순수 IPv6 망 및 TEIN을 통한 IPv6 기반의 멀티캐스트 화상회의 실험 (Test of IPv6-based multicast video conferencing on Native IPv6 network and TEIN)

  • 본 논문에서는 IPv4 및 IPv6 기반에서 gif 터널링을 방법을 이용한 멀티캐스트 실험 방법을 제시한다. 실험은 ETRI-SNU 자체 개발한 HVIC 툴과 영국의 UCL에서 개발한 vic, nte 응용을 테스트 하였으며, 실험에 이용된 망은 최근 개통된 한-유럽간 연결된 트랜스 유라시아(TEIN: TransEurasia Information Network)망과 ETRI-KOREN-SNU를 잇는 ATM 기반의 IPv6 native 망을 이용하였다. 실험은 크게 3가지 측면이 고려되었다. 즉 1차 IPv4 기반에서 IPv6 터널링 방법을 이용한 실험, 2차 IPv6 기반에서 IPv6 터널링 방법을 이용한 실험과, 3차 ATM 기반의 IPv6 순수 망을 이용한 실험이다.

  • 현재 초고속 인터넷 사용자가 급증하고 있고, 광대역 네트워크 인프라의 구축이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만, 현재 인터넷에서 널리 사용되고 있는 TCP는 기존의 인터넷 환경에 적합하며, 대역폭과 지연의 곱이 큰 네트워크 환경의 트래픽 전송에 있어서는 그 효율성이 낮은 상태이다. 이런 문제점을 개선하기 위해 최근 광대역 네트워크에 적합하도록 개선된 혼잡 제어 알고리즘에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 그 성능 검증이 대부분 시뮬레이션에 의해 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 TCP의 문제점과 이를 해결하기 위해 제안된 고대역 전송 프로토콜(High Bandwidth Transport Layer Protocol)을 간단히 살펴보고, 이의 성능 검증을 위한 실제 테스트베드를 구축하였으며 TEIN2 국제연구망을 통하여 한국, 중국, 독일 3개국 간 국제협력 실험을 통해 고대역 전송 프로토콜의 성능을 측정하고 문제점을 분석하였다.

다지점 오픈플로우 사이트들을 위한 자동화된 연동 도구의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an Automated Inter-connection Tool for Multi-Point OpenFlow Sites)

  • 미래형 서비스 실증을 위해서 실험자들에게 소프트웨어-정의 네트워킹(Software-Defined Networking: SDN)과 클라우드 컴퓨팅(Cloud Computing: CC) 기반으로 융합된 컴퓨팅/네트워킹 자원들을 유연하게 제공하는 통합된 시험/실증 환경의 중요성이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 맞춰서 OF@TEIN(OpenFlow @ Trans Eurasian Information Network) 시험/실증 환경에서는 국내외 다수 지역들에 가상화를 지원하는 융합형 자원인 SmartX Rack들을 설치하고 이들을 오픈플로우(OpenFlow) 기반의 SDN에 의해 연동하여 활용한다. 본 논문에서는 다지점에 설치된 오픈플로우 사이트들을 2계층 이더넷(Ethernet) 차원에서 연동할 때 원하는 토폴로지에 부합하도록 NVGRE(network virtualized generic route encapsulation) 터널링을 자동으로 설정하고 관제하는 관리도구를 소개한다. 제안한 관리 도구를 활용하면 운용자는 다수의 오픈플로우 사이트들간의 네트워크 연동을 신속하고 효율적으로 관리할 수 있고, 이와 동시에 실험자들은 원하는 가상화된 사용자 네트워크(virtual tenant network)를 최대한 자율적으로 구성하고 활용할 수 있다.

