The Method of Automatic Train Control Pattern for Light Rail Transit (경량전철의 자동운전패턴에 관한 기법)

  • This paper proposes the train control system for the LRT(light rail transit). With regard to information processing in car, we build a computer network in the car, turned the hardware required for train control into software, and developed the train control monitoring system(TCMS) and ATC. Drive type of train control system car can drive with driverless mode basically, and this paper applied special communication type for car control, data analysis, the propulsion efforts and breaking effort can control the cars. It is used vector control in propulsion control and proposed operating pattern for propulsion control thinking operating data of rubber tire LRT.

  • With more than 100 years exploration and development of offshore oil, more and more offshore oil fields will gradually lose the economic profit to operate. In this article, to take the target oil field for example, the procedure of decommissioning for FPSO, TCMS, subsea system and well abandonment have been analyzed. Meanwhile, the environment impact and mitigation measure have been proposed. The successful project experience will provide a guide line for the offshore facilities decommissioning and abandonment.

  • The ATO(Automatic Train Operation) System is used for train operation instead of dreivers. It is interfaced with TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System) and ATC/TWC system in the train and wayside facilities. In this paper describes configuration of ATO, Specification of ATO hardware, construction of ATO software and the algorithm for automatic train speed regulation in the carborn ATO system. This paper is mainly concerned with the development of the ATO System. The ATO system is used for automatic or driverless operation of a train using various informations from TCMS, ATC, TWC. In this paper, the general architecture of the ATO system, implementation of ATO application software and the algorithm using servo-controller for automatic train speed controller.

  • The object of the study is to propose the control method of FSB(full service brake) for the standard EMU. Recently, the variable control function was applied to train by introducing the TCMS. When the vehicle in the train fails, the emergency brake of the train should be automatically operated. In case of VVVF EMU operated by the TCMS, the FSB is applied to the train for safety instead of emergency brake. When the FSB is applied to train regardless of its weight and the numbers, the train safety operation may not be obstained. Therefore, the FSB force which considers its weight and numbers should be applied to the train. This paper describes the blending brake control for standard EMU. The control algorithm of the FSB is proposed and its simulation was carried out by using MATLAB.

  • This paper is intended to provide a method to design control software for the TCMS, train control and monitoring system. The TCMS with this control software will be applied KOREA Standard EMU. The control software is designed by SCADE Case tool to concern safety and reliability. The function for the EMU is implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. The control software has modular design and each module is tested with SCADE simulator. This time we focus a door control module, present a design method and a simulation method for that module.

  • This paper presents the system of analyzing data in memory of TCMS. This system can show physical data in memory to text and graphic : format. To transfer data from TCMS to this system, a large number of system have used to memory IC card. the method of using memory IC card as a intermediation has many points at issue, that is a speed of transmitting data, life time of IC card and identity of train system each other. So this paper proposes that the method of wireless LAM be adopted by this system to improve the week point of previous method and other method to better the method of wireless LAN.

  • These days customers require various things such as multiple train, variable trainset, multiple Auxiliary Power Generator(APG) and so on. Among these, the train with multiple APG is installed with APG in each car. Thus, we control and monitor train installed with multiple APG through the TCMS(Train Control & Monitoring System). The TCMS supervise APG failure status and transmit control data in case of a APG failure or more, so energize or de-energize ESK and LRR. Therefore, we can easily control ESK and LRR which gets hard to control because of multiple APG.

  • Urban transit vehicle that uses electrical energy, is faster, safer and energy-efficient public transit than other means. As a Research method, the Matlab/Simulink are used to modeling a regenerative brake-capable train, and actual parameters such as powering and braking characteristics, all kinds of resistance, passenger load, velocity, gradient, radius of curve etc and powering and breaking commands per time or distance are inputted to train's dynamic equation, then a simulation program is made and used to yield train driving pattern and driving time and the amount of driving energy used thereby at auto and manual operation and at all sector.
