Web Expert System for Nutrition Counseling and Menu Management

  • This study was conducted to develop a web expert system for nutrition counseling and menu management. This program manipulates a food, dish and menu and search database that has been developed. Clients can select a recommended general and therapeutic menu using this system. The web expert system can analyze nutrients in menus and compare nutrient contents of menus with Korean Recommended Dietary Allowances. It can access the food, dish and menu database. The expert menu database can insert, store and generate the synthetic information of age, sex, and therapeutic purpose of disease. With investigation and analysis of the client's needs, the menu planning program on the internet has been continuously developed. This system consists of the database that reaches to the food composition, the dishes and the menu. Clients can search food composition and conditional food based on nutrient name and amounts. This system is able to draw up the food with its order in dish. The menu planning can be organized and nutrients analysis can be compared with Korea Recommended Allowance. This system is able to read the nutrient composition of the each food, the dish and the menu. The results of analysis is presented quickly and accurately. Therefore it can be used by not only usual people but also dietitians and nutritionists who take charge of making a menu and experts in the field of food and nutrition. It is expected that the web expert system can be useful of nutrition education, nutrition counseling and expert menu management.

한국 지방자치단체 경관형성관련조례에 관한 연구 - 일본지방자치단체와 비교고찰을 통하여 - (A Study on the Ordinance on Landscape Composition by Korean Local Government - Focused on the Present State in Comparison with Japanese Local Government -)

  • This study conducted a comparative analysis on ordinances on landscape composition by local governments, which are a part of the policy to activate landscape composition, by examining the cases of Korea and Japan. For the purpose of specialized landscape compositions according to the own characteristics of Korean local governments, this study suggests factors to consider on the enactment of ordinance on landscape composition as follows. First, in order to compose landscape with an unique figure of the local government, it is required to collect and analyze informations about the local landscape, to provide consistent programs of education and publicity related to the landscape composition and to encourage the involvement of local citizens and reward it. Second, the construction of the ordinance needs to build a plan of landscape composition for each district focused on the landscape composition, to introduce a system which enables self-designation of an ordinance, to establish a detailed guidance, to assign the duty to keep the guidance and regulate punishment in case of a violation of the guidance. It could be done by completing the common or basic elements on the construction of the ordinance on landscape composition.

실험계획법에 의한 $Na_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$계 유리의 조성과 물성관계 (Relation between Composition and Properties of $Na_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$Glasses Determined from Experimental Design)

  • A relation between composition and properties of Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2 glasses was investigated with application of the extreme vertical design. Properties investigated in this study include glass transition temperature density refractive index thermal expansion electrical conductivity bending strength and hardness, Most of the quadratic models fitted on property data were statistically significant. The properties estimated from the fitted equation agreed well with the measured properties. The estimated properties were compared with those reported by other investigators. Additional composition except for those of extreme vertices were needed to yield a slightly better result for the simple system such as a temary system. In addition an optimal composition on each property could be calculated by using optimization technique on result obtained from the fitted quadratic models.

Amino Acid Composition Analysis of the 32 kDa Sperminogen

  • Boar sperminogen was purified from the acid extracts of the washed epididymal spermatozoa by gel filtration through a Sephadex G-100 column, followed by preparative SDS-PAGE. The 32 kDa sperminogen band was sliced out from the preparative SDS-PAGE and 32 kDa sperminogen was eluted from the gel matrix. The purified 32 kDa sperminogen was subjected to amino acid composition analysis. The amino acid composition of the 32 kDa boar sperminogen showed significant differences from that of either boar proacrosin or ${\beta}-acrosin$, which signifies that 32 kDa sperminogen might not be a breakdown product of proacrosin-acrosin system and that the 32 kDa sperminogen is a different protein from proacrosin-acrosin system.

  • Louis I. Kahn's spacial composition is characterized by traditional motives and Ecole des Beaux which had influenced him. This influence had showed five forms about Kahn's spacial composition. His constituent factors in geometrical form are classified into the propositional system, the cellular multiplication of a special unit, the Poche Space and others. According to the results of this study obtained from above mentioned subjects, it can be concluded that geometrical factors, which constitute space of plan, are totally expressed as a system of order which unites particular ones into whole one. This characteristic had developed into a completed meaning for passing through the residential architecture in 1950's, and showed in the other artworks there after.

