  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 TV 시스템에서 사용하는 영상신호의 encoding/decoding 방법과 새롭게 제안되는 constant luminance encoding/decoding 방법을 컴퓨터로 구현하고, 기존의 방법과 제안된 방법으로 재생된 영상의 칼라 정보의 차이에 대한 데이터를 제시한다. 또한 디지털 방송에 적합한 encoding/decoding 시스템의 선택에 대한 고찰도 포함한다.

  • A wide variety of devices and systems exist whose main function is to generate an image. These devices and systems are used for many different purposes and find applications in many different walks of life. We are all very familiar with some of these systems such as the photographic camera (that can produce a permanent record of a scene on sensitized sheet material) and the television set (that can receive a suitably coded electromagnetic signal broadcast through space and convert it into an image).   • With the change of the housing market, construction company should diversify publicity activities. Especially, TV advertisement exerts a stronger influence on customers. So it's important to understand process materialized with company's strategic image. 1) First of all, it was found that clusters is the assignment of a set of similar character with cluster analysis 2) An attempt was made to draw a diagram to measure the objective distance between advertisement Image and remained brand image. It's possible to confirm which Idea of advertisement concept is effective and whether present strategy is collect or not.

  • In applying LCD to TV application, one of the most significant factors to be improved is image sticking on the moving picture. LCD is different from CRT in the sense that it's continuous passive device, which holds images in entire frame period, while impulse type device generate image in very short time. To reduce image sticking problem related to hold type display mode, we made an experiment to drive LCD like CRT. We made articulate images by turn on-off backlight, and we realized the ratio of Back Light on-off time by adjusting between on time and off time for video signal input during 1 frame (16.7ms). Conventional CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) cannot follow fast on-off speed, so we evaluated new fluorescent substances of light source to improve residual light characteristic of CCFL. We realized articulate image generation similar to CRT by blinking drive. As a result, reduced image sticking phenomenon was validated by naked eye and response time measurement.

  • The infringement of the copyright is a problem by the distribution of digital contents copied illegally. The digital watermark is expected as a thing preventing unjust copying by burying information in digital data such as image, animation, the sound, TV, radio and movies. [1] [2]But a noise is included in a digital watermark reproduction image. So there is the case that the certification of the reproduction image has difficulty with. If a computer cannot recognize the information reproduced from digital watermarking, the information does not have a meaning. This paper aimed at improvement of the proof of a digital-watermarking reproduction image. And it is verified whether the difference of the form of a character affects the degree of correlation.

  • Multimedia boom has happened worldwide these days. In multimedia, we use several kinds of media such as character, figure, voice, music, still images, moving picture etc.. Then I think image including moving picture is the most effective and important media for human being. Creating digital images using a computer has the following two main approaches, depending on how the computer is used. 1. CG Technology. Created images, produced through computer graphics. 2. Digital Image Processing. Images processed through digital image processing technologies. Approach (1) is very popular as Computer Graphics. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional computer graphics techniques are used over wide applications today. On the other hand, Approach (2), which uses digital image processing technology, has been attracting attention lately, in the filed of movies and television. In this report, I will introduce these approaches of CG and digital image processing, and show some application fields such as current movies.

흑인 여성 패션모델의 이미지 분석 (Image Analysis of Black Female Fashion Models)

  • This study examines black images as 'the other' in history and aims to analyze images of black female fashion models which have been changed in modern society, particularly in $21^{st}$ century post-modern world. Black images, established historically as illustrated on the paintings in $19^{th}$ century, were disseminated in $20^{th}$ century throughout the world especially by way of TV and movies as several typical images such as 'Coon' the clown as the object of entertainment, 'Buck' wild and resistant black rascal, and 'Mammy' obedient and fat black woman servant. The result of image analysis of black female fashion models, can be summarized as following five images. The first is the image of 'powerful'. Black female models frequently represent healthy image which reflects black people's excellence in sports and also the traditional Image of black skin color as strength. The second is the image of 'sexy'. They are adored as having perfect ideal body shape. They show off their sex appeal with their body. The third image is 'multicultural'. Black models represent cultures besides the western. The fourth is the image of 'fantastic'. In contrast to the real, resonable things, black female models represent wild, fancy, ghost things. The fifth is the image of 'racial discrimination' By arranging them in contrast to whites, a metaphoric image of racial discrimination can be displayed. The result shows that tome of racial images still remain on the other way.

