구에서 사용한 사례관리모델은 팀접근 모델이며, 이는 사례관리팀을 이루어 그 안에서 수퍼비전을 제공하고, 인력활용이 이루어지는 형태이다. 수퍼비전은 지역 사회 내에서 활동하는 전문가들로 조직된 팀에서 제공하고, 서비스는 주요사례관리자와 준전문가로 구성된 활동가팀에서 담당하였다. 준전문가는 1주일에 한 번 노인클라이언트의 가정에 방문하여 노인의 상황을 모니터링 하였으며, 주요사례관리자는 상담 제공과 지역사회 자원을 연결하였다. 비동일 통제집단설계를 사용해 6개월간 제공된 팀접근 사례관리 서비스의 효과성을 검증하였는데, 사용된 도구는 삶의 질과 삶의 만족도였다. 실험집단 노인 30명에게 사례관리 서비스를 실시한 결과 삶의 질과 삶의 만족도는 부분적으로 사전사후 점수간에 유의미한 차이를 보여 팀접근 사례관리 서비스의 효과성이 입증되었다. 비교집단의 노인 28명은 일상적인 재가복지서비스를 받게 하였으며, 사전사후 점수간에 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않아 팀접근 사례관리 서비스는 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

Suggestion and Application of Emergency Simulation Educatin using Real-time Video Observation for Inactive Nurses

  • This study is a pilot study to confirm the effectiveness of training after applying emergency simulation training for inactive nurses and to present a new model of simulation training operation method. In this study, the control group is a group that directly participates in the simulation activity, and the experimental group is the group that observes the control group's simulation activity. Experimental group and control group were matched 1:1 to experience all the roles of the resuscitation team. The study participants were 5 inactive nurses in the experimental group and 5 inactive nurses in the control group, and the total training time was 5 hours. The emergency simulation operation composition consists of theory education, skill education, and simulation. The interview was conducted. The educational satisfaction of the participants was 4.65 points for theory education and 4.70 points for practical education based on 5 points. Participants' performance confidence improved from 3.60 points before operation to 7.20 points after operation. Emergency simulation operation consisted of pre-test, theory education, skill education, simulation implementation, debriefing, and post-test. Participants expressed that the choice of group greatly reduced the burden and anxiety about performing the role of the resuscitation team. However, difficulties and inexperience in the operation of the defibrillator were reported in the experimental group. The control group reported that the simulation activity of the experimental group was not significantly different from theirs. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that emergency simulation education not only reduced the burden and anxiety of inactive nurses, but also had an effect of education. Based on the research results, it is proposed to expand the participants and verify the effectiveness of education through specific variables such as learning commitment, learner confidence, simulation satisfaction, and team effectiveness.

WHO-CHOICE 프로그램: 건강증진정책의 비용효과분석 도구 (The Cost Effectiveness Analysis of Health Promotion Policy: WHO-CHOICE Programme)

  • Objectives: Objectives: The objective of this study is to describe the WHO-CHOICE(World Health Organization- CHOosing Interventions that are Cost-Effective) programme, and to consider the application of WHO-CHOICE programme in Korea, especially on the health promotion policy. Methods: Literature review was conducted on the contents of WHO-CHOICE programme in the previous studies, guidebook, and software. We also contacted WHO-CHOICE team at WHO to identify the contents not clearly presented in the documents. Results: The WHO-CHOICE programme is a standardized tool for analyzing and comparing the cost effectiveness of health promotion policies. It is composed of PopMod to measure the health effect of intervention and of CostIt to measure the cost. The cost of tobacco control policy in Korea was analyzed with the cooperation of WHO-CHOICE team preliminary, and the results were different with the results of tobacco control policy on western pacific region of WHO. Conclusions: The cost effectiveness study based on WHO-CHOICE programme could help decide a priority of health promotion policy for settings with limited resources. For the improvement of health, the future work on WHO-CHOICE programme need to be considered.

유아조리교육의 동기 및 교육내용의 고려사항에 따른 교육효과에 대한 연구: 교사의 인지를 중심으로 하여 (Teacher's Perception of Children Culinary Education Effectiveness by the Education's Motive and Contents Consideration)

  • This study aimed to investigate the impacts of children's culinary education motive and contents consideration on teachers perception of education effectiveness. The data was gathered from 226 of preschool teachers providing culinary education programs using the five-Likert scales. The preschools were chosen from three randomly selected districts in Seoul, South Korea. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were utilized for this study. The result indicate that culinary educators designed the contents of the program considering their convenience when their motive is passive, whereas others focussed on the educational purpose such as children's eating habit formulation, team work, and development of taste sense when their motive is active. The result also confirmed that culinary educators perceived the educational effectiveness (e.g., children's development of body, team work, and creativeness) in the course of designing culinary education contents when focusing on children's education.
