  • The purpose of this study was to measure married women's coping behaviors according to support stress. The data of this study were obtained from 545 married women who were daughter and daughter-in-law. For analysis of data, Factor Analysis, GLM, t-test, Regression, Pearson's Correlation. The results are as follows: 1. Coping behaviors were composed seven factors that are Mental Disengagement, Venting of Emotions, Restraint, Seeking Support, Acceptance, Active Coping, Turning to Religion. 2. Among the sociodemographic variables, relation, age of mother(p<0.01), income, grown place of supporter, living arrangement(p<0.05) were variables to have influence on the coping behaviors to support stress. 3. There was high correlation between support stress and the coping behaviors. (γ=.4339) 4. There was significant different between the higher group and the lower group of support stress on the coping behaviors.

  • Barber bogie and Y25 bogie is the main bogie of freight car which is used in the Korean railway. In case of Barber bogie and a mixed formation tile maximum speed limit of empty car is 70 km/h and that of loaded car is 90 km/t and also it runs a speed of 110 km/h in time of an exclusive formation of Y25 bogie. The car named as high speed freight car at present is Y25 bogie which modeled on the Y25 bogie or Europe developed in 1993, Y25 bogie has no problem about the running capacity up to the speed of 110 km/h, but it works as limiting factors to tile increasing cost of maintenance and repair expenses which caused by repair of bogie and the cost of materials. This study is going to describe the contents examined by analysis and tests, aimed at being used as an index of plan in the future through the strength test of high speed freight car which is used now.

  • To increase the functionality of the memories, previous studies have deifned faults models and proposed functional testing algorithms with low complexity. Although conventional testing depended strongly on functional (voltage) testing method, it couldn't detect short and open defects caused by gate oxide short and spot defect which can afect memory reliability. Therefore, IDDQ (quiescent power supply current) testing is required to detect defects and thus can obtain high reliability. In this paper, we consider resistive shorts on gate-source, gate-drain, and drain-source as well as opens in mOS FET and observe behavior of the memory by analyzing voltage at storge nodes of the memory and IDDQ resulting from PSPICE simulation. Finally, using this behavioral analysis, we propose a linear testing algorithm of complexity O(N) which can be applicable to both functional testing and IDDQ testing simultaneously to obtain high functionality and reliability.

  • Modern consumers seek various pleasure and fun through shopping. Retailing are offering apparel products with entertainment services to customers such as movie theaters, restaurants and so on. The purposes of this study was investigate the effect of entertainment service on impulse buying behavior. Data were obtained from shoppers (N=684) randomly selected department stores and shopping malls located in Seoul and Busan. They were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test and cross analysis. The results showed that entertainment service users showed likely to be more recreational orientation, to be more pleasure, and better mood in retailing environment than entertainment service non-users. That is entertainment service users were more likely to buy impulsively during shopping than entertainment service non-users. Implication and future research directions discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of high school students on foodservice. A survey from 8 high school foodservice operations in Seoul was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 538 high school students. Completed questionnaires were received from 3 self-operated and 5 contracted school foodservice operations. Statistical analyses were performed by SPSS including descriptive analysis and t-test. The 49.8% of the respondent students were male and 50.2% female. The whole students assessed the importance and performance of school foodservice as 4.18 and 2.83 out of 5 respectively, which suggests that the school foodservice needs to be improved. The Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) used for obtaining information on high school foodservice management suggested that foodservice attributes with fair to poor performance but with high importance were sanitation of food, service of foodservice personnel, dealing with complaints and the reflection of students'opinion in menu.

  • This study investigated gender differences in the factors affecting elementary school students' ability to identify scientific problems. Scientific problem finding tasks, involving written instruments including IQ tests, content knowledge, science process skills, divergent thinking skills, intrinsic/extrinsic motivation, personality traits, and home environment were administered to 96 elementary school students(male; 50 & female: 46). The data collected was analyzed by means of a t-test, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis, and canonical correlation analysis. The finding indicated that there were significant gender differences in scientific problem finding performance. Female students were significantly higher in both total score and elaborate score of scientific problem finding than male students. Personality traits and intrinsic motivation positively and extrinsic motivation negatively predicted male students' abilities in scientific problem finding. Science process skills, personality traits and intrinsic motivation positively and extrinsic motivation negatively predicted female students' scientific problem finding and IQ positively predicted female students' elaborate score of scientific problem finding.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine wives' subjective perception about recovery degree of household consumption level after-before IMF and it's influencing variables. The data used were obtained from 250wives in Seoul. Statistics performed for the analysis were Frequency Percentile Means t-test Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows; First household consumption level after IMF was lower than before IMF household-wives had little perception of recovery for economics. Second the difference of household consumption level after-before IMF was affected by income income-change The higher income and income-change were the higher difference of consumption level-after-before IMF was. Third the consumption level after IMF as affected by age income assets. The higher age income and assets were the higher consumption level after IMF was.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes toward divorce of young men and women. The data were collected by questionnaire from 425 respondents who resided in Sunchon. Statistical methods for the data analysis were frequencies, one-way ANOVA, t-test. The data analysis revealed that the young men and women accepted divorce as an alternative to unhappy marriage and there were significant gender differences in the attitudes toward divorce. Women accepted divorce more positively as an alternative than men in every conditions. Men accepted divorce remarkably as an alternative to unfaithful debauchery of spouse, but women accepted divorce extremely well as an alternative to wrongdoing of spouse. Most of young men and women were worried about children, but not a few of them did not perceived themselves as child rearer. This results showed that divorce will be increased and perceived differently by gender. The young men and women who had lower conservative familism, who were younger, and who had higher education responded more positively about divorce.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine maximal width of bodice and skirt pattern of 50 college girls for more scientific patternmaking development in clothing construction. The body measurements data of this study was calculated by SAS, means analysis, regression analysis and T-test were used. The results are as follows. 1. The results of analyzing the whole 85 items of the entire body measurements of model are in table 2. 2. It was suggested the whole average cross section of measurement parts by rohrer index as the result of gathering the each section. 3. Representative items were suggested as fundamental parts in determining the maximal width of bodice and skirt basic pattern by rohrer index. 4. The entire abbreviated calculation formula of bodice and xkirt pattern was suggested.

  • In this study, roll lock-in phenomena of freely spinning tailfins were investigated by a CFD code. To analyze a motion of freely spinning tailfins, this research use a Chimera method, an Euler code and a 6 degrees of freedom analysis. The numerical results of aerodynamic characteristics and roll rates of a canard-controlled missile with freely spinning tailfins show a good agreement with wind tunnel test results. Using the roll rates calculation result of freely spinning tailfins, roll lock-in phenomena is confirmed. Roll lock-in phenomena and Roll lock-in states can be predicted through effects of the induced vortex of the canards control and the analysis of the rolling moments of tailfins due to the bank angle.
