In Bone Mineral Density(BMD) measurements, accuracy and precision must be superior in order to know the small changes in bone mineral density and actual biological changes. Therefore the purpose of this study is to increase the reliability of bone mineral density inspection through appropriate management of image quality from machines and inspectors. For the machine management method, the recommended phantom from each bone mineral density machine manufacturer was used to take 10~25 measurements to determine the standard amount and permitted limit. On each inspection day, measurements were taken everyday or at least three times per week to verify the whether or not change existed in the amount of actual bone mineral density. Also evaluations following Shewhart control chart and CUSUM control chart rules were made for the bone mineral density figures from the phantoms used for measurements. Various forms of management became necessary for machine installation and movement. For the management methods of inspectors, evaluation of the measurement precision was conducted by testing the reproducibility of the exact same figures without any real biological changes occurring during reinspection. There were two measurement methods followed: patients were either measured twice with 30 measurements or three times with 15 measurements. An important point to make regarding measurements is that after the first inspection and any other inspection following, the patient was required to come off the inspection table completely and then get back on for any further measurements. With a 95% confidence level, the precision error produced from the measurement bone mineral figures produced a precision error of 2.77 times the minimum of the biological bone mineral density change (Least significant change: LSC). In order to assure reliability in inspection, there needs to be good oversight of machine management and measurer for machine operation and inspection error. Accuracy error in machines needs to be reduced to under 1% for scientific development in bone mineral density machines.
This pot experiment was conducted to find out the optimal fertilization ratio of the anions (N : S : P) in various soil conditions. Soil samples were collected from uncultivated mountains and hills where development for grasslands is under consideration. The optimum ratios were computed by the $Hom{\grave{e}}s$ systematic variation technique. The results were summarized as follows : 1. The optimum fertilization ratios of the anions (N : S : P) for the high yields of grass - clover mixed sward at various areas were obtained (Table 5). 2. The grass yields in mixed sward were increased by the increase of specific soil characteristics, CEC, OM, T-N, avail-$P_2O_5$. However. it was not recognizable by the contents of the cations, the base saturation, and the pH. 3. The relatively high yields of clover were positively related to the Ca and Mg contents in soils, and it was a factor of the increased total yields of mixed sward. 4. The relatively high optimum fertilization ratios of S in volcanic ash soil in the Cheju district and P in sediment lithosol in Daegu should be taken into account in determing the fertilization rate for high yield of clover in mixed sward.

The purpose of this paper was to explore the teaching materials in the Korean and Japanese high school Home Economics textbooks from the perspective of green life education. Although sustainable living at home has been emphasized as one of the main issues of Home Economics since the first curriculum period, green growth education has reinforced in the 2009 revised curriculum. The content analyses had been done to explore the teaching materials of five areas in the 6 Korean and 4 Japanese high school Home Economics textbooks through two checking steps. The material form of table-figure-pictures was the most frequently shown in both Korean and Japanese textbooks. Green life-teaching materials were more likely in the area of household management/consumer activity than in any other ones. All textbooks of both countries have included the green life-teaching materials according to the elements of contents mentioned in the curricula. The quantity and contents of the materials were some what differ by textbooks, so home economics teacher need to cross check the all textbooks to select useful information although the textbooks have included various types of green materials over the 5 areas. Home Economics curriculum need to actively and concretely include the green growth educational elements suggested by the previous study.
In this study, our investigated the antioxidant activities and compared other bioassay including anti-microbial, antifungal activities and total polyphenol contents of functional healthy drinks from some medicinal herbs and coffee mixture. The kind of medicinal herbs, chaga mushroom (Inonatus obliqurs), moringa (Moringa Oleifera), gravila (Anona muricata), mulberry (Morus alba), Dioscoreaceae (Dioscorea quinquelaba), Berberidaceae (Epimedii Herba), Asteraceae (Artemisia capillaries) and siberian ginseng (Acanthopanax senticous,). The functional healthy drinks, named C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7 were summered in Table 1. The in vitro antimicrobial activity was examined against Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria and a fungus. The functional healthy drinks were broad spectrum of anti-microbial activity without antifungal activity against Candida albicans KCTC7965. In particularly, the C7 showed strong activity against Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus CCARM3089, CCARM 3115 and CCARM3561. And, the C7 showed 88% of free radical scavenging effect on 0.5 mg/ml using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. Functional healthy drink C7 was mulberry extracts from Morus alba, chaga mushroom from Inonatus obliqurs and moringa from Moringa olifera in additionally coffee extracts. Its results confirm that the potential use of mulberry extracts as a good source of antibacterial compounds or as a health promoting food and health drinks.
This study explored the changes in nutrition knowledge and eating habits formation of infants through vegetable gardening activities in early childhood education institutions. children from H nursery school located in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and H nursery school located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, were divided into 18 experimental groups and 18 people from comparison group and pre-post analysis was conducted. The research tool analyzed the data collected using the nutrition knowledge measuring tool and the eating habits measuring tool using the program SPSS, and the analysis method was conducted with t-test(verification) to verify the homogeneity of the experimental group and the comparative group. Analysis result, first. Infants aged 3 to 4 in experimental groups who have experienced vegetable gardening activities have higher nutritional knowledge than infants in comparison groups. In the case of nutrition knowledge, there was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the comparative group before the vegetable gardening activities were carried out. But after the experimental treatment, the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in improving the concept of nutritional knowledge (the reason for eating food, the type and function of food, hygiene, and garden) in the post-examination of the comparative group. Second, it can be seen that infants aged 3 to 4 in experimental groups who experienced vegetable gardening activities showed significant differences in table manners and eating behavior among sub-factors of eating habits compared to infants in comparison groups who had never experienced them. In conclusion, vegetable gardening activities are educationally useful in terms of expecting positive changes in the nutrition knowledge and eating habits formation of infants.
