  • 교통혼잡의 묘사를 보다 구체적으로 하기 위한 Mesoscopic시뮬레이션 모형으로서 INTEGRATION을 소개한다. 모형의 기본구조가 설명되고, 특히 응용사례로서 경부고속도로 축을 중심으로 한 주거지역의 급속한 팽창으로 야기된 고속도로상의 교통대안을 평가하려는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 교통대안은 혼잡을 완화시키는데 타당하고 기술적으로도 실현가능한 대안이 제시된다. 이러한 대안들은 거시 및 미시 모의실험모형을 통해 면밀히 분석 평가되며 또한 대안을 도출하고 평가하는 과정의 제시로서 교통량조사에 근거한 OD 도출, Subarea 네트워크 분석 및 통합된 네트워크 모의실험과 같은 새로운 기법들이 아울러 제시된다. 대안의 대부분은 네트워크 개선에 관련한 것이다. 반포 IC 진출입로 공사(Al), 위빙 제거를 기초로 한 서초 IC TSM(A2), 서초-양재 구간의 고속 저속 분리(A3), 헌릉 IC(A4)의 신설, 판교 JC 개선(A5), 백현 IC(A6)신설. 가장 자본 집약적인 대안은 A4, A6순이다. A1, A5, A6은 구간은 짧으나, 자본 집약적이며 어느 정도의 공사 기간이 소요된다. 가장 비용이 적게 소요되는 대안은 A2, A3이다. A2는 시행이 용이하나, A3의 경우 공사기간 중 교통분산 대책이 필요하다. A1, A6은 속도증가와 통행시간 절감의 측면에서 가장 비용대비 효율적인 것으로 분석되었다. 시뮬레이션의 한계 및 개선방안이 함께 검토되었다.

  • In preparing a aggregate production plan(APP), the transportation method generally uses a linear planning(LP) software package for TSM(transportation simplex method), which seeks initial solutions with either NCM, LCM, or VAM specialized in transportation issues and optimizes them with either SSM or MODI. On the other hand, this paper proposes a transportation method that easily, quickly, and accurately prepares a APP without software package assistance. This algorithm proposed simply assigned to least cost-first, and minimized the inventory periods. Applying the proposed algorithm to 6-benchmarking data, this algorithm can be obtained better optimal solution than VAM or LP for 4 data, and we obtain the same results for the remained 2 data.

  • Objectives : Oriental pear was used as treatment of asthma, control of blood pressure, diabetes in oriental medicine. The aim of this study was to observe the effects of Phenolic compound extracted from pear and herbal drugs to treat asthma. Methods : In order to study the effect of oral administration of phenolic compound extracted from pear and herbal drugs(Platycodon grandiflorum, Prunus armeniaca) on allergic asthma, mice were pre-treated by oral administration of the solution before antigen sensitization four times for 8 days. 2 days later, mice were actively sensitized with a subcutaneous injection of ovalbumin and 13 days later, they were provoked with ovalbumin aerosols. The animals were divided into four groups; Saline, orally administered saline. PC-A, orally administered Phenolic compound extracted from pear peel 10mg/kg/ml. PC-B, orally administered Phenolic compound extracted from pear peel and flesh 10mg/kg/ml. PC-C, orally administered pear 10m/kg/ml, Platycodon grandiflorum 24.4 mg/kg/ml and Prunus armeniaca 33.3 mg/kg/ml. Serum level of IgE, IL-4, cell numbers in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF), and in vitro isometric contractile responses of the isolated tracheal smooth muscle(TSM) to acetylcholine(ACh, $0.1-1000{\mu}M$), KCl were measured. Results : Contractile responses of TSM to ACh were decreased in PC-A group at Ach 0.1, 0.3, 1 ${\mu}M$, decreased in PC-B at 0.1 ${\mu}M$ and decreased in PC-C at 0.1, 0.3, 1, 10, 30 ${\mu}M$. The maximal contractile response of TSM to KCl was decreased in PC-C group, The cell numbers of eosinophil in BALF were decreased in PC-C group, and those of macrophages in BALF were decreased in PC-A and PC-C group. Interleukin-4 in BALF was decreased in PC-A, PC-B, PC-C group. Conclusion : Based on the above results it is assumed that oral administration of phenolic compound extracted from pear and herbal drugs can help the treatment of deficiency allergic Asthma.

