The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs and demands of middle-aged women concerning the educational contents of tea-culture, the managing methods of educational programs, and a plan to invigorate tea culture education as a whole. Here is the summary of the main results. 1) The need for tea-culture education scored an average of 4.14 / 5(maximum score). The actual needs for tea-culture education had varied according to the women's place of living, educational motives, and the desire to become lecturers in the future. That is, the actual needs for tea-culture education scored high among the groups who displayed strong personal motives to cultivate their inner minds and learn tea-culture seriously, groups who lived in Seoul${\cdot}$Taegu${\cdot}$Cheonju, and groups who wanted to become future lecturers. 2) The need for a systematic management of tea-culture educational programs scored an average of 4.10 / 5(maximum score). The need for a management of tea-culture educational programs varied according to the women's educational level and their desire to become future lecturers. That is, the need for a systematic management of tea-culture educational programs scored high among groups whose educational level was high, and groups who wanted to become future lecturers. 3) The need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education scored an average of 4.05 / 5(maximum score). The need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education varied according to the women's place of living, educational level, the managing subject of educational organizations, the desire to become future lecturers. That is, the need for a plan to invigorate tea-culture education scored high among the groups who lived in Seoul${\cdot}$Taegu${\cdot}$Cheonju, groups whose educational level was high, groups who were members of life-long educational facilities within universities, and groups who desired to become future lecturers.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of research system and contents of thesis which was published with a theme of child tea ceremony education. Under this purpose we have searched the thesis related to the child tea ceremony education which was in the data base of the National Assembly Library, the National Library of Korea, Korea Education & Research Information Service and we have collected total of 22 analyzing subject data. The major results of this study are as followings: First, after analyzing the research system, the release year of child tea ceremony education study which was published from year 2000 to 2009 are shown as followings, 1 unit in year 2000, 2 units in year 2001, 2002 & 2003, 4 units in year 2004, 5 units in year 2005, 2 units in year 2006, 1 unit in year 2007, 2 units in year 2008, 1 unit in year 2009. The publishing type were 14 units of master's degree thesis, 6 units of academic journal, 2 units of doctor's degree thesis. The academic area of researchers are 8 units of propriety and tea culture, 5 units of early childhood education, 5 units of child welfare, 2 units of family culture and consumer, 1 each unit of counseling psychology and korean culture. As per the research method there were 15 units of experimental study, 6 units of reference research, and 1 unit of thesis which adopts both interview and case study. Second, as a result of analyzing the research contents, the goal of child tea ceremony education was shown to be a holistic child growth and development, a formation of basic living habit, a development of pride on traditional culture and an establishment of national identity. The contents of child tea ceremony education has been classified into 57 items. The activity of child tea ceremony education has been classified into 34 items. The vitalizations of child tea ceremony education is shown to be a education for parents and teachers, a development of systematic educational program, durability of child tea ceremony education, and a verification of effectiveness of child tea ceremony education.

The purpose of this study was to help children with poor learning capacity to enhance their sense of self-efficacy by providing them the tea-culture education program. It had been executed for the target participants of 11 in 2012, 19 in 2013 and 24 in 2014 respectively during 3 years the participants who were recruited by 00 District office Dream start. The scores of pretest and posttest for the item of self-efficacy by gender did not show a significant meaning in 2012, while the scores of self-efficacy of female students were identified as higher than those of male students in 2013 and 2014. As the result of applying the tea-culture education program, there was no meaningful difference in the item of social self-efficacy among the sub-components of typical self-efficacy in 2013, but all has been revealed as improved in 2012, 2013, and 2014 including sub-variables such as learning self-efficacy, social self-efficacy and emotional self-efficacy as well as the general self-efficacy. Thus, the results of this investigation show that the tea-culture education program were effective in developing the self-efficacy of learning maladjusted children.
This study was conducted to foster domestic tea (茶) culture as a single cultural content containing domestic culture, to increase domestic cultural competitiveness, and to suggest new cultural sanctions in the content era. Given the growth of the contents industry and the flow of domestic culture, cultural contents represented by the "Hallyu" of today do not exist at present, so it seems the time to move to keep pace with the times through the development of more Korean contents. Accordingly, this researcher has shed light on Korean tea (茶) culture, and reviewed the case of China, which is known as the origin of tea (茶) culture, and suggested a strategy for content creation of domestic tea (茶) culture. For this, the most prerequisite is to identify the identity and value of the domestic tea (茶) culture, and then expand education on tea (茶) culture and diversify the profit structure to serve as Korean cultural contents (茶) It suggested that the rediscovery of culture should be made.
The purpose of this study is to develop a personality education tea culture therapy program to effectively improve juvenile delinquency prevention and social adaptation. In order to verify the effectiveness of the tea culture therapy program through social intervention, we analyzed whether there were significant differences in the scores of social characteristics such as self-efficacy, self-control, and interpersonal relationships of juvenile detention students before and after participating in the program. Ten juvenile detention students between the ages of 14 and 17 who were accommodated to a juvenile detention center in B city were selected as the experimental group for the study. The tea culture therapy program was conducted 10 times as a social intervention personality education for juvenile delinquents, and as a result, self-efficacy was found to have a pre-mean of 2.37 (SD 0.33) and a post-mean of 2.49 (SD 0.31), showing a significant difference (Z=-5.874. P=.000), self-control showed a significant difference with the pre-mean 2.06 (SD 0.20) and the post-mean of 2.16 (SD 0.19) (Z=-4.743, P=.001). The interpersonal relationship was found to have a significant difference, with a pre-mean of 1.90 (SD 0.32) and a post-mean of 2.15 (SD 0.21) (Z=-5.892, P=.000). The above results show that this program has a significant effect on improving social characteristics such as self-efficacy, self-control, and interpersonal relationships among juvenile detention students. Therefore, the tea culture therapy program developed in this study for personality education for juveniles can be used as a personality education program for various types of adolescents as well as in the field of correctional welfare in the future.
