  • In this paper, shortening of product life cycle and wide disposal of consumer product have given rise to many environmental problems, it needs to propose module design principle for saving of disassembly cost and reusing of used part and subassembly. To analyze characteristics of module for recycling, materials and function of part and subassembly must be classified. In disassembly process, a unit operation can be grasped for disassembly function, worker, tool and sorting process. As a result of applying module design principle, simpler structure and reduced structural interference can be realized for product structure. For disassembly, simpler disassembly and quicker disassembly can be obtained for recycling.

  • As the concept of city changes city is viewed in the perspective of business to make profits, not in the perspective of physical space. In the case of Korea urbanization processed over the level of 80% and the formation of identity is suggested for the way to improve city competitiveness as of globalization and liberalization. Seoulentered the level of developed countries in the perspective of functions and facilities, but its image is evaluated poor because of the lack of cultural competitiveness, tourismattractiveness and service system. Dependency of public transportation which is public facilities representing city indirectly is very high, but in information service and visual systems of pubic transportation operations and management are not enough and differentiated image and loyalty are hard to find. In 2004 government of city of Seoul suggested modifications, but compared to London, Paris and Tokyo consistent system, the lack of control and management of use environment of design, excessive visual information and destruction of connection are pointed out. Therefore to solve these problems the introduction of design system is needed to develop identity after applying characteristics and regulations for using to disordered visual stuff. These procedurescan be explained as City Identity Program (CIP) and this study tries to embody city image through public transportation design system. As the study method for this the status of public transportation design system of London, Paris and Tokyo were searched and compared to that of Seoul. Based on this systematization of symbol marks per public transportation being used right now, the development of design guidelines to form identity, relation of design and the strategy of systematization per method and media were proposed.

  • Yet objective of this paper to spell out in detail the relationship between factors design techniques of data analysis and the design of simulation model of the management organization. Yet an organization is more than a collection of individuals. It is something more than the sum of its Parts: it exists as an entity with its own definable objectives. The management process comprise those activities or functions that managers must perform to effectively carry out this asizned role. However, now that O.R. and system approach has been generalized and the assembly system of hard ware or soft ware through computerization is being improved, the systematization of scientific organization is urgently needed. This paper is to set forth :he problem and solution which are most fit for the management organization in relation to computer. Procedure developed are : 1. Interpretation of the management organization. 2. Design of the computer simulation. 3. Application.

  • A conductor has been produced according to IEC standard and low voltage electrical facility has been installed according to IEC 60364. But because of many related and varied standards, it is difficult to apply to design and inspect for electrical equipment. We researched the necessity of design guide which is detailed and systematization from survey. For detailed design guide, we suggest application method and review items at calculations for voltage drop calculations on low voltage feeder by IEC 60364, BS 7671 standard and Consumer's Electrical Installation Guide.

  • The major goal of this study is drawing design plan factors considering residents' life cycle and life style when remodeling design is needed. By drawing such design factors, the study will propose an alternative remodeling design plan. Such design method was defined as Multi-Dimensional module design method. And constructing data-system based on Multi-Dimensional module was secondary goal in this study. The details are as follows: Based on analysis of Residents' demand for remodeling and features of emotion-design applied to remodeling, the system which is suitable for application in remodeling design method was conducted. Based on the type of construction materials, the level value was set up according to emotion-factor application. Also, by conducting coding operation according to the distinction of construction materials, this study seeks the unit drawing method of information for constructing emotion-information system.

  • The global stability of model reference adaptive control system (MRACS) in the ideal case was resolved in the 1980's. Hoever the improvement of the transient, behaviour of MRACS has not been discussed sufficiently even in the ideal case. Only a few attempts have so far been made at the application of MRACS to the practical systems in contrast to the theoretical systematization. Therefore, when we consider the practical usage of MRACS it is necessary to develop an improved design scheme with respect to transient behaviour. In this paper, we propose two design schemes improving transient behaviour of MRACS by mollifying the input synthesis in the conventional design scheme of MRACS. We present a design scheme of MRACS in which we utilize the design approach of variable structure system(VSS). After describing the above design scheme, we also propose the improved design scheme in which we introduce the dead-zone decided by the magnitude of the output-error between the plant and the reference model. The effectiveness of the proposed two design schemes are shown through computer simulations. As the results, by using these methods, the convergence of the transient response is greatly improved in comparison with the conventional one.

  • A capstone design is regarded as one of cap courses in undergraduate engineering education because it requires most prerequisites and makes students experience real engineering design processes. There have been case studies to show how this subject should be organized, practiced, and optimized. This study shows one of the case studies by focusing offshore wind power, one of newly recognized renewable energy resources, especially targeting for the design of wind turbine foundation and submarine power cable protectors mainly because of current energy and global warming crisis. To pinpoint engineering design, the students'activities during the project and design procedures are monitored, evaluated, and recommended; hence, core factors are addressed to develop successful aim, theory, practice, and other necessities. These factors include creative problem solving abilities; recognition of engineering curriculum; selection of project theme based on significance, ripple effect, and education purpose; team organization by the full brain model; systematization of project process; realization of engineering design; and synthesis of evaluation. In the end, the aftermath and future works are discussed.

  • According to Gestalt theories of perception, this paper studies Japanese-style character design combined with ghost culture. This article sorts out the character design elements of the Japanese mobile game "Onmyoji" in China, and then analyzes the design from the perspective of psychology through Gestalt theories. The form is felt through the systematization of the whole rather than the parts, confirming whether the small design elements of the character can be perceived as the whole story.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to design Korean-themed online public education content in Korean medicine using rapid prototyping instructional systems design (RPISD). This study presents cases of developing and converting face-to-face general education programs designed to increase the interest in and understanding of Korean medicine for the public into online programs within a short timeframe. Methods: This qualitative study is design and development research, which used the RPISD model to analyze the available resources utilized in the rapid development of public educational content and propose systematization and optimization measures by analyzing the needs of clients, learners, and the environment. The <Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine(DUBG)Open Course> was developed according to the model procedure, which involved needs analysis, development of course materials and manuscript, and storyboard creation and its filming and editing. Usability tests were conducted at all stages, and the opinions of clients, instructors, experts, and instructional designers were accommodated and reflected at each stage. Results: Using the rapid prototyping model, <Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine(DUBG)Open Course> was organized into five classes of 20 minutes each. Each class was developed in Korean and included English, Chinese, and Japanese subtitles in addition to Korean under the cooperative instructional design among clients, subject-matter experts, instructional designer and learners. Conclusion: The cooperative instructional design of stakeholders is significant in developing Korean medicine public education content online through extensive interaction and feedback from stakeholders in the early stage of educational content development.