  • 웹 기반 학습시스템은 현재까지 전통적인 프로세스에 따라 구현되었다. 그러나 이러한 방법은 시스템 개발에서 비효율성을 갖으며, 개발이후에도 운영 및 관리에 어려움을 준다. 따라서 웹 기반 교육시스템에서도 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법의 도입이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 컴포넌트 합성에 의한 성적처리 시스템을 구축하였다. 컴포넌트는 Java Beans로 구현하였으며, 합성 방법은 C2 아키텍처를 이용하였다. 이는, 각 컴포넌트의 합성을 통하여 전체 성적처리 시스템을 구축함으로서 웹 기반 학습 시스템에서도 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법의 적용 가능성을 보였다.

목초 혼파조합별 방목 및 예취이용이 수량 및 색생구성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Grazing and Cutting System on the Dry Matter and Botanical Composition in the Different Seed Mixture Swards)

  • This experiment was carried out to determine the effect of grazing and cutting system in the seven different seed mixture plots on the dry matter yield and botanical composition from October 1983 to November 1986 at 200m above the sea level in Cheju. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Dry matter yield was increased more cutting system than that of grazing system during the first and second harvest year (P<0.01), but at the third harvest year grazed plot was increased (P<0.05). 2. Three-year average dry matter yield tended to be relatively higher with tall fescue mixture plots (T4 and T7) than without tall fescue mixture plots. 3. In botanical composition of the seed mixtures, orchardgrass was observed to be more dominate in cutting system, while perennial ryegrass was increased in grazed plots. 4. Tall fescue was dominated about 70-80% at the third harvest year, in the plot of both grazing and cutting system. 5. The percentage of ladino clover was slightly increased in grazed plot compared with cutting plots. However those of alfalfa and red clover were not influenced by grazing and cutting system.

PSR : 효율적인 웹 서비스 컴포지션 검색을 위한 RDBMS 기반의 선 계산 기법 (PSR: Pre-Computing Solutions in RDBMS for Efficient Web Services Composition Search)

  • 최근 웹 서비스 컴포지션이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 웹 서비스 컴포지션을 통해서, 현재 존재하는 웹 서비스를 이용하여 저장소에 존재하지 않는 새로운 웹 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 웹 서비스 컴포지션 검색을 구성하기 위해서 관계형 데이타베이스(RDBMS)를 사용한 PSR 시스템을 제안한다. 웹 서비스 컴포지션을 선 계산하기 위한 조인과 인덱스를 사용하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 웹 서비스에서 추출한 온톨로지 정보도 테이블로 저장하고, PSR 시스템이 이를 사용하여 온톨로지 매칭 정도에 따라 사용자 질의와의 유사도를 통한 결과를 반환하도록 하였다. 실험을 통하여 RDBMS 상에서 웹 서비스 컴포지션을 선 계산하는 접근 방법이 많은 수의 웹 서비스와 사용자 질의를 처리할 때 빠른 실행 시간과 좋은 확장성을 가지고 있음을 보였다.

PLZT 경사 기능 재료를 이용한 세라믹 엑튜에이터 (Ceramic Actuators with PLZT Functionally Gradient Material)

  • 압전 actuator를 위한 새로운 형태의 재료를 개발하여, 그 특성들을 조사하였다. 이 압전 actuator는 세 층으로 구성되어 있다: 압전 세라믹 층, 조성이 점차로 변하는 중간층, 그리고 또 다른 압전 세라믹 층, 이러한 형태이 재료는 경사 기능 재료(Functionally Gradient Material, FGM)라 불리운다. 경사 기능 재료를 제작하기 위한 재료설계의 개념을 도입하여, FGM화에 있어서 열팽창에 의한 시편의 박리를 막기 위해 $(Pb,\;La)(Zr,\;Ti)O_3$계에서 서로 다른 세라믹스의 조성을 선택하였다. $1300^{\circ}C$, 2시간의 소성에 의해 경사 기능화된 PLZT는 약 $20\mu\textrm{m}$정도의 중간층을 형성하는 미세구조를 가지고 있었다. 경사 기능 재료에서의 유전 및 압전 등의 여러 특성은 두 접합 조성층 특성의 사이의 값을 나타내었다. 인가 전압에 따른 strain특성은 전반적으로 단일 시편의 특성보다 증가하였으며, 특히 접합 조성층에서 고압전-저유전성 조성과 저압전-고유전성 조성을 경사 기능화하였을 경우에 변위의 증가 정도가 더욱 향상되었다.
