후미등의 가시광통신을 이용한 이동상황에서의 영상센서 기반 차량 간 거리 추정 기법 (Inter-vehicular Distance Estimation Scheme Based on VLC using Image Sensor and LED Tail Lamps in Moving Situation)

  • This paper proposes a method for estimating the distance betweeen vehicles in a moving situation using the image ratio of the distance between the tail lamps of a front vehicle. The actual distance between the tail lamps of a front vehicle was transmitted by LED tail lamps using visible light communication. As the distance between the front vehicle and the rear vehicle changes, it calculates the ratio of the pixel width between the tail lamps of the front vehicle projected on the image. The calculated values are used to derive a distance-mapping function through non-linear regression technique. Then, the distance between vehicles in the moving situation is estimated based on this function.

  • 본 연구에서는 폐자동차의 재활용 향상을 위하여 전량 소각 및 매립에 의해 처리되고 있는 폐자동차 tail lamp를 해체공정에서 회수하고, 마찰하전형정전선별법을 적용하여 재질분리 연구를 수행하였다. 하전특성 연구결과 PMMA재질이 폐자동차 tail lamp의 재질분리에 효과적인 하전물질로 확인되어, PMMA재질을 사용한 cyclone 하전장치를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 cyclone 하전장치를 이용한 마찰하전형정전선별 실험결과, 최적 실험조건에서 폐자동차 tail lamp로부터 PMMA 재질의 품위와 회수율이 각각 99.0%와 90.2%인 결과를 얻어, 폐자동차 tail lamp를 재활용 할 수 있는 재질분리 기술을 확립하였다.

  • For the purpose of leading horse mackerel Trachurus japonicus schools, mackerel Scomber japonicus schools and arrow squid Todarodes pacificus schools, which migrate to the Cheju coast and are caught by the set-net, to the set-net by attracting lamps, we made five attracting lamps and took a practical experiment in the Gwiduk and Dongbuk set-net fishing ground. In the set-net with two bag-nets, we compared the amount of catch of both bag-nets by the means of switching on and off the each attracting lamps in order, switching off the attracting lamps in order which had been switched on and moving an attracting lamp.In the bag-net with an attracting lamp, horse mackerel, mackerel and arrow squid were caught the most, on the other hand, yellow tail Seriola quinqueradiata, striped mullet Mugil cephalus were caught in large quantities in the bag-net without attracting lamp. File fish Stephanolepis cirrhifer, Dusky spinefoot Siganus fuscescens were caught evenly in both bag-nets regardless of an attracting lamp.This result indicates that the amount of horse mackerel, mackerel, arrow squid can be increased by the use of attracting lamps in the set-net fishing method.

LED와 메탈핼라이드 집어등을 겸용한 갈치채낚기 어선의 조업 성능 (Operating Performance of hair-tail angling vessel using the LED and metal halide fishing lamp combination)

  • One of representative Korean fisheries, jigging and angling has 5,700 vessels for squid and hairtail. Hairtail angling is the most typical fishery in Jeju and has an enormous impact on regional economy. However, the price hike in oil and labor costs triggered the necessity of developing a high efficient and energy saving fish luring lamp in recent times. For that reason, this study aimed to analyze the fishing performance of the aircooled LED lamp targeting hairtail angling fishery. The experiment was conducted from September through October in 2009-2011 for a 9.77 ton of fishing vessel setting up 100 lamps. The fishing performance was tested compared with 6 vessels using metal halide lamps in the same waters. As the LED lamp's performance goes up, different lamps were used in 2008 for 80W, 2009 for 120W and 2011 for 180W respectively. The catch and CPUE of the experimental vessel have gradually increased respectively taking the $4^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ place in 2009, the $4^{th}$ and $2^{nd}$ place in 2010, the $1^{st}$ and $1^{st}$ place in 2011 among the 7 vessels. In summary, the LED fishing lamp showed higher fishing performance than comparison groups. It saved 33% of oil consumption and cut down on operating expenses and greenhouse gases emission.

평면-비구면 2×2 fly-eye 렌즈형태의 2차 렌즈를 사용한 고효율의 좁은 배광각을 갖는 MR-16 램프 시리즈 제작 및 성능평가 (Fabrication and Performance Evaluation of MR-16 Lamp Series with Narrow Angular Distribution of Luminous Intensity Using an Aspherical Planar-convex 2×2 Fly-eye Lens Type)

