융합기술수용모델을 이용한 모바일 클라우드 서비스 이용의도 분석 (Analysis of Use Intention of Mobile Cloud Service using a Convergence Technology Acceptance Model)

  • 스마트 디바이스의 확산과 모바일 속도와 접근의 편리성 향상됨에 따라 다양한 스마트 디바이스에서 동일 작업을 할 수 있는 모바일 클라우드 서비스를 촉진시키고 있다. 본 논문은 모바일 클라우드 서비스의 이용의도의 영향요인 분석을 위한 탐색적 연구이다. 본 연구는 모바일 클라우드 서비스를 대상으로 이용의도 분석을 위해서 TAM, VAM과 UTAUT을 결합은 융합수용모델을 개발하여 적용하기로 한다. 제안하는 탐색 모델은 단말 이동성, 높은 가용성, 손쉬운 접근성, 서비스 확장성 등과 같은 모바일 클라우드 서비스의 특성을 포함한 TAM, VAM과 UTAUT를 적용하여 모바일 클라우드 서비스의 이용의도의 중요 요인을 파악하기 위해 가설을 수립하고 이를 검증한다. 궁극적으로 본 연구를 통하여 이용자들의 모바일 클라우드 서비스의 사용의도를 이해할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 모바일 클라우드 서비스 제공자들이 보다 효과적인 모바일 클라우드 서비스 개발과 전략 수립을 위한 방향성을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

GSS 사용과 성과 요인 : TAM, TTF, 조직구조화이론(AST) 혼합모형 (The Influence Factors on Usage and Performance of Group Support System)

  • This study investigates the effects of individual and group level factors on the use of GSS (Group Support System) and task performance from GSS use. GSS facilitates the group work, so that GSS adoption is not necessarily influenced only by individual perceptions on information systems as TAM insists. Adaptive Structuration. Theory (AST) joins with TAM in our study to explain the adoption and success from GSS use. AST contends that the success of IS is not necessarily the technical fit between tasks and technology, instead the political outcome among user socializations. We found that collected data from 303 individual IT staffs in a national bank. Our results demonstrate that traditional theories on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) need to be refined, when considering the TTF(task-technology fit). TTF render high influences on PU(perceived usefulness). PEU(perceived ease of use) and FOA(faithfulness on appropriation). And FOA influences highly on our dependent variable. Implications and directions for future research are discussed.

Up-regulation of HOXB cluster genes are epigenetically regulated in tamoxifen-resistant MCF7 breast cancer cells

  • Tamoxifen (TAM) is commonly used to treat estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer. Despite the remarkable benefits, resistance to TAM presents a serious therapeutic challenge. Since several HOX transcription factors have been proposed as strong candidates in the development of resistance to TAM therapy in breast cancer, we generated an in vitro model of acquired TAM resistance using ER-positive MCF7 breast cancer cells (MCF7-TAMR), and analyzed the expression pattern and epigenetic states of HOX genes. HOXB cluster genes were uniquely up-regulated in MCF7-TAMR cells. Survival analysis of in slico data showed the correlation of high expression of HOXB genes with poor response to TAM in ER-positive breast cancer patients treated with TAM. Gain- and loss-of-function experiments showed that the overexpression of multi HOXB genes in MCF7 renders cancer cells more resistant to TAM, whereas the knockdown restores TAM sensitivity. Furthermore, activation of HOXB genes in MCF7-TAMR was associated with histone modifications, particularly the gain of H3K9ac. These findings imply that the activation of HOXB genes mediate the development of TAM resistance, and represent a target for development of new strategies to prevent or reverse TAM resistance.

건강의식과 유희성이 체감형 피트니스 게임수용에 미치는 영향: 확장된 기술수용모델 (The Effect of Health Consciousness and Playfulness on Intention to Use Tangible Fitness Game: Extended TAM)

  • 이 연구는 체감형 피트니스 게임의 수용모델을 제안하기 위해 건강의식, 유희성이 기술수용모델의 선행변인으로서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 구조방정식 모델을 통해서 검증하였다. 먼저 기술수용모델의 핵심변인인 지각된 유용성과 사용용이성이 체감형 피트니스 게임이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 체감형 피트니스 게임이용과정에서의 기술수용모델의 적용성을 확인하였다. 또한 건강에 대한 중요성, 신념, 관심을 의미하는 건강의식이 체감형 피트니스 게임에 대한 유용성과 정적인 관계를 보였으며 유용성을 매개로 하여 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유희성은 유용성과 사용용이성을 매개로 하여 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 체감형 피트니스 게임의 이용의도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 기술수용의 확장모델을 통해 검증함으로써 이론적 설명력을 풍부하게 하는데 기여하고 있다.

