Properties Hall Effect of Indium sulfide Thin Film Prepared by Spray Pyrolysis Method (분무합성법으로 성장시킨 Indium Sulfide 박막의 Hall 효과 특성)

  • The $In_2S_3\;and\;In_2S_3:Co^{2+}$ thin films were grown by the spray Pyrolysis method. The thin films crystallized into tetragonal structures. The indirect energy band gap was 2.32ev for $In_2S_3\;and\;1.81eV\;for\;In_2S_3:Co^{2+}$ at 298K. The direct energy band gap was 2.67ev for $In_2S_3:Co^{2+}$ thin films. Impurity optical absorption peaks were observed for the $In_2S_3:Co^{2+}$ thin films. These impurity absorption peaks are assigned, based on the crystal field theory to the electron transitions between the energy levels of the $Co^{2+}$ ion sited in $T_{d}$ symmetry. The electrical conductivity($\sigma$), Hall mobility(${\mu}_H$), and carrier concentration (n) of the $In_2Se_3$ thin film were measured, and their temperature dependence was investigated.

NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON BOTTOM GAP OF MICRO FLOW SENSOR

  • Micro sensor is very useful for flow measurements in a number of engineering applications. Especially, it is necessary for the development of MEMS. This paper presents the 3D numerical simulation of flows around a micro flow sensor, which is mounted on a flat plate. The effects of the sensor configuration (i.e. bottom gap) and the Reynolds number on the flow field are numerically investigated. The numerical results indicate that the bottom gap clearly affects the flow fields over the top surface of the sensor. The Reynolds numbers also show a significant influence on the flow nature, especially on the recirculation zone at downstream of the sensor. The present results illustrate a certain improvement on the flow field for the sensor installed at O.5mm above the wall with four pillars, comparing with that directly mounted on the wall.

  • The purpose of this study is to define the different stage of global management cultures for localization from the case study of two respective multinational corporations, Nestle and Samsung Electronics invested in Vietnam, and then to find out on how Korean multinational corporations can reduce the gap of global management culture compared to global multinational corporations. In fact, Samsung has been pretty much being on a right track from the global marketing management perspective, however still stand at the beginning stage in terms of leading the global corporate culture. In comparison to Nestle with over 130 years of worldwide business experience, Samsung Electronics having only a decade global experience as a Korean multinational corporation has been found to have an obvious gap in terms of globalization which is mainly caused by global corporate culture. Even though it doesn’t seem realistic for Korean multinational corporations to immediately catch up the gap of global corporate culture against global multinational corporations with long years of global experiences and history, Korean multinational corporations need to track the foot print of every steps of globalization particularly focused on the local management culture of global multinational corporations, so that they will be able to shorten the timing to develop the true meaning of global corporate culture being evolved from the Korean management style.

  • Drifter is equipment which is hard to localize. Performance of prototype hasn't performed well compared to product of leading companies even though advanced foreign firm's product were dead copied. This study shows cases of approaching the factor which produces performance gap through drifter hydraulic analysis model which is core component of rock drill. Progression of procedure is following. 1) Securing reliability of the analysis model by comparing impact test result with analysis result. 2) Drawing a graph which indicates performance gap between prototype and drifter of advanced foreign firm by using analysis model. 3) Approaching the factor which produces performance gap with analysing variable of the analysis model. Software used for this analysis is SimulationX.

  • This paper presents the experiment results for a CFT column confined by carbon fiber sheets(CFSs) under an axial load. Nine specimens were constructed and axial compression tests were conducted. The main experiment parameters were diameter-thickness ratio(D/t), reinforcing CFSa, and the attachment of a cushion gap between surface of steel tube and CFSs. The load-displacement curves of the specimens were obtained from the compression tests. Finally, it was concluded that the CFT column with a gap had grater ductility capacity improvement that the CFT column confined by CFSs.