Transportation and Deposition of Modern Sediments in the Southern Yellow Sea

  • Based on the data obtained under the China-Korea joint project (1997-2001) and historic observations, the distribution, transportation and sedimentation of sediment in the southern Yellow Sea (SYS) are discussed, and the controversial formation mechanism of muddy sediments is also explored. The sediment transport trend analysis indicates that the net transport direction of sediment in the central SYS (a fine-grained sediment deposited area) points to $123.4^{\circ}E,\;35.1^{\circ}N$, which is a possible sedimentation center in the central SYS. The sediment transport pattern is verified by the distribution of total suspended matter (TSM) concentration and ${\delta}^{13}C$ values of particulate organic carbon (POC), the latter indicates that the bottom water plays a more important role than the surface water in transporting the terrigenous material to the central deep-water area of the SYS, and the Yellow Sea circulation is an important control factor for the sediment transport pattern in the SYS. The carbon isotope signals of organic matter in sediments indicate that the Shandong subaqueous delta has high sedimentation rate and the deposited sediments originate mainly from the modern Yellow River. The terrigenous sediments in deep-water area of the SYS originate mainly from the old Yellow River and the modern Yellow River, and only a small portion originates from the modern Yangtze River. The analytical results of TSM and stable carbon isotopes are further confirmed by another independent tracer of sediment source, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Five light mineral provinces in the SYS can be identified and they indicate inhomogeneity in sources and sedimentary environment. The modern shelf sedimentary processes in the SYS are controlled by shelf dynamic factors. The muddy depositional systems are produced in the shelf low-energy environments, which are controlled by some meso-scale cyclonic eddies (cold eddies) in the central SYS and the area southwest of the Cheju Island. On the contrary, an anticyclonic muddy depositional system (warm eddy sediment) appears in the southeast of the SYS (the area northwest of the Cheju Island). In this study, we give the cyclonic and anticyclonic eddy sedimentation patterns.

Optimal Solution for Transportation Problems (수송문제의 최적해)

  • This paper proposes an algorithm designed to obtain the optimal solution for transportation problem. The transportation problem could be classified into balanced transportation where supply meets demand, and unbalanced transportation where supply and demand do not converge. The archetypal TSM (Transportation Simplex Method) for this optimal solution firstly converts the unbalanced problem into the balanced problem by adding dummy columns or rows. Then it obtains an initial solution through employment of various methods, including NCM, LCM, VAM, etc. Lastly, it verifies whether or not the initial solution is optimal by employing MODI. The abovementioned algorithm therefore carries out a handful of complicated steps to acquire the optimal solution. The proposed algorithm, on the other hand, skips the conversion stage for unbalanced transportation problem. It does not verify initial solution, either. The suggested algorithm firstly allocates resources so that supply meets demand, in the descending order of its loss cost. Secondly, it optimizes any surplus quantity (the amount by which the initially allocated quantity exceeds demand) in such a way that the loss cost could be minimized Once the above reallocation is terminated, an additional arrangement is carried out by transferring the allocated quantity in columns with the maximum cost to the rows with the minimum transportation cost. Upon application to 2 unbalanced transportation data and 13 balanced transportation data, the proposed algorithm has successfully obtained the optimal solution. Additionally, it generated the optimal solution for 4 data, whose solution the existing methods have failed to obtain. Consequently, the suggested algorithm could be universally applied to the transportation problem.