Since 1970, MRI has greatly been developing in terms of strength of magnetic field, the number of receipt channels, and short time of examination. With the development of digital systems and wireless network, hospitals have also acquired, saved, and managed digital images taken by various kinds of medical imaging equipment. However, domestic universities fail to provide practice training course independently thanks to expensive practice equipment and high maintenance cost, and rely on clinical training. Therefore, this study developed a MR patient diagnosis program based on Windows PC to help out students before their working in clinical filed. The designed Relational Database of MRI Simulator is made up of seven tables according to functions and data characteristics. Regarding the designed patient information, each stepwise function was classified by the patient registration method in clinical field. In addition, on the assumption of the basic information for diagnosis, each setting and content were classified. The menu by execution step was arrayed on the left side for easy view. For patient registration, a patient's name, gender, unique ID, birth date, weight, and other types of basic information were entered, and the patient's posture and diagnosis direction were set up. In addition, the body regions for diagnosis and Pulse Sequence were listed for selection. Also, Protocol name and other additional factors were allowed to be entered. The final window was designed to check diagnosis images, patient information, and diagnosis conditions. By learning how to enter patient information and change diagnosis conditions in this program, users will be able to understand more theories and terms learned in practice and thereby to shorten their learning time in actual clinical work.
Recently, sudden interests of mobile cloud computing as well as conventional internet environment are rapidly increased as cloud computing spread out in our web society. Mobile devices including smart phone are rapidly changing in a wholesale way that covers hardwares, applications, and services. However, the Internet access using mobile device is not quite smooth in this local mobile internet environment which suffers from lack of understanding and observance of Web Standards. Although most of domestic web sites are developed focusing on various functions and eye-catching designs, this should became one of the main factors that make the usability and accessability decrease when accessing web with smart phones or table PCs. Therefore, this paper suggested a web interface that considered usability and accessability under mobile cloud environment and we tried to prove it via usability test. It could be found that there was an improvement of usability of interface of the main page that has been optimized to the mobile device environment suggested from the previous research we present, but this paper aimed to prove a usability improvement of total website as a whole by performing the usability test on the entire website. Selecting a special website optimized for mobile cloud computing, we prove an improvement of usability and accessibility. Therefore, we offer a guideline about user interface design applications to developers or companies who want to construct mobile website.
In the domestic data exchanging market, unreasonable pricing of purchase data is consistently mentioned as a major obstacle in data trading. This is a problem caused by the inability to properly evaluate the value of data products due to lack of product information and experience in using them. In order to activate trading, the data exchanges need to provide information that allows consumers to comprehensively judge the value of data products in addition to prices. The cost-based, income-based, and market-based methods, which are mainly applied to data valuation, are insufficient as data valuation methods to stimulate trading and distribution because only price information, a result of valuation from a supplier's point of view, can be shared with consumers. This study aims to develop a measurable valuation method that allows data trading stakeholders (exchanges, suppliers, and consumers) to judge and share the value of data products from a common perspective. To this end, we identified the value drivers of data products, which are considered important in overseas data exchanges and related research, and derived an evaluation method that can quantitatively measure each value driver. In addition, evaluation criteria in the form of a rating table were developed using data products for transactions, and a value evaluation index was developed through stratification analysis (AHP) to enable relative value comparison. As a result of applying the evaluation criteria to actual data products, it was found that the evaluation values were differentiated according to the characteristics of individual data products, so it could be used as a relative value comparison tool.
What are important in wireless sensor networks are reliable data transmission, energy efficiency of each node, and the maximization of network life through the distribution of load among the nodes. The present study proposed DSPR, a dynamic unique path routing machanism that considered these requirements in wireless sensor networks. In DSPR, data is transmitted through a dynamic unique path, which has the least cost calculated with the number of hops from each node to the sink, and the average remaining energy. At that time, each node monitors its transmission process and if a node detects route damage it changes the route dynamically, referring to the cost table, and by doing so, it enhances the reliability of the network and distributes energy consumption evenly among the nodes. In addition, when the network topology is changed, only the part related to the change is restructured dynamically instead of restructuring the entire network, and the life of the network is extended by inhibiting unnecessary energy consumption in each node as much as possible. In the results of our experiment, the proposed DSPR increased network life by minimizing energy consumption of the nodes and improved the reliability and energy efficiency of the network.
Western countries came to Asia aggressively in the early 1900s. Westerners who came to Korea at that time also had a various jobs with diplomats, missionaries, doctors, and so on. Korean diet was curious and shocking to foreigners in the early 1990s, so they made a record of the Korean diet. They thought Korea was peaceful, attractive and rich to eat. Koreans ate mainly rice and kimchi, a variety of grains, vegetables and bibimbap. Korea had a variety of meat and fish, seaweed, and herbs(ginseng). Foreigners said Koreans were greedy for food and ate a lot. Koreans ate basically a bowl of rice(bap), a bowl of soup(kuk), kimchi, soy sauce and other dishes. If Koreans wanted to set a table in abundance, they have meat soup(kuk) with meat and additional fish like as raw fish, dried fish, and boiled or fried fish. Korean people had a jangdokdae with Ongki(Earthen jar) where soy sauce(kanjang), soybean paste(doenjang), red pepper paste(kochujang), pickles (jang-achi) have been fermented. Foreigners felt the smell of lacquer tree and kimchi hung in the air from Korean people. While they were compared it to the smell of western rim cheese burger, they said Korea was a country with nasty smell in the feet. By the records of foreigners in the early 1900s, Korean's diets and image were appeared objectively.