아파트 거주자 평가를 통한 아파트 브랜드의 이미지 통합 실태 연구 (A Study on the Brand Image Intergration of Apartment By Residents' Evaluation)

  • The brand is getting more important purchase factor in apartment market, so domestic construction companies have tried to differentiate it from others by creating the unique brand image. The purpose of this study was to investigate consistency of apartment brand image as a process which includes publicity, design and customer service and to analyze how using intergrated brand image affects brand preference and purchasing intention. To examine hypotheses, an empirical study using a survey questionnaire for residents living in 4 different brand apartments in Dongtan, Hwasung city was conducted. The collected data were treated with the SPSS Win Program 14.0. The study indicates that residents living in brand apartment generally preferred natural friendly image, high-class image and modern image to the others. And at first apartment brand images were created with image advertising on TV, catalog for sale and model house tour, but residents have most needs for customer service reflected in brand images. The study also has found that brand images in each process including publicity, design and customer service were not intergrated. However brand image intergration had positive effects on residential satisfaction and customer loyalty. The results of the study are expected to become the useful data in developing sustainable apartment brands and building effective marketing strategy of construction companies.

커넥티드 차량 보급률 기반 고속도로 돌발상황 검지시간 추정 (Estimation of Incident Detection Time on Expressways Based on Market Penetration Rate of Connected Vehicles)

  • 최근 인공지능 (Artificial Intelligence: AI) 기술 발전으로 폐쇄회로 TV(Closed-Circuit television: CCTV)와 같은 영상 센서에 AI 기술을 도입하여 특정 돌발상황을 검지하고 있으나 대부분 고정식 장비 기반으로 돌발상황 검지가 진행되어왔다. 따라서 모든 도로 공간에 대한 돌발상황 검지에는 한계가 존재해왔다. 그러나 영상 센서와 edge-computing 기술 등의 발전으로 이동식 영상정보수집 및 분석 기술이 확산되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 이동식 영상 수집 및 분석 장비(커넥티드 차량)의 도입 수준에 따른 돌발상황 검지시간 감소효과를 추정하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 2021년 경부고속도로 수원지사에서 수집된 돌발상황 발생 건수 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과 편도 2차로 고속도로는 커넥티드 차량의 보급률(Market Penetration Rate: MPR)이 4% 이상, 편도 3차로 고속도로는 3% 이상이면 돌발상황 검지 시간이 1분 이하로 나타났고, 편도 2차로와 편도 3차로 고속도로에서 MPR이 각각 0.4% 이상, 0.2% 이상이면 한국도로공사에서 발표한 평균 돌발상황 검지시간 보다 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

영상콘텐츠에서 테마공간으로의 전환 양상:각색을 통한 재현을 중심으로 (Conversional Aspect of The Theme Space Based on Visual Image Content:A Focus on Representation through Adaptation)

  • 본 논문은 영상콘텐츠에서 공간콘텐츠로의 전환의 핵심을 각색(adaptation)에 두고, 테마공간의 원형콘텐츠인 영상콘텐츠가 어떻게 각색되어 공간으로 재현되어야 하는가를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 스토리텔링에 대한 연구는 무수히 많이 쏟아져 나오고 있고, 소설의 영화화나 TV드라마화, 영화의 게임화나 그 반대와 관련한 각색 연구는 많지만 영상콘텐츠에서 테마공간으로 전환 시의 각색의 방법과 스토리텔링의 전단계라는 측면에서의 각색에 대한 연구는 부족한 편이다. 우선 각색의 정의를 내리고, 자네티와 더들리의 각색방법을 차용하여 영상콘텐츠의 테마공간화에 적용해 보았다. 이어서 테마공간의 특징을 살펴본 후 테마공간은 결국 영상콘텐츠의 이야기 이미지 행위의 재현 장소임을 사례분석과 함께 밝히고, 각각 어떤 각색을 통해 재현되고 있는가를 분석하였다. 연구결과 공간의 스토리텔링보다 각색이 선행작업이어야 하고, 3인칭 시점의 영상콘텐츠와는 달리 1인칭 시점의 테마공간 재현의 핵심은 관람이 아닌 체험임을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영상콘텐츠에서 테마공간의 전환은 단순한 모방이 아니라 새로운 콘텐츠로 재창조되었음을 밝혔다. 향후 다양한 테마공간의 구체적인 각론적 층위에서의 분석을 통해 양자간의 전환이 효과적으로 작용하고, 다양한 각색 방법이 실질적으로 적용되기를 기대한다.