브랜드앱(Branded App)의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 기술수용 모델(TAM)을 중심으로 (An Investigation of Factors Affecting Consumer Intention to Use Branded App : Focused on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM))

  • As the smart phone devices gain popularity, companies no longer consider mobile application marketing as an auxiliary marketing tactic. The branded mobile application (branded app) becomes an important part of marketing strategies. This study is an attempt to investigate antecedents of the use intention of the branded app from the perspective of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). This study takes a macro perspective in explaining the adoption process by incorporating a set of new, yet promising additional variables into the TAM model such as flow experience, benefits, innovation inclination, and customization features. Data were collected by using a survey research. A total of 270 responses were collected. Questionnaires from 25 individuals were removed from the data set due to the insincere responses, leaving the final sample size of 245. Findings support all but one hypotheses of the study. Both perceived utilitarian benefits and customization features of the branded app were found to have positive influences on the perceived usefulness of the branded app. Also, the innovation inclination and perceived entertainment of branded app users showed positive influences on the perceived ease of use of branded app. In addition, it was shown that the perceived usefulness about the use of the branded app influenced positively the flow experience and the users' attitudes toward branded app. Also, the ease of use perceived by branded app users had positive influences on the perceived usefulness and the user's attitude toward branded app. However, the ease of use of branded app did not have a significant influence on the flow experience among users. Moreover, the flow experience from the use of branded app users influenced positively the user's attitude toward branded app. Finally, the users' attitudes toward branded app had positive influences on their intention to use the branded app. Implications for practitioners and academicians are provided.

국립공원 유비쿼터스 관리시스템 도입 방안 - 관리자 기술수용모델 적용을 중심으로 - (A Study on Application of Ubiquitous Management System in National Park - Focused on the Technology Acceptance Model of Managers' -)

  • u-Park는 친환경적 USN과 u-IT 기술을 토대로 자원 및 시설물들이 지능화되고 그에 관련된 정보가 통합적으로 관리되는 공원이다. u-Park 관리시스템의 도입을 통해 관리효율성 증대를 도모하고 과학적 수용력 관리를 실현하기 위해서는 국립공원관리자가 새로 도입되는 u-Park 관리시스템을 수용할 수 있어야 한다. 관리자의 u-Park 관리 시스템 기술수용과정을 규명하기 위해 기술수용모델(TAM) 구조방정식을 설정하였다. 5개 산악형 국립공원에 근무하는 국립공원관리공단 직원 176명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과 TAM 구조방정식의 설명력은 55.2%이며, u-Park 관리시스템이 현재 업무 내용과 관리자의 업무 처리 방식에 호환되는 정도가 관리자의 기술수용에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

한국 TAM 실증연구의 동일방법편의 분석 (Analyzing Common Method Bias of the Korean Empirical Studies on Technology Acceptance Model)

  • Common Method Bias(CMB) may cause the potential inflation of correlations between measures assessed via the same method. The problem of CMB has been well known in behavioral sciences because the survey method with self-reporting is vulnerable to CMB. Thus, the discussion on CMB is still ongoing in the MIS research in US. However, in Korea, the MIS research has never paid attention on the CMB problem. The purpose of this study is to examine the CMB problem in the Korean MIS research. To evaluate the effect of CMB, empirical studies on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) are selected because (1) TAM is one of the MIS research areas studied intensively, (2) TAM is a theoretical model well supported by the existing empirical studies so that the result of this study would have a great ripple effect when the CMB problem turned out to be serious, (3) CMB is domain-specific. 47 TAM samples (out of 45 studies) from three Korean Journals were selected and the relevant data were collected such as correlation matrixes and the measures of the dependent variable. To find and evaluate the size of CMB, two analytic methods (Marker-Variable Technique and Method-Method Pair Technique) are employed. The result showed that there exists CMB in the Korean studies but the problem is not so serious to distort the empirical testing, compared with that of US studies. However, considering that CMB can contaminate the testing results, Korean MIS researchers should explicitly deal with the problem in designing empirical studies and collecting data.

  • 이 연구에서는 기술수용모델(Technology Acceptance Model: TAM)을 적용하여 카드뉴스 이용자의 정보추구성향과 뉴스 리터러시가 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성에 미치는 영향, 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성이 추천의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 카드 뉴스 이용 경험이 있는 대학생 400명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 통계분석은 구조방정식모델(SEM)을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 정보추구성향은 지각된 용이성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 뉴스 리터러시는 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성 모두에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 용이성은 지각된 유용성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성 모두는 추천의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Determinants of the adoption of new equipment at the individual level within an organization

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a new equipment acceptance model in the industrial market and test it empirically using a field survey. To define new equipment acceptance factors of employees in the organization, we used the TAM as a useful model to analyze the acceptance process of new equipment. All of the data for the TAM were collected from the employees. Prior research studied the usage of general information technology using a computer and particular software, while we apply the TAM to the new equipment adoption. In this study, both theoretical review and empirical study were conducted and the model was set through the theoretical study which was tested through the empirical analysis. Management support and training/education were shown to have a positive effect on PU and PEOU. Personal innovativeness, management support, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were shown to have a positive effect on behavioral intention.

확장된 기술수용모델에 따른 그룹웨어의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Extended TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and Groupware Usage Intention)

  • With the increased importance of groupware in organizations, groupware acceptance is regarded as an important outcome in the efforts of firms to leverage the potential of this information technology in their business activities and strategies. Despite significant investments in groupware, considerable diversity exists in how well firms have been able to implement groupware and leverage the business value of groupware. This study identifies important factors influencing user acceptance of groupware by extending TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) which includes perceived control, intrinsic motivation, and concentration as well as perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness from original TAM. The proposed model is tested in an organization among 104 employees using previous research measurements. According to the findings from the study, the usage intention of groupware can be explained by intrinsic motivation, perceived control, perceived ease of use, and Perceived usefulness. However, it fails to explain the effect of concentration on the intention.
