  • The purposes of this study were to examine the factors affecting the avatar addictive buying behavior. The survey subjects were 220 females and males who had purchased avatar items in the internet. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and regression analysis were used. In the results, first, the frequency test of quantity of owned items, payment method, main using site, frequency of purchase, and price of purchase was conducted to reveal the avatar addictive buying behavior. Second, the avatar addictive buying behavior was classified into three factors: conspicuous addictive, psychological addictive and habitual addictive. Also, the pursuit of pleasure was classified into three factors: superiority, pastime and enjoyment. Third, flow, vicarious satisfaction, stress, superiority and pastime affected avatar addictive buying behavior. Based on these results, fashion marketing strategies and implications regarding avatar addictive buying were suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of college students' relationship status on their clothing behavior and purchasing process. The subjects of this study were college students. After a survey, 113 questionnaires were used for the data analysis excluding incomplete ones. Factor analysis, paired t-test, Pearson's correlation, one-way ANOVA, MANOVA and Chi-square test were conducted. The data analysis found that female students had higher levels of clothing interest, and fashion-seeking, impulse buying and individuality-seeking motives than male students. Female students who had boyfriends showed particularly higher levels of fashion-seeking and impulse-buying motives. Throughout the clothing purchase process stages, students were most influenced by girlfriend/boyfriend, especially in the evaluation stage. Students who had girlfriends/boyfriends were significantly more influenced by them. Female students were more influenced by parents at the evaluation stage and their female friends at the information search stage.

  • In this study, the Dilution Method is used to measure river discharge through the hydraulic model test. the dilution method is divided into Constant-Rate-Infection Method and Slug-Injection Method in the river discharge measurement techniques. When the dilution method is applied in the hydraulic model flume, it is analyzed that the estimated error of constant-rate-injection method is less than that of the slug-in-jection method, and the result shows that floodflow analysis is more efficient than lowflow analysis as compared observed discharge with calculated discharge. The result of statistical error analysis shows that the constant-rate-injection method is appropriate technique for the measurement of the river discharge. Therefore, the dilution method among the river discharge measurement techniques can be applied for the river basin which can't be measured with current meter or unsteady-flow regime in the urban-small drainage or hydraulic structure equipment area and can be obtained more exact results than any other discharge measurement techniques.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in irrational faith and the school adaptation of elementary school students by experimental group and control group. To achieve these goals, the followings are setting the programs. The subjects are selected from grade 4, 5, 6 students from the elementary schools. The tools used for this study were Irrational faith Test and School adaptation Test. The followings are the results of the analysis of the collected data. First, in the analysis of irrational faith, there is no significant difference between experimental group and control group. Second, in the analysis of school adaptation, there is significant difference between experimental group and control group(t=.05, p<.05).

  • The objectives of this study are ; 1) To analyze the time use and the invironments of rural housewives household labor according to the characteristics of agriculture. 2) To investigate the factors influencing household labor time. In this study, the rural areas are divided into two groups according to characteristics of agriculture. One is traditional agricultural area-Seokchon Dong in Youngcheon Kun, and the other is commercial agricultural area-Dongpo 1 Dong in Sungju Kun. Two areas are located in Kyungpook Province. 145 housewives dwelling in above two villiages were interviewed. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentile, T-test, x2-test, and multiple regression analysis. Results are as follows; 1) household labor time had not significant differences Hetween Youngcheon and Sungju. But agricultural labor time was longer in Sungju than in Youngcheon. 2) household labor environments in Sungju were better than those in Youngcheon. 3) household labor time was influenced by agricultural labor time and socio-cultural time.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and profile Korean women's fashion opinion leaders on demographic, psychological and communication channels dimensions. The questionnaire was administered to 1204 students from a purposively selected. women's universities in Seoul. The data was analyzed using $X^2$-test, t-test, multiple regression analysis and discriminant analysis, The significance level was set at. 05. The major findings derived from analysis are as follows: 1. Fashion opinion leaders are generally come from families with higher income, more education and higher occupational status than followers. 2. Fashion opinion leaders are more likely to be exhibitionistic, self-confident, individualistic, risk taking and gregarious than followers. 3. Fashion opinion leaders are more exposed to impersonal communication media, especially to fashion magazines than followers. These findings imply an obvious usefulness for both manufacturers in the apparel industry as well as retailers to help them in the identification of their target market for the introduction and acceptance of fashion items.

  • Combustion instability in solid-propellant rocket motors depends on the balance between acoustic energy gains and losses of the system. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the capability of the program which predicts the standard longitudinal stability using acoustic modes based on linear stability analysis and T-burner test results of propellants. Commercial ANSYS 5.0A program can be used to calculate the acoustic characteristic of a rocket motor. The linear stability prediction was compared with the static firing test results of rocket motors.