  • 본 연구에서는 간편하고 빠른 사출성형을 위하여 한쪽이 평면인 비구면 형상을 갖는 단일 fly-eye 렌즈형태의 2차 렌즈를 사용하는 MR-16 램프 시리즈의 설계를 보고하고자 한다. 인테리어 조명용 할로겐 램프를 대체하기 위해 효율이 높고 좁은 배광각을 갖도록 MR-16 램프용 광학계를 설계하여 이를 제작하고 성능을 확인하였다. 광학설계용 소프트웨어는 ORA사의 CODE V와 LightTools를 사용하였다. 그 결과, 제작된 MR-16 램프의 배광각은 $22.4^{\circ}$, $31.1^{\circ}$, $37.3^{\circ}$, $59.9^{\circ}$였으며, 광효율은 각각 76.5 lm/W, 75.2 lm/W, 72.0 lm/W, 77.8 lm/W 이고, 복사 균제도 81%에서 발산각은 $3^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $22^{\circ}$, $49^{\circ}$이다. 그리고 제작된 MR-16 램프에 확산시트를 2차 렌즈와 LED사이에 확산 시트를 적용하여 황색 띠를 제거한 후의 배광각은 각각 $20.8^{\circ}$, $31.5^{\circ}$, $37.8^{\circ}$, $68.7^{\circ}$로 측정되었다. 실험적으로 2차 렌즈를 같은 렌즈 4개를 붙이는 형식으로 fly-eye 형태로 함으로써 설계 및 제작이 용이하며 배광각과 균일한 조도 분포를 갖는데 있어서 문제가 없다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Effect of Different Lighting Sources on Behavior and Growth of Weanling Pigs

  • These studies aimed to determine how lighting might be used to improve feed intake and reduce aggressive behavior in newly weaned pigs. To examine whether this objective could be achieved an experiment was conducted to compare performance, behavior and body condition of weaners over 17-45 days, provided similar lighting quality (i.e. color temperature, color rendering index and lighting distribution) after weaning that piglets experienced prior to weaning. Triphosphor (TP) lighting to simulate daylight was provided during the day while at night, Pascal red (PR) lighting was provided to simulate the night-light piglets previously had received from infrared heating lamps. This treatment was compared to weaners provided conventional cool-white fluorescent light during the day only. Weaners on treatment lighting from 17-45 days of age showed no improvement in body weight or feed conversion at 24, 31, 38 and 45 days compared to the controls. There was, however, a significant improvement (p<0.05) in feed intake in the first week of weaning for weaners provided TP/PR lighting. Over the first 3 days of weaning, pigs on TP/PR lighting showed an increase (p<0.05) in the incidence of ear chewing but reduced (p<0.05) levels of nosing the abdomen of other pigs and reduced (p<0.05) occurrences of being stood on by other pigs. Females exhibited more (p<0.05) mounting and nosing behaviors and rubbing the heads of other pigs than males. On the other hand, males engaged in more (p<0.05) fighting, nipping, ear chewing and standing on other pigs compared to females. Pigs provided PR lighting on the first night of weaning engaged in higher (p<0.05) incidences of nosing and tail sucking behaviors, more (p<0.05) head thrusting, fighting and ear chewing compared to control pigs. The body condition of weaners provided the TP/PR lighting treatment was significantly poorer (p<0.05) compared to weaners on control lighting. In conclusion there was no improvement in production performance of weaners provided new technology lighting apart from the improvement in feed intake in the first week weaners were exposed to the TP/PR lighting.

교차로 사고 감소를 위한 신호등 보완에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Intersection in Reduce Car Accidents for Traffic Signal Light to Supplement)

  • 국내 신호등은 2색등, 3색등, 4색등의 신호체계를 적용하고 있다. 2색등은 적색•녹색 등화로 주로 횡단보도에서 사용되며 3색등은 적색•황색•녹색(녹색화살표)등화로 T자형 교차로, 4색등화 표시는 적색•황색•녹색화살표•녹색으로 일반적인 교차로에서 사용되고 있다. 교차로에 진입하는 운전자는 딜레마 존 영역에서 교차로 진입 또는 정지선에 정지 판단을 해야 한다. 교차로 진입 전 딜레마 존에서 운전자는 교차로 폭, 차량속도, 인지반응시간, 기준 황색신호 시간에 따라 교차로 통과 또는 정지선에 정지, 과속차량, 꼬리물기, 끼어들기, 신호위반 차량 등 많은 정보를 수집 판단하고 있다. 본 논문은 교차로 3,4색 신호등의 기준 황색신호 시간과 교차로 통과 속도를 50km/h, 60km/h하향 조정에 따른 딜레마 존 영역 길이 변화가 황색신호 시간에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 제시한다. 이러한 영향에 따른 황색신호 시간은 0.1~2.3초 증가함을 알 수 있었으며 딜레마 존 영역도 1.22~26[m] 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 교차로 사고 감소를 위해 딜레마 존의 운전자에게 빠른 판단할 수 있도록 직진(3색,4색) 녹색신호의 잔여시간을 표시함으로써 교차로 통행에 발생하는 교통사고를 줄이는 방안을 제시하며, 심야시간에 운영되어지는 교차로 점멸신호에 진입하는 차량에 적색(LED 손바닥)신호와 좌회전 녹색 화살표 신호를 교차 점멸함으로 안전한 진입 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