Novel $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase Found in the Human Milk Membrane Fraction

  • Calcium-stimulated ATPase ($Ca^{2+}$-ATPase) which has optimal pH value at 7.0 was found in the membrane fraction of human milk, and its enzymatic properties were studied. The purified $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase required 0.45 mM Ca ion for maximal activity. Among the nucleosides, $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase showed a higher substrate specificity to ATP and UTP than to CTP and GTP. $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase had apparent Km value of 0.065, and V max of 7.63 mol ATP hydrolyzed/mg pro-tein per min, respectively. $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase was potently inhibited by lanthanide, vanadate, and p-chloromercuribenzoate, and inactivated by EDTA, and CDTA and EGTA, but were unaffected by N-ethylmaleimide, $NaN_3$, ouabain, or oligomycin, and was completely inactivated by heating at $60^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. This enzyme activity was concentrated in the membrane fraction of the cream and skim milk membrane, but not founded in bovine milk.

마늘장아찌 숙성 중 Alliinase 활성 변화에 관한연구 (Studies on the Changes in the Alliinase Activity during the Aging of Pickled Garlic)

  • Changes in the alliinase activity during the aging of pickled garlic samples prepared by the several methods were investigated. The activity of alliinase in raw garlic was 8,37 units/mg protein. The ac-tivity in the garlic pickled with swoy sauce was reduced to 4.57 units/mg with 52% remaining by 1st week of pickling and to 1.05 units/mg protein with 12% remaining by 2nd week of pickling. The ac-tivity of alliinase in the garlic pickled with vinegar was 2.79 units/mg protein with 32% remaining by 1st week of pickling and was 0.26 units/mg protein only with 3% remaining by 2nd week of pickling. The activity of alliinase in the garlic pickled with 10% salt solution was 5.06 units/mg protein with 58% remaining by 1st week of pickling. After one week pickling the juice of pickled garlic was removed. Then garlics were pickled again with vinegar. The allinase acting in was reduced to 0.85 units/mg pro-tein with 10% remaining by 2nd week of pickling. The activity of alliinase in the garlic pickled with vin-egar was 2.79 units/mg protein with 32% remaining by 1st week of pickling. The juice of pickled garlic was removed after one week. Then the galics were again pickled with saysauce. The allinase activity in the garlic the garlic pickled again with soy sauce was reduced to 0.43 units/mg protein with 5% remain-ing by 2 week of pickling.

수집종 자소의 주요 양적형질의 변이와 화학성분 함량 (Variation of Quantitative Charactes and Chemical Components on Local Collections of Perilla frutescens)

  • Followings are resulted through the analysis of the maln characters and the leaf ingredients, which is on the purpose of getting the basic materials to improve jaso and increase its production.Of the introduced varieties, Jukyeubjaso-stem length is 180cm, ear length is 37cm, No. of branches ofstem is 27, leaf length Is 16cm, leaf width Is 15cm-has better character than any other. Gurye local-stem length is 179cm, ear length is 38cm-is taken to be the best in the Geo-ecotypic.In the yield of leaf and seed, JukyeubJaso Is 727kg/10a, the greatest of all. In the leaf softness, allthe Inirorluced varieties are about 3.5 degrees, the Geo-ecotypic, about 2. The qualify of the introducedvat'ieties is better· than that of the Geo-ecotypic. Estimating on the chemical analysis of leaf,Jukyeubjaso has Protein 21.84%, Total carbohydrate 7.91%, Fe 126ppm, and Gurye lacal has Protein21.7 a, Total carbohydrate 8.4%, Fe 148ppm, expressing the highest. In correlation coefficients of leafchemical components, between protein and Total carbohydrate, Protein and Mn, protein and Fe, Pro-tein and Cu all the sorts show the positive correlation. Among them the Geo-ccoyplcs show the hlghestsignificance.

Change in Levels of Endogenous Hormone and Detection of Adventitious Bud-Related Protein during Culture of Hybrid Poplar Explants

  • Addition of plant growth hormones [0.01 mg/L NAA and 0.2mg/L benzyladenine (BA)] to a woody plant medium stimulated the adventitious bud formation of poplar explants during culture. Endogenous IAA content increased rapidly at the initial culture stage and then decreased, being followed by rapid increment again at the late culture. But the content of trans-zeatin riboside (t-ZR) increased continuously during the culture. Cytoplasmic soluble proteins were analyzed by one- and two-dimensional SDS-PAGE. Increased amount of 40 kD band was detected by one-dimensional electrophoresis using Coomassie Blue staining during the culture and two distinctive proteins whose mol wt is 40,000 were detected by two-dimensional electrophoresis using autoradiography and these proteins were synthesized continuously prior to the adventitious bud formation. When the midvein segments were transferred to the actinomycin D-containing medium, the spots of adventitious bud-related proteins(ABRPs) did not disappeared but weakened in intensity. So, it is concluded that genes coding for the ABRPs are regulated to some degree at the transcriptional level. Also, they were not observed in BA-free medium, suggesting that these proteins be regulated by cytokinin, which made then possible to form the adventitious bud.