The division of the South and North of 70 years has occurred in the old generation, but the reunification is now handled by the youth generation. Therefore, it is necessary to train basic human nature as well as learning and research of rational political and economic theory in order for young adolescents as leaders in the unification era to carry out their own duties faithfully and responsibly. In this paper, I rediscover the value of traditional culture in the human nature education that aims for reunification, social and cultural integration, and propose tea culture as contents that can be applied to reunification and the human nature education of youth as reunification culture contents as a concrete program of traditional culture do.

This study which is based on the Master's and Doctor's theses printed from the Korean liberation day to 2003. It has been carried out to research the trends of tea culture in Korea, by analyzing the current printing situations on the kinds of degrees, the chronicles of theses and tea culture. It has found out that the total number of the theses was 276, which of them were for a master's degree, up to $232(84\%)$. As for the printing time, it increased in the mids of 1990s and soared up sharply in 2003. For the fields, the theses on the efficacy of tea printed 178, which reached $64.4\%$, 148 of them were on the medical and pharmacological view and reached $83\%$. For the cultural view, the theses on reached only $6.9\%$. Recently, the theses on the marketing or the education of Da-do haven been increasing sharply.
This study investigated elementary school students' perception, preferences, and intake of Korean traditional foods, focusing specifically on kimchi, tteok (rice cake), and eumcheong (beverage) varieties; and compared them by gender, living with grandparents, mother's occupation, and meal preparation by the grandmother. The subjects were 287 6th grade elementary school students in Busan. The results were as follows: 80% of children were interested in Korean traditional foods. 40% believed that their intake of Korean traditional foods was decreasing because these foods were not palatable to them. The majority of them, however, said they would continue to eat Korean traditional foods as they had done (54.7%) or eat more than before (36.6%) in the future. The children thought that Korean traditional foods were rich in nutrition and good for their health. The children had the highest preference for Baechu-kimchi among varieties of kimchi, and they had high preferences for Songpyeon, Galaitteok, and Injulmi. They had high preferences for Sikhye, citron tea, and adlai tea. Over 80% reported consuming Baechu-kimchi and Kkakdugi three to four times per week. They had eaten Injulmi the most frequently among the tteoks, while over 80% had eaten the other types of tteok only once or twice per month. Adlai tea, citron tea, and Sikhye were drunk more than once per week. In general, we noted no significant differences in the children's perceptions, preferences, and intake of Korean traditional foods by gender, living with grandparents, mother's occupation, and meal preparation by grandmother, with the exception of several items. The students had a very positive perception of Korean traditional foods. They had higher preferences for and had more frequently consumed the more familiar Korean traditional foods. It is therefore suggested that if the children had opportunities to experience Korean traditional foods more frequently and variously at home or in restaurants, they would appreciate Korean traditional foods even more, and develop higher preferences for these foods.
The antidepressant effects of Cirsium japonicum was revealed in previous studies using open field test and forced swimming test. The contents of total flavonoids and apigenin of Cirsium japonicum were analyzed and sensory evaluation of Cirsium japonicum tea was performed in order to develop Cirsium japonicum tea as an antidepressant. Among the different plant parts of Cirsium japonicum, leaves had the highest level of total flavonoids and apigenin contents and were followed by flowers and stems. Drying method affected total flavonoids and apigenin content of Cirsium japonicum, but regular pattern was not revealed. In sensory evaluation, overall acceptance of Cirsium japonicum flower-leaf mix tea was higher than those of Cirsium japonicum leaf tea. Also purchase intention of Cirsium japonicum flower-leaf mix tea was higher than those of Cirsium japonicum leaf tea.
This study was performed to investigate the perception and the preference of Korean traditional foods such as traditional holiday foods, rice cakes and beverages. The subjects were 598 elementary school students(male 310, female 288) in fifth or sixth grades. The most favorite traditional holiday food was rice cake soup(57.4%) and 92.4% of subjects wanted to keep the traditional holiday foods because of the traditional custom. The traditional beverages mainly drinking at home were sikhye(35.6%), misugalou(30.2%), green tea(18.5%), etc. Children's most favorite beverage was misugalou(90.5%) and they had no taste for ginseng tea(39.6%). Children did not know well about booggumi(64.1%), dootubdduk(63.3%), whajun(39.6%), etc. and liked gguldduk(94.2%) better than the others. They liked the rice cake because of its good taste(69.0%) and disliked it because of chocking(30.9%), not eating frequently(29.5%), hard and tough(18.2%), and so on. And they wanted to make the rice cake softer and sweeter like the cake and mostly ate it on the traditional holidays.