  • Partial discharges(PD) in air insulated electric power systems cause power loss, produce interfering electromagnetic radiation, and can indicate incipient failure. An understanding of PD in air gap is clearly important. The Wavelet transformation is an extended method of fourier transformation. The fourier method is a powerful tool for signal analysis, but it can't include informations for time. However tile wavelet transformation analysis can include on the informations of time and frequency at the same time. In this paper we apply the wavelet transformation to the PD signals in needle-plane air gap for tile purpose of analysis of developing aspects of PD. We can analyze the developing aspects of PD, namely, PD current, repetition rates, width of pulse distribution region, pulseless region and frequencies distribution of PD pulses.

  • The Information society is accelerating it's speed of change with the IT technology at the center of it and the society as a whole is in the process of transition. The purpose of study is to reveal the information gap among the public servants of Chungbuk Province. For that reason this study on the information gap of the officers is considering the effectiveness of IT. First, A theoretical approach has been made about Information Divide. Second, the analysis of questionaire on the information divide use frequency analysis, means analysis, factor analysis, and t-test.

A Study on the Evaluation and Improvement of Staff Services Quality in Academic Library (대학도서관의 인적 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the gap between university students' cognitions and expectations on users' cognitions about dimensions of library staff service quality and the reason of gap. The results showed that the overal service didn't reach the users' minimum expectation. Among the every item of service quality, the greatest expectation service was the quick delivery of non home library materials and staff's politeness. The most great was in-depth subject services and friendly encounter. The staff service quality gave the library satisfaction; in-depth subject services, exact understanding of user needs and politeness. The great gaps were caused to the lack of willingness to answer question, the lack of communication, and the lack of user care etc.

Design and Analysis of Lorentz Force-type Magnetic Bearing Based on High Precision and Low Power Consumption

  • Magnetically suspended control & sensitive gyroscope (MSCSG) is a novel type of gyroscope with the integration of attitude control and attitude angular measurement. To improve the precision and reduce the power consumption of Lorentz Force-type Magnetic Bearing (LFMB), the air gap flux density distribution of LFMB has been studied. The uniformity of air gap flux density is defined to qualify the uniform degree of the air gap flux density distribution. Considering the consumption, the average value of flux density is defined as well. Some optimal designs and analyses of LFMB are carried out by finite element simulation. The strength of the permanent magnet is taken into consideration during the machining process. To verify the design and simulation, a high-precision instrument is employed to measure the 3-dimensional magnetic flux density of LFMB. After measurement and calculation, the uniform degree of magnetic flux density distribution reaches 0.978 and the average value of the flux density is 0.482T. Experimental results show that the optimal design is effective and some useful advice can be obtained for further research.

Investigation and Analysis of Hazards for Cultivation Environment to Establish the Good Agricultural Practices(GAP) of Soybean (콩 GAP 모델 확립을 위한 재배환경의 위해요소 조사 및 분석)

  • Soybean farms in Changnyeong were selected for hazard analysis to establish the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) model of soybean, and physical, chemical(heavy metal) and biological(sanitary indications, foodborne pathogens) hazard analysis for cultivation environment (soil, water) was carried out. First, bow which is able to be mixed in soil and water was confirmed as physical hazard. Levels (Cd:0.01~0.103, Cu:0.001~6.036, As:0.006~3.045, Hg:ND~0.041, Pb:0.003~3.952, $Cr^{+6}$:0.007~0.496, Zn:0.001~66.500, Ni:0.003~18.010) of heavy metals in soil and water were appropriate for GAP criteria. In biological hazard, APC and coliform in soil were detected at the levels of $6.0{\pm}0.3$ and $3.6{\pm}1.6$ log CFU/g, and levels of water were $3.5{\pm}0.7$ and $1.9{\pm}0.7$ log CFU/mL, while E. coli wasn't detected in all sample. However, coliform in water wasn't appropriate for criteria, and E. coli O157 was detected about 22% in some farms, so it needs ways to prevent contamination by human and animals excrements. In conclusion, it needs proper management to prevent cross-contamination of hazards although physical and chemical hazard level were appropriate for GAP criteria while biological hazard wasn't.