Distribution and Particle Size of Total Suspended Materials in the northwestern Kwangyang Bay Korea (광양만 서북부 해역의 부유물질의 분포와 입도에 관한연구)

  • 한국남해에 위치한 광양만의 서북부 내만 해역에서 표층수와 저층수의 부유물질 (TSM)의 총함량과 분포의 계절적 변화양상 그리고 부유입자의 조지극성(입자의 크기)이 연 구되었다,. 연구기간중 부유물질 함량분포는 계절별로 매우 뚜렷한 특징을 보였다, 특히 여 름철 저층수의 부유물질 함량이 만조선 해역에서 높게 측정되었다. 이러한 계절별 부유물질 함량분포의 변화 원인은 얕은 수심, 해저의 표층 퇴적상 그리고 조류의 동력적 조건(최고속 도)에 기인하는 것으로 사료된다.

  • This paper presents a sophisticated Sequential Linear Approximation Method(SLAM) to solve nonlinear optimization problem and the performance of this method is compared with those of the Penalty Function Method(SUMT), Tangent Search Method(TSM) and Flexible Tolerance Method(FTM). To improve the convenience and flexibility in using the proposed SLAM, an user oriented design optimization language is developed and the application examples are shown for the optimization of propeller principal dimensions and the optimization of bulk carrier principal particulars.

풀밭 지역 편파별 후방 산란 특성 분석용 알고리즘 개발

  • 본 논문에서는 풀밭으로 덮힌 지역의 초고주파 대역 편파별 후방 산란을 분석하는데 있어서 Radiative Transfer 이론의 첫 번째 해를 이용하였다. 풀밭지역에서의 잎은 사각형 형태의 resistive sheet 으로 모델화 시키고, 잎의 크기와 방향성은 불규칙적으로 흩어져 있다고 가정하였다. 땅에서의 흙의 수분 함유량과 표면 거칠기도 고려하였다. 이러한 지역에서의 후방 산란 계수는 풀밭 지역과 레이더 요소들에 따라 각각 다른 계산 결과를 나타낸다. 측정은 15 GHz 대역의 레이더 시스템을 사용하여 풀 층에서의 산란 계수를 측정하고 풀 층에서의 산란 모델을 이용하여 계산 결과와 측정값을 비교하였고 이 모델을 이용하여 Visual-Basic을 이용한 사용자 프로그램인 TSM(Total Scattering Model)을 제작하였다.

  • It has been employed TRANSYT-7F and NETSIM to evaluate the validity and effectiveness of improvement on TSM(Transportation Systems Management). But T7F is hard to describe platoon compression and dispersion in actually, and NETSIM takes a long time for network coding, calibration and have difficulty in setting up saturation flow. While Shockwave Model have advantage which can describe platoon compression and dispersion in actually and shorten hours, convenience of application. But Shockwave Model apply unrealistic traffic flow relation ship(U-K curve) and simplify platoon because of difficulty in calculating shockwave's position and cross. For solving limitation of existing shockwave models, It develop new model with 2-regime linear model, New platoon model, Extended shockwave, etc. For verifying the validity of the proposed model, it was compared with delay of T7F and NETSIM by offset variation. In conclusion, it is thought that proposed model have outstanding performance to simulate traffic phenomenon.

  • In this paper, we introduce MDA based Development Method for Embedded Software Component. This method applies MDA approach to solve problems about reusability of the heterogeneous embedded software system. With our proposed method, we produce 'Target Independent Meta Model'(TIM) which is transformed into 'Target Specific Model'(TSM) and generate 'Target Dependent Code' (TDC) via TSM. We would like to reuse a meta-model to develop heterogeneous embedded software systems. To achieve this mechanism, we extend xUML to solve unrepresented elements (such as real things about concurrency, and real time, etc) on dynamic modeling of the particular system. We introduce 'MDA based Embedded S/W Modeling Tool' with extended XUML. With this tool, we would like to do more easily modeling embedded or concurrent/real time s/w systems. It contains two examples of heterogeneous imbedded systems which illustrate the proposed approach.
