We propose an effective and environmentally friendly dry stripping method using a supercritical carbon dioxide ($SCCO_2$) system modified by a single and multiple cosolvents to remove ion-implanted photoresist and residue from a wafer surface at three different temperatures (97, 148, $200^{\circ}C$) and pressures (200, 300, 400 bar). After high dose of ion implantation the photoresist was not easily removed by using pure $SCCO_2$, but swollen. The $SCCO_2$ system modified by single cosolvents and multiple cosolvents mixed with aprotic solvents could not effectively remove the heavy organics, but swell them. However, the $SCCO_2$ system modified with multiple cosolvent (5%, v/v) composed of DMSO and DIW showed high removal efficiency for ion-implanted photoresists at $97^{\circ}C$ and 200 bar for 30 min (about 80%). In this study it has been shown that the dry stripping method using $SCCO_2$ system modified with multiple cosolvents could replace either plasma ashing or acid and solvent wet bench method and dramatically reduce accompanied chemical usage and disposal.
Effects of roasting on vitamin E content, color, microstructure and moisture of peanuts, and vitamin E content in peanut oils prepared from the roasted peanuts were investigated. Runner-type peanuts were roasted at 140, 150, and $160^{\circ}C$ for 10-20 min. As roasting temperature and time increased, the CIELAB $L^*$ value of peanuts decreased while $a^*$ and $b^*$ values increased, resulting in formation of the golden brown color of roasted peanuts. Moisture ratio (M/Mo) and color $b^*$ value of peanuts roasted at 140 to $160^{\circ}C$ showed a correlation of $b^*=21.61\;(M/Mo)^2-40.62\;(M/Mo)+34.12$ ($R^2=0.9123$). Overall changes in the tocopherol contents of peanuts and peanut oils were significantly affected by roasting temperature and time (p<0.05). Roasting at $140^{\circ}C$ caused a slight increase in the levels of tocopherols of peanuts over roasting time up to 20 min (p<0.05). There was no significant change in the tocopherol levels of peanuts during roasting at $150^{\circ}C$ for 20 min (p>0.05). At $160^{\circ}C$, the levels of tocopherols significantly decreased during the initial 10 min of roasting (p<0.05) while there was no extended loss after 10 min, resulting in about 5, 12, 20, and 10% losses of ${\alpha}$-, ${\beta}$-, ${\gamma}$- and ${\delta}$-T, respectively. After 20 min, total tocopherols decreased by 18%. However, tocopherol contents of pressed peanut oils significantly decreased at all roasting temperatures (p<0.05). After roasting peanuts at $160^{\circ}C$ for 20 min, about 84% of initial ${\alpha}$-T in peanut oils was retained. ${\alpha}$-T was the most stable to roasting while ${\gamma}$-T was the least. Swollen epidermal cells on the inner surface and broken cell walls of parenchyma tissue of peanut cotyledon were observed in peanuts after roasting at $160^{\circ}C$ for 15 min. Severe changes in microstructure of peanut by roasting would contribute to vitamin E stability because of exposure of oil droplets in peanuts to oxygen.

Here we describe the histological lesion of a viral fibro-papilloma in a hedgehog. After surgical removal from maxilla, the solitary swollen mass was round to oval, yellowish with rough surface and measuring $6{\times}3{\times}2mm$ approximately. The tumor mass was submitted to the laboratory of pathology, college of veterinary medicine, Kyungpook National University for pathological diagnosis. Pathological examination of the tumor was established, the tumor was described grossly and sample was trimmed, sectioned and routinely prepared for histopathological evaluation. The tumor mass was diagnosed as viral fibro-papilloma, as the histological picture showed characteristic features of warts caused by papillomaviruses. The tumor characterized by thickening of the stratum spinosum (acanthosis) and basale, koilocytosis, intra-nuclear inclusion bodies in keratinocytes and fibrosis of submucosa. Further, viral inclusion bodies were demonstrated by Machiavello stain giving red color to the nuclei. No lymphocytes that responsible for regression of the wart could be detected, suggesting the poor possibility of spontaneous regression of the tumor. Papillomatosis is a disease of young animals, but in our case the infected Hedgehog was 5 years old, that maybe due to an impaired immune system, which is also shown by absence of lymphocytes. To the best knowledge of the author, this case presents the first report of viral fibropapillomatosis in Hedgehog.
Recently successful induction of haploid plant by means of anther culture method has become a big topic among geneticists and plant breeders. The haploid plant can be used as a precious material for such basic researches as mutation or genetics. Once the haploid is obtained, production of homozygous plant is not a difficult problem. The method of producing homozygous plant can, also, be applied to the practical breeding works. When applied to the hybridization of self-fertilizing breeding period would be greatly shortened and in cross-fertilizing vegetables production of uniform hybrid seed would be very easily obtained. Last few years many scientists attempted anther cultures using various plant species, but it was successful only in several species. Unlike the other tissue cultures which use somatic organs or tissues as explants, anther culture seems to be very difficult because the plants or calli have to be induced from the haploid microspores or pollen grains. In the present experiment anther culture of fruit trees and ornamental shrubs of four genera and seven species was attemped. Anthers of Various stages ranging from tetrad and late microspore were cultured on the modified Murashige and Skoog's medium supplemented with various concentrations of auxins and kinetin as growth regulators. Handling of materials, sterilization, and other operations of culture were done by routine methods. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Calli were induced in the anthers of Forsythia Koreana Nak., Rhododendron mucronuratum Turcz., R. yedoense Max. var. Poukhanense Nak., and Prunus armeniaca L. var. ansu Max. No signs of callus were observed in Prunus persica Sieb. et Zucc. var. vurgaris Max., Pyrus ussuriensis var. macrostipes (Nak.), and Prunus salcina Lindley. 2. Calli were easily formed in any of the media with differing concentrations of auxins and kinetin. 3. In F. Koreana calli developed from anther surface and connective. Callus emerging out of anther locule was not observed. 4. Somatic calli arose from filament, connective, and inside of anther wall in R. mucronulatum. Many of the microspores accumulated starch grains. 5. The anther lobes located opposite the filament of R. yedoense turned easily to calli. This phenomenon was not observed in R. mucronulatum. Microspore embedded for a period in the medium became starch pollen. No callus was observed arising from microspore. 6. In P. armeniaca calli were not induced from somatic anther tissues. Instead, callus emerged out of anther locule rupturing the anther slit. Starch was not formed in the microspore. 7. In P. persica, Pyrus ussuriensis, and P. salcina, calli were not observed in the anthers examined more than 60 days after culture. Microspores of these species, however, were free of starch grains even after long period of subculture. 8. It was learned that somatic calli of the species examined arose usually from endothelium of anther wall, septum of two neighboring anther locules, parenchyma tissues of connectives, or anther lobes. 9. In the anther locule of P. armeniaca cultured long in medium, swollen microspores, polynucleate microspores, multicellular pollen grains, or callus mass were frequently observed, this indicating that the callus of this species was microspore-origin. 10. It was clarified that in P. armeniaca production of haploid plant by anther culture might be possible.
