This paper discusses the gereral principles to be considered in the design of usef interfaces of graphics packages and presents a top-down design process in systematic way. The effective and convenient user interfaces are analyzed based on human factors criteria and we discuss the properties and application requirements of typical interaction techniques which support primitive tasks. The choice of an interaction technique has a set of input device prerequisites to be met.

Recently, construction industry has been magnified while various cooperative relationship makes steady process. So importance of management during construction is gathering strength. Therefore, we need systematic management gradually. But almost management of construction industry that performs these day is focused on construction phase not design phase. The purpose of the present study is to find the effective way of design management with enhancing the process of design phase.

This paper presents a new approach to diagnose and detect faults in oil-filled power transformers based on various dissolved gas analyses. A theoretic fuzzy information model is introduced, An inference scheme which yields the 'most' consistent conclusion proposed. A framework is established that allows various dissolved gas analyses to be combined in a systematic way such as the Dempster-Shafer rule. Good diagnosis accuracy is obtained with the proposed approach.

This paper introduces experimental results of whole-body vibration exposed through the contact area between automotive seat and human body. Such vibration experiment was carried out for five automotive seats in use and four Korean individuals. Interestingly, the quantitative assessment of the ride values of the tested seats do not only enable us to judge the footnotes the Korean technology in automotive seat has left so far, but also lead to the systematic way of improving their ride quality, in addition in Korean automotive seats raised in this paper.

This is an expository article about the gradients in deep neural network. It is hard to find a place where gradients in a deep neural network are dealt in details in a systematic and mathematical way. We review and compute the gradients and Jacobians to derive formulas for gradients which appear in the backpropagation and implement them in vectorized forms in Python.

This paper aims to propose ways to revitalize the design industry of Busan by way of analyzing the status of the design and its related industries .We also propose the systematic ways to improve the employment and strengthen the global competitiveness of the design industry of Busan. The basic year of this study is 2010, and the goal years are 2011, 20115 and 2020, each of which represents the short-term, mid-term and long-term goal period, respectively. The content of our study includes the status of the design and its related industries and ways to revitalize them. Our study focuses on ways to revitalize the design industry through the particularization of the design industry in Busan and to strengthen the global competitiveness of Busan's strategic industries. For this, we have read up on the design and its related industries, surveyed the previous research work, and conducted the statistical analysis of design fields for the years of 2006-2008. In order to provide the revitalization plan in a more efficient way, we have also gathered the opinions of the experts through FGI (focus group interview).

In this study and design, I explore the visual communication design process related to wayfinding in Wonkwang University Hospital in Iksan City. The purpose for designing an integrated is to graphically communicate the complex information. I have designed a graphic information system combining graphic elements such as typography, color, image and text layout, and graphic image to present interpretive and communicative processes. As a result of designing, the wayfinding is s term used to describe the program of applying environmental graphics and or architectural sign systems. In other words, wayfinding is the art of helping people find their way by utilizing visual communications such as signs, directories, landmarks, edges, paths and so on. Wayfinding can also be explained as the ability to know where one is in space and how to find one's way through space. Wayfinding design then becomes a systematic arrangement of the variables that allows patients and visitors to successfully find their desired destinations, especially in a hospital.

To investigate the most effective way of cellulase utilization on paper making process and the systematic way of how to combine its components for better use, purified two major cellulase were applied to bleached kraft pulp at various dosage in the refining process and estimated the synergism effect of each components in the characteristics of papermaking fiber. freeness was not changed by $C_1$ Component dosage but strongly increased by Cx Component dosage. Drop in fiber viscosity, increase in WQV, fiber shortening and fine generation was strongly influenced by Cx Component, it seems to be that Cx Component works a hydrogenate that breaks hydrogen bonding in fiber and enhances pooling effect of fiber. $C_1$ Component was little influenced these characteristics of fiber but considered to help to make fiber surface smooth.

The conventional database evaluation method is carried out by the way in which the person in charge of each specialty database(DB manager) composes the evaluation sheets for corretionㆍrevision on the already-constructed database in a manual method and carries out the measurement and re-education of DB workers based upon it. As a result, that way consumes much time on career information and measurement works about DB workers, causing low time and cost efficiency and lack of systematic management of DB workers, resulting in becoming the hindrance factor of databases quality improvement. This research provides on-line, red-time results of measurements about the efficiency of DB production and DB workers by combining the static measurement with dynamic measurement by DB manager, both of which utilize the System. Therefore, the DB manager can contribute to the improvement of DB quality by determining the continuation of DB production by DB workers or carrying out the re-education of DB workers without being affected by time or spacial constraints.
