In clinic, it's very difficult to diagnose and treat a Taeyangin patient accurately. Taeyangin are rarer than other constitutions in number and there are few references in documents. Therefore, it will be helpful to understand Taeyangin if we accumulate their clinical cases. To that end, I introduce a case study concerning 3 persons. Among patients who have visited the Oriental Hospital of Dongguk University, these 3 persons were classified as Taeyangin and then their symptoms were reduced by Taeyangin treatment. Through reporting the case studies concerning these 3 persons - a male patient aged 14 complaining of feeling oppressed and dyspnea, a female patient aged 39 complaining of dyspepsia, feeling heavy in the head, and fatigue, and a male patient aged 23 complaining of acid regurgitation and nausea, I want to contribute to diagnosis and treatment in Taeyangin.

1. Objectives Yulkyuk is the interior syndrome of Taeyangin and it's chief symptom is dysphagia. Lee Je-Ma prescribed Mihudeungsikjang-tang for Taeyangin Yulkyuk. In this case we diagnosed a woman's chief complaints as Taeyangin Yulkyuk, prescribed Mihudeungsikjang-tang and experienced the effectiveness and reproduction of Mihudeungsikjang-tang against Yulkyuk. 2. Methods To treatment Taeyangin Yulkyuk we used Mihudeungsikjang-tang 3. Results Mihudeungsikjang-tang is effective against Taeyangin Yulkyuk and curled-up tongue, dry vomiting, dizziness are also the symptoms of Yulkyuk. 4. Conclusions We have many difficulties to diagnose and treatment Taeyangin constitution because there have been few clinical study about Taeyangin yet. Further study on Taeyangin constitution is more needed.

The Interior Disease of Taeyangin(太陽人裏病證) is typical syndrome in the Taeyangin pathology taking nausea, vomiting and dyspepsia. However, The Interior Disease of Taeyangin is difficult to classify because Taeyangin patients are relatively few and published studies about Taeyangin pathology are rare. This patient was a 69-year-old man who had nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia and epigastric pain and had been diagnosed and treated as Gastric ulcer before. We classified this patient as The Interior Disease of Taeyangin and prescribed Mihudeungsikjangtang(??藤植腸湯). We experienced the good effect of Mihudeungsikjangtang on The Interior Disease of Taeyangin. We report the healing process and the result of treatment in this study.

1. Objectives and Methods Sasang Constitutional Medicine is the original Korean Medicine. The purpose of this study was to objectify the diagnosis of Sasang Constitution. 212 Women's sentences were analyzed into 228 factors like Pitch, APQ, Shimmer, Octave and Energy, etc. Women's sentences were classified into 3 categories: total group, under 54 years old group and over 55 years old group. 2. Results 1) In Total group Soyangin's Center feq.(3) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Taeumin groups. Taeumin's Pitch2 was significantly high compared with Soeumin and Taeyangin groups. Taeyangin's Pitch S.D. was significantly high compared with Soyangin group. Taeyangin's Octave6 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. There were no significant differences among constitutional groups in APQ and Shimmer segment. On the point of Energy, Taeyangin's G Tot E(1), G# Tot E(1), G dev.(1), G# dev.(1), G Tot E(2), G# Tot E(2), G dev.(4) and G# dev.(4) were significantly high compared with other groups. Soyangin's A#S.D.(2) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin group. Taeyangin's A#S.D.(3) was significantly high compared with Taeumin group. Taeyangin's F S.D.(5), F# S.D.(5) and Max Average were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeumin's Peak3 and Peak4 were significantly high compared with Taeyangin group. Taeumin's PeakValue1 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's PeakValue2 was significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's PeakValue3 and PeakValue5 were significantly high compared with Other groups. 2) In Under 54 years old group, there were no significant differences among constitutional groups in APQ, Shimmer and Octave segment. Taeumin's Center freq.(2) was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Soyangin groups. Taeumin's Pitch(2) and Pitch(3) were significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Soeumin groups. Taeyangin's and Taeumin's Pitch S.D. were significantly high compared with Soyangin group. Taeyangin's and Soyangin's Octave2 were significantly high compared with Taeumin group. On the point of Energy, Taeyangin's and Soyangin's A# S.D.(2) were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's and Soyangin's G# dev.(1), G# dev.(2) were significantly high compared with Taeumin group. Taeyangin's and Taeumin's F# S.D.(3) were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's and Soyangin's Max Average were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeumin's Peak3 was significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Soeumin groups. Taeyangin's and Taeumin's PeakValue2 were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's and Soeumin's PeakValue3 were significantly high compared with Taeumin group. Taeyangin's and Soyangin's PeakValue5 were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. Taeyangin's and Soyangin's PeakValue9 were significantly high compared with Taeumin group 3) In Over 55 years old group, there were no significant differences among constitutional groups in Pitch, APQ, and Peak segment. Soeumin's F Shimmer(1) and F Shimmer(2) were significantly high compared with Taeyangin and Taeumin groups. Soeumin's G# Shimmer(1) and G# Shimmer(2) were significantly high compared with Soyangin group. Taeyangin's Octave5 and Octave6 were significantly high compared with Soeumin group. On the point of Energy, Soyangin's C S.D., F# S.D.(1), F# S.D.(2) and G dev.(2) were significantly high compared with other groups. Soyangin's F# S.D.(3) was significantly high compared with Taeumin and Soeumin groups. Taeyangin's and Taeumin's G# S.D.(2) and G# S.D.(3) were significantly high compared with Soyangin group 3. Conclusions From above result, there is the possibility of efficient standard guide for constitution diagnosis by analysis of voice

