Objectives : The purpose of the study was to evaluate the related factors of depression in mothers bringing their offspring for evaluation or treatment of problematic behaviors. Methods : Fifty mothers were recruited through their offspring's evaluation or treatment for offspring's problematic behaviors. Psychological tests battery including Korean Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale and the Korean Educational Development Institute-Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children was administered to all mothers and their offspring. Mothers completed Korean version of Child Behavior Checklist (K-CBCL), and teachers completed Teacher's Report Form (TRF). On the basis of the maternal depression, the mothers were divided into two groups. Results : 1) Among the fifty mothers, $42\%$ of the mothers had depressive disorder, $16\%$ had anxiety disorder, and $42\%$ had no psychiatric disorder. 2) Depressed mothers rated significantly higher in aggressive behaviors, externalizing problems of K-CBCL in their children. 3) Children of depressed mothers had lower score in picture arrangement and coding subtests of KEDI-WISC than those of no psychiatric disorder mothers. 4) After controlling for the total problematic behavior scores of TRF, mother's depression is positively correlated with aggressive behaviors, externalizing problems, total problematic behaviors of K-CBCL, and negatively correlated with coding of KEDI-WISC. Conclusion : Children's aggressive behavior, externalizing behavior, total problematic behaviors and low coding score may be associated with mother's depression.

Characterization of quantitative trait loci (QTL) was investigated in the experimental cross population between Berkshire and Yorkshire breed. A total of 512 F$_2$ offspring from 65 matting of F$_1$ parents were phenotyped the carcass traits included average daily gain (ADG), average backfat thickness (ABF), tenth rip backfat thickness (TRF), loin eye area (LEA), and last rip backfat thickness (LRF). All animals were genotyped for 125 markers across the genome. Marker linkage maps were derived and used in QTL analysis based on line cross least squares regression interval mapping. A decision tree to identify QTL with imprinting effects was developed based on tests against the Mendelian mode of QTL expression. To set the evidence of QTL presence, empirical significance thresholds were derived at chromosome-wise and genome-wise levels using specialized permutation strategies. Significance thresholds derived by the permutation test were validated in the data set based on simulation of a pedigree and data structure similar to the Berkshire-Yorkshire population. Genome scan revealed significant evidences for 13 imprinted QTLs affecting growth and body compositions of which nine were identified to be QTL with paternally expressed inheritance mode. Four of QTLs in the loin eye area (LEA), and tenth rip backfat thickness (TRF), a maternally expressed QTL were found on chromosome 10 and 12. These results support the useful statistical models to analyse the imprinting far the QTLs related carcass trait.

Determination of crack depth in filed using the self-calibrating surface wane transmission measurement and the cutting frequency in the transmission function (TRF) is very difficult due to variations of the measurement conditions. In this study, it is proposed to use the measured full TRF as a feature for crack depth assessment. A Principal component analysis (PCA) is employed to generate a basis of the measured TRFs for various crack cases. The measured TRFs are represented by their projections onto the most significant principal components. Then artificial neural networks (NNs) using the PCA-compressed TRFs is applied to assess the crack in concrete. Experimental study is carried out for five different crack cases to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results reveal that the proposed method can be effectively used for the crack depth assessment of concrete structures.

In this paper, we propose the antenna to appropriate for a UWB communication system, and it meets characteristics for location recognition in predetermined range. Proposed tapered slot antenna was designed through the HFSS simulation tool of Ansys. Inc., it was produced by Taconic TRF-45 based on dielectric constant of 4.5, loss tangent 0.0035, thickness 1.62mm. The tapered slot antenna is analyzed the standing wave ratio and reflection coefficient, radiation pattern in the frequency domain. The impedance bandwidth range of the produced tapered slot antenna is from 3.8 ~ 8.9GHz to 5.1GHz, E-plane and H-plane radiation pattern meet directional antenna characteristics for indoor and outdoor location recognition in predetermined range. The antenna gain is 7.4 dBi(6GHz)in the simulation, the result of measurement demonstrated 7.4 dBi(6 GHz) of antenna maximum gain. Proposed tapered slot antenna meets UWB communication system but simulated and measured results were slightly different.

