  • The conventional three-level high frequency phase-shifted dc/dc converter has a disadvantage that a circulating current flows through transformer and switching devices during the freewheeling interval. Due In this circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. To alleviate these problems, we propose an improved three-level Zero Voltage and Zero Current Switching (ZVZCS) dc/dc converter using a tapped inductor, a snubber capacitor and two snubber diodes attached at the secondary side of transformer The proposed ZVZCS converter is verified on a 7kW, 30kHz experimental prototype.

  • This paper presents m improved soft switching Buck converter using an energy recovery snubber which is composed of a tapped inductor, two snubber capacitors and three snubber diodes. The proposed Buck converter achieves zero voltage turn-of in the main power switch md freewheeling diode. The operating Principle of the Proposed Buck converter is described through the simulation, relevant equation and analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 탭 인덕터 부스트 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 컨버터는 탭인덕터를 적용함으로써 권선비에 따른 시비율을 조절 할 수 있어 극단적인 승압시에도 부스트 컨버터의 도통율을 적절히 유지할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 탭인덕터 부스트 컨버터 사용에 따른 효율 향상도를 예측할 수 있도록 손실을 분석 하였다. 제안하는 컨버터는 정상상태 연속모드(CCM)에서의 동작특성을 분석하였으며, 60W급 하드웨어 프로토 타입을 이용하여 효율을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문은 고승압 컨버터의 고밀도화를 위해 Boundary Conduction Mode(BCM)로 동작하는 고주파 전압 클램프 탭 인덕터 부스트 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 모든 반도체 소자가 특정 전압에 클램프 되므로 기존 고승압 탭 인덕터 부스트 컨버터에 비해 손실 스너버가 없어 고효율에 유리하고 전압 스트레스가 낮은 장점을 갖는다. 또한 BCM 동작으로 인해 영전압 스위칭이 보장될 뿐만 아니라 전압 클램프 탭 인덕터에 의해 다이오드 역회복 문제를 해결할 수 있어 1MHz의 고주파 구동이 가능하다. 따라서 전원회로에서 큰 부피를 차지하는 리액티브 소자의 사이즈를 대폭 감소시킬 수 있어 고밀도 전원회로의 구현이 가능한 강점을 갖는다. 제안 회로의 타당성 검증을 위하여 이론적인 분석과 LED TV Backlight 구동용 20W급 시작품의 실험 결과를 제시한다.

  • A swing level controlled voltage-mode transmitter is proposed to support a stub series-terminated logic channel with center-tapped termination. This transmitter provides a swing level control to support the diagnostic mode and improve the signal integrity in the absence of the destination termination. By using the variable parallel termination, the proposed transmitter maintains the constant output impedance of the source termination while the swing level is controlled. Also, the series termination using an external resistor is used to reduce the impedance mismatch effect due to the parasitic components of the capacitor and inductor. To verify the proposed transmitter, the voltage-mode driver, which provides eight swing levels with the constant output impedance of about $50{\Omega}$, was implemented using a 70nm 1-poly 3-metal DRAM process with a 1.5V supply. The jitter reduction of 54% was measured with the swing level controlled voltage-mode driver in the absence of the destination termination at 1.6-Gb/s.

  • In this paper, the proposed full-bridge high frequency isolated zoo voltage and zero current switching phase shifted pulse width modulation(ZVZCS PS-PWM)DC-DC converter among fuel cell generation system consist of 1.2[kW] fuel cell of Nexa Power Module, full-bridge DC-DC converter to boost the fuel cell low voltage($28{\sim}43[%]$) to 380[VDC] and a single phase full-bridge inverter is implemented to produce AC output(220[VAC], 60[Hz]). A tapped inductor filter with freewheeling diode is newly implemented in the output filter of the proposed full-bridge high frequency isolated ZVZCS PS-PWM DC-DC converter to suppress circulating current under the wide output voltage regulation range, thus to eliminate the switching and transformer turn-on/off over-short voltage or transient phenomena. Besides the efficiency of $93{\sim}97[%]$ is obtained over the wide output voltage regulation ranges and load variations.

  • This paper presents the structure and performance of a new Integrated magnetics-based transformer, which can be readily adapted to zero-voltage switching full bridge dc-to-dc converters. The proposed transformer features with two paralleled primary windings and a center-tapped secondary winding. The transformer can be fabricated on standard EE or EI cores where the primary and secondary windings are placed on the outer legs while the output filter inductor is wound on the middle leg. The performance of the proposed transformer is demonstrated with a 100 kHz 720 W experimental dc-to-dc converter which recorded a 92% conversion efficiency at 12 V output voltage.

  • Recently, a fuel cell with low voltage and high current output characteristics is remarkable for new generation system It needs both a DC-DC step-up converter and DC-AC inverter to be used in fuel cell generation system Therefor, this paper, consists of an isolated DC -DC converter to boost the fuel cell voltage 380[$V_{DC}$] and a PWM inverter with LC filter to convent the DC voltage to single phase 220[$V_{AC}$]. Expressly, a tapped inductor filter with freewheeling diode is newly implemented in the output filter of the proposed high frequency isolated ZVZCS PWM DC-DC converter to suppress circulating current under the wide output voltage regulation range, thus to eliminate the switching and transformer turn-on/off over-short voltage or transient phenomena Besides the efficiency of 93-97[%]is obtained over the wide output voltage regulation ranges and load variations.

  • 본 논문에서는 높은 승압비를 갖는 전압 클램프 탭인덕터 부스트 컨버터를 제안한다. 기존의 탭인덕터 부스트 컨버터 방식은 높은 승압비를 얻기 위해 사용되었던 탭인덕터로 인하여 일반적인 부스트 컨버터에 비해 주스위치와 다이오드의 전압스트레스가 크다는 단점이 있다. 또한, 누설 인덕터 성분과 기생 캐패시터로 인해 발생하는 공진 전압을 없애기 위해 손실스너버를 사용함으로 전력변환효율이 떨어지는 단점을 갖는다. 반면, 제안된 방식은 손실 스너버 없이 전압 클램핑 캐패시터를 사용하고 있다. 이 캐패시터는 기존의 탭인덕터 부스트컨버터의 주스위치 및 다이오드의 전압 스트레스를 줄이는 기능을 제공하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 부스트 컨버터의 동작원리를 이론적으로 해석하고, 모의실험을 통해 제안된 회로의 타당성을 검증하였다.