Purpose Because Taeyangin constitutions are very rare, There are few references about Taeyangin diseases. I suppose to gather basic materials on the case of a diagnosis and treatment on Taeyangin constitution patient. So I want to accomplish the theory of Taeyangin diseases. Methods I studied I patients with sequelae of CVA who were diagnosed by Taeyangin at department of Sasang constitutional Medicine in Kangnam Kyung Hee Oriental Hospital, and then I investigated the Ordinary symptoms as the diagnosis and treatment on a Taeyangin constitution Conclusion & Results To diagnose Taeyangin constitution, It is important to find out one's ordinary symptomes(especially appearance, personality, taste of food, existence of $y{\breve{u}}lk{\breve{u}}k{\cdot}haey{\breve{u}}k$, condition of urine and feces)

1. Objectives I, the author, interviewed Taeyangin patients who were proved by clinical effect and also focused in bibliography to compare with Taeyangin patients case then I found out a several differences. 2. Methods I discoursed with comparing bibliography witch stated Taeyangin characteristics, such as ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Suse Bowon${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$Hwangje Nekyung${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$Joongyi Chejilhak${\lrcorner}$, with interviewed 8 Taeyangin patients. 3. Results All of these 8 Taeyangin's men and women had very strong sharp-sighted. In characteristics and mental state, they usually were rather conservative than decisiveness, quick-tempered. In women case, they had average 1.78 children, no sterility, and didn't show a anger or sadness. The most of case ,showing a very sensitive reaction to food, were Nechoksojangbyung(內觸小腸病證). 4. Conclusions These results could be a important reference documents to classify Taeyangin in clinic.

1. Objectives Taeyangin is more rare than other kinds of people of the Constitution in number. And there are few references on Taeyangin's diseases, symptoms, and characters. Therefore diagnosing and treating Taeyangin patients are very difficult. We think that out study might be helpful to make it easier to diagnose and treat Taeyangin. 2. Methods Among patients who have visited the Oriental Hospital of Dongguk University, four female patients were classified as Taeyangin. Their symptoms were lessened by treatment that is appropriate to Taeyangin. Thus, we report these four female patients' improvements of their conditions on stool, urine, infertility, menstruation, and skin. We looked over the other reports, in advance, to get more ideas on Taeyangin. 3. Results After treating four female patients with Taeyangin's treatment, we found out that it showed significant changes on stool and urine condition, and infertility, menstruation. After the treatment, urine came out very easily and bowel moved much better than before. Discharge from the womb also remarkably decreased. Even their skin turned out to be softer than before, which we did not expected. 4. Conclusions We obtained great results from treating four female patients with the Taeyangin's treatment. As there are few clinical studies on Taeyangin, more studies on Taeyangin will be needed so that we could get to know more on the mechanism of Tayangin's physiology. We can read the changes of urine and defecation after the Tayangin's treatment in the books written by Dongmu, and we can ascertain it through our study. But more study on Tayangin's physiology might be needed because we found out that the discharge from the womb or the condition of the skin was significantly improved after the treatment, which is not quite well revealed in the books written by Dongmu.

Background : Till now Efficacy of Taeyangin medicine have not existsd in Medical Oriental medical, QSCC II(Questionnaire of sasang Constitution Classification II) can't discriminate Taeyangin is known to everybody. Objective : We have made an Effort to find out Essence of Taeyangin's Disease. Method : we have examined patient's feeling of improvement, Disease entity, Term of taking medicine, Period of ilness With eath symptoms, Comparison Taeyangin part Marks of QSSC II with Marks of improved Taeyangin questionnaire. Result : According to 43 Case of Patients Treated with Ogapijangchuk-tang, Ogapijangchuk-tang is more effective to cure Fatigue taking Headache and Dizziness than Myalgia and so on. and Item of more improved Taeyangin's constitution Question is more effective than Item of Taeyanin's constitution question in QSCC II.

Objectives This case study was about a Taeyangin patient with transient ischemic attack(TIA) due to vertebrobasilar insufficiency(VBI). In this study, we report the progress of mistreat with Taeyangin as Taeeumin and the improvement of symptoms after rediagnosis as Taeyangin. Methods Patient's chief complain was weakness of lower limbs, dysarthria and dizziness. Patient first time took Taeeumin prescription such as Chunghyulganggi-tang, Chunsimyonja-tang and Sanyakbopaewon-tang. After occuring side effects we changed the prescription to Taeyangin herbal medicine such as Ogapijangchuk-tang gagam and Mihudeungsikjang-tang gagam. Result and Conclusion Patient suffered from diarrhea by taking Taeeumin prescription and symptom was continue. After changing of prescription to Taeyangin herbal medicine, not only chief symptom but also original symptom was improved.

Objectives This research was proposed to present Clinical Practice Guideline(CPG) for Taeeumin and Taeyangin Disease of Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM): Diagnosis and Algorithm. This CPG was developed by the national-wide experts committee consisting of SCM professors. Methods We searched the literature and articles related to Taeeumin and Taeyangin Symptomatology diagnosis and algorithm. For developing diagnosis and algorithm, we searched the classification, ordinary symptom, present symptom of the Taeeumin and Taeyangin Symptomatology Results and Conclusions We classified the Taeeumin Symptomatology by 4 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern, initial-intermediate-advanced pattern. And we classified the Taeyangin Symptomatology by 3 steps: Exterior-Interior disease, favorable-unfavorable pattern, mild-moderate-severe-critical pattern. At the unfavorable pattern, ordinary symptom is very important. So doctors are considered to need to focus on the symptom of unfavorable's ordinary symptoms.