Identifiaction and Molecular Size of Zine-Binding Ligands in Pancreatic/Biliary Fluid of Rats

  • the exocrine pancreatic secretion is an important factor in the maintenance of zinc homeostasis. The daily pancreatic secretion of zinc into the gastrointestinal tract may be two or more times the daily dietary zinc intake. The objective of this study was to examine the distribution of proteins and zinc in pancreatic/biliary fluid following intraperitoneal {TEX}${65}^Zn${/TEX} injection into dietary prepared Sprague-Dawly rats. Distribution of zinc-binding protein in Sephadex G-75 subfractions showed a peak corresponding to the high molecular weight protein standard(<66kDa) in the pancreatic/biliary fluid. Zinc also was associated with the 29~35kDa mole-cular weight proteins. These are similar in size with zinc-containing enzymes, carboxypeptidase A and car-boxypeptidase B. A more remarkable small molecular weight fraction eluted beyond the 6.5kDa standard pro-tein peak. These results show the presence of small molecular weight compound in pancreatic/biliary fluid associated with zinc . These small molecular weight compounds may serve as zinc-binding ligands for the secretion of enogenous zinc into the duodenum. These findings suggest that these lignads may dissociate zinc in the duodenum thus making it vulnerable to complexation with phytate in the upper gastrointestinal tract rendering the zinc unavailable for reabsorption.

어분 단백질의 기능성 개량 (Improving Functional Properties of Fish Meal Protein)

  • In order to assess fish meal as food protein source which contains heat denatured pro-tein, functional properties of fish meal protein to be treated with alkaline were examined. Ratio of fish meal to 0.2N NaOH solution for extract solvent which were 1:10 showed good results of extracted and recovered amount of fish meal protein. pH 4.5, solubility of protein treated with alkaline revealed the lowest value. Until concentrations of alkaline treated protein solution reached $0.7\%$, its emulsifying capacity steeply decreased. Emusifying capacity of alkali treated protein were higher value at pH 9.0 than pH 4.0 and 7.0, and also were higher quantity in 0.5M NaCl solution than that of 0.1M. Heating time of fish meal protein to be treated with alkaline reached until 30 mins, its fat binding capacity indicated little change and that of heating time 60 mins decreased. Gel forming concentrations of fish meal protein to be treated with alkali for 15 mins or less were $20\%$ but those of 30 and 60 mins were $25\%$. When treating time of fish meal protein with alkali solution reached till 20 mins, viscosity of alkali treated protein solution steeply decreased.

NMDA 수용체 아단위 2B의 Tyrosine 인산화 위치의 동정 (Identification of a Potential Tyrosine Phosphorylation Site on the NR2B Subunit of the N-methyl-D-aspartate Receptor)

  • NR2B는 연접후 치밀질의 주요 tyrosine 인산화 단백질이다. 본 연구에서는 mass spectrometry 방법을 적용하여 NR2B의 tyrosine 인산화 위치를 동정하였다. NR2B를 N-octyl glucoside (NOG)에 용해되지 않는 PSD 분획으로부터 SDS-PAGE와 electroelution방법으로 분리하였다. 분리한 단백질을 NR2B와 phos-photyrosine에 특이한 항체로 조사한 결과 이들은 phosphotyrosine을 유지하고 있는 NR2B임이 확인되었다. 이 단백질을 trypsin 혹은 endolys-C 처리하고, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry 방법으로 조사한 결과 Tyr-1304이 인산화됨을 확인하였다.