Ozone absorbs ultraviolet light which is harmful to life. However, the recent increase of ambient ozone level due to climate change is becoming the cause of stimulating human eyes, affecting respiratory system, and damaging crops. In this paper, a study was conducted at the Taehwa Research Forest (TRF) of Seoul National University with the purpose of analyzing the characteristics of forest air chemistry based on the measurement of BVOCs emitted from forests and investigating the correlation of BVOCs with ozone generation. The results showed that levels of isoprene and MVK (Methyl Vinyl Keton)+MACR (Methacrolein) were high in summer, but level of monoterpene was high in spring. Ozone level was high from the middle of May to the middle of June, which was before the rainy season. Comparison of the correlation between ozone and isoprene during the measurement period at the TRF showing limited NOx showed that the $R^2$ was correlated with a low value of about 0.4. However, when the isoprene was actively produced from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, correlation analysis showed that $R^2$ was about 0.9, while monoterpene started to increase in the afternoon, and decreased level of ozone at night. Correlation analysis showed negative correlation. Forests have two characteristics: not only the formation of ozone but also the decomposition of ozone.
Ku70/80 heterodimer is a central element in the nonhomologous end joining (NHEJ) DNA repair pathway, Ku80 playing a key role in regulating the multiple functions of Ku proteins. It has been found that the Ku80 protein located at telomeres is a major contributor to radiosensitivity in some telomerase positive human cancer cells. However, in ALT human osteosarcoma cells, the precise function in radiosensitivity and telomere maintenance is still unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Ku80 depletion in the U2OS ALT cell line cell line. Suppression of Ku80 expression was performed using a vector-based shRNA and stable Ku80 knockdown in cells was verified by Western blotting. U2OS cells treated with shRNA-Ku80 showed lower radiobiological parameters (D0, Dq and SF2) in clonogenic assays. Furthermore, shRNA-Ku80 vector transfected cells displayed shortening of the telomere length and showed less expression of TRF2 protein. These results demonstrated that down-regulation of Ku80 can sensitize ALT cells U2OS to radiation, and this radiosensitization is related to telomere length shortening.

In this paper, we have proposed a hexagonal patch UWB antenna with a band notch characteristic where the notch band of 5.15 ~ 5.85 GHz band of WLAN was induced by inserting a circular slit in the patch. The impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna meet the band width criteria of UWB communication system where is mentioned as frequencies range form 3.1 ~ 11.8 GHz. The characteristic band at 5.2 ~ 5.8 GHz notch band was observed. The radiation pattern of the antenna shows a directinal radiation pattern at $0^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$ in XZ-plane and YZ-plane is an omni-directional pattern, respectively. In addition, it is observed that increase in frequency results in increases of the antenna gain whereas the notch band section is decreased. The proposed antenna was designed TRF-45 substrate with thickness of 1.62 mm, a loss tangent of 0.0035, a relative permittivity of 4.5 and designed were used Ansys Inc. HFSS.
Space geodetic techniques can be used to obtain precise shape and rotation information of the Earth. To achieve this, the representative combination solution of each space geodetic technique has to be produced, and then those solutions need to be combined. In this study, the representative combination solution of very long baseline interferometry (VLBI), which is one of the space geodetic techniques, was produced, and the variations in the position coordinate of each station during 7 years were analyzed. Products from five analysis centers of the International VLBI Service for Geodesy and Astrometry (IVS) were used as the input data, and Bernese 5.0, which is the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data processing software, was used. The analysis of the coordinate time series for the 43 VLBI stations indicated that the latitude component error was about 15.6 mm, the longitude component error was about 37.7 mm, and the height component error was about 30.9 mm, with respect to the reference frame, International Terrestrial Reference Frame 2008 (ITRF2008). The velocity vector of the 42 stations excluding the YEBES station showed a magnitude difference of 7.3 mm/yr (30.2%) and a direction difference of $13.8^{\circ}$ (3.8%), with respect to ITRF2008. Among these, the 10 stations in Europe showed a magnitude difference of 7.8 mm/yr (30.3%) and a direction difference of $3.7^{\circ}$ (1.0%), while the 14 stations in North America showed a magnitude difference of 2.7 mm/yr (15.8%) and a direction difference of $10.3^{\circ}$ (2.9%).
The variation in the enzyme activities of human liver usually represents the particular physiological conditions of each individuals. Thus, we investigated the variation in the activities of SOD, HR and LPO of (1) non-exposed workers (56 subjects), and (2) exposed workers to DMF (43 subjects) in synthetic leather process. Serum levels of enzyme activities of exposed workers (AST:$30.26{\pm}20.041$U/L, ALT:$32.72{\pm}23.393$U/L, GGT:$28.47{\pm}18.635$ U/L, ALP:$81.77{\pm}34.879$ U/L)were slightly higher than those in nonexposed workers (AST:$24.00{\pm}9.441$ U/L, ALT:$23.89{\pm}18.305$U/L, GGT:$21.95{\pm}17.970$U/L, ALP:$70.84{\pm}24.678$U/L), but only the level of ALT was statistically significant (p< 0.05). Serum levels of LDH, TRF and CHOL in non-exposed workers were slightly higher than those of exposed workers. However, they were not statistically significant (p > 0.05). Serum levels of HR and LPO of the exposed workers appeared to be reduced, but not those of the non-exposed workers. The SOD activities of exposed workers were also slightly higher than those of non-exposed workers, but the results were not statistically significant (p > 0.05). The level of HR was increased with age, but the SOD level was not. These results suggest that the intermittent exposure to DMF at time-weighted average (TWA) level (10 ppm/$m^3$) has affected on the activities of enzymes such as AST, ALT, TRF, but not on the generation of HR, activity of SOD. However, if high dose of DMF was used, there would be severe effects for the generation of HR and LPO.
