The comparison of statistical experiments with a common parameter and parameter space is discussed using the concept of the Blackwell's sufficiency and the Shannon's entropy. Binomial and censored experiments are considered as applications. The loss of information is studied under teh aggregated experiments and truncated experiments, and summerized in some tables which make it possible to indicate the choice of an appropriate experiment.

When we select the t best out of k populations in the indifference zone formulation, a lower confidence bound on the probability of a correct selection is derived for families with monotone likelihood ratio. The result is applied to the normal means problem when the variance is common, and to the normal variances problem. Tables to implement the confidence bound for the normal variances problem are provided.

Let $F_1$ and $F_2$ be two F ratios with independent numerators and a common denominator. They are known to be positively dependent. The probabilities of simultaneous rejection and conditional rejection are numerically computed for both null and nonnull cases. The probabilities are presented in tables and graphics to show the influence of the seven parameters, the degrees of freedom of the numerators and the denominator, the non-centralities of the numerators, and the two levels of significance of the tests. The values of the correlation coefficient between $F_1$ and $F_2$ are also presented. Finally, a conjecture on the dependence order of the family of distributions of $(F_1, F_2)$ is given.

The double Gamma function had been defined and studied by Barnes [4], [5], [6] and others in about 1900, not appearing in the tables of the most well-known special functions, cited in the exercise by Whittaker and Waston [25, pp. 264]. Recently this function has been revived according to the study of determinants of Laplacians [8], [11], [15], [16], [19], [20], [22] and [24]. Shintani [21] also uses this function to prove the classical Kronecker limit formula. Its p-adic analytic extension appeared in a formula of Casson Nogues [7] for the p-adic L-functions at the point 0.

본 연구는 주요 십진분류표(DDC, KDC, NDC)에서 적용하고 있는 보조표의 기능을 분석적으로 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 동일 시스템을 적용하고 있는 DDC, KDC, NDC의 보조표를 분석하고 여기에서 추론된 보조표의 기능을 KDC에 적용시켜보고자 시도된 연구이다. 특히 KDC 5판을 준비하는데 사전 자료적 성격으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Widespread of internet causes rapid changes in many areas of statistics such as statistical computation and education. In this paper the efficient methods for statistical software development on the internet environment are introduced. Also the developed examples about monte-carlo permutation tests for two-way contingency tables using Microsoft COM (Component Obejct Model) technology are presented.

Partially balanced diallel cross designs with m-associate classes are defined and two general methods of construction are presented. Two-associate class designs based upon group divisible, triangular, and extended group divisible association schemes obtained using the general methods are also given. Linear-by-linear association models are commonly used to analyze ordered categorical data. To fit these models appropriate scores need to be chosen. In this paper we perform sensitivity analyses in two-way contingency tables to investigate the effect of scores on goodness-of-fits and on tests of significance. In addition we show that the best score which yields the best fit of data can be selected based on the sensitivity analysis results.
