This paper presents a register scheduling and allocation algorithm for high level synthesis. The proposed algorithm executes the low power scheduling to reduce the switching activity using shut down technique which was not unnecessary the calculation through the extraction DFG from VHDL description. Also, the register allocation algorithm determines the minimum register after the life time analysis of all variable. It is minimum the switching activity using graph coloring technique for low power consumption. The proposed algorithm proves the effect through various filter benchmark to adopt a new scheduling and allocation algorithm considering the low power.

In this paper, a novel dead time minimization algorithm is proposed for improving the output waveform of an inverter. The adverse effects of the dead time are mainly described by the voltage drop and the distortion factor of waveforms. The principle of the proposed algorithm is organized with forbidding unnecessary firings fo the inverter switches which are not conducted even though the gate signal is impressed. The proposed methods are explained with the conduction mode of output currents. The H/W and S/W implementation method of the proposed algorithm are also presented. The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by comparing the simulation and experimental results with conventional methods. It can be concluded from the results that the proposed algorithm has the advantage which is able to reduce the harmonics in the output voltages and which the output voltage can nearly be equal to the reference value. Another advantage of the proposed method is the reduction of total numbers of switching so that the switching losses of inverter drives can be minimized.
In this paper, we propose a minimal power data path allocation algorithm for low power circuit design. The proposed algorithm minimizes switching activity for input variables in scheduled CDFG. Allocations are further divided into the tasks of register allocation and module allocation. The register allocation algorithm execute that it eliminate spurious switching activity in functional unit and minimize the numbers of multiplexer. Also, resource allocation method selects a sequence of operations for a module such that the switching activity is reduced. Therefore, the algorithm executes to minimize the switching activity of input values, sequence of operations and number of multiplexer. Experimental results using benchmarks show that power is reduction effect from 13% to 17% power consumption, when compared with the Genesis-lp high-level synthesis system.

This paper presents a new cascaded asymmetrical single phase multilevel converter with a lower number of power semiconductor switches and isolated DC sources. Therefore, the number of power electronic devices, converter losses, size, and cost are reduced. The proposed multilevel converter topology consists of two H-bridges connected in cascaded configuration. One H-bridge operates at a high frequency (high frequency inverter) and is capable of developing a two level output while the other H-bridge operates at the fundamental frequency (low frequency inverter) and is capable of developing a multilevel output. The addition of each power electronic switch to the low frequency inverter increases the number of levels by four. This paper also introduces a hybrid switching algorithm which uses very simple arithmetic and logical operations. The simplified hybrid switching algorithm is generalized for any number of levels. The proposed simplified switching algorithm is developed using a TMS320F2812 DSP board. The operation and performance of the proposed multilevel converter are verified by simulations using MATLAB/SIMULINK and experimental results.
IP Switching is a new routing technology proposed to improve the performance of IP routers. Flow classification is one of the key issues in IP Switching. To achieve better performance, flow classification should be matched to the varying IP traffic and an IP switch should make use of its hardware switching resources as fully as possible. This paper proposes an adaptive flow classification algorithm for IP Switching. By dynamically adjusting the values of its control parameters in response to the present usage of the hardware switching resources, this adaptive algorithm can efficiently match the varying IP traffic and thus improve the performance of an IP switch.
This paper presents a torque ripple reduction technique of direct torque control(DTC) for high power induction motors driven by 3-level inverters with the inverter switching frequency limited around 0.5-1kHz level. It is noted that conventional DTC algorithms to reduce torque ripple are devised for applications with relatively high switching frequency above 2-3kHz. A new DTC algorithms especially for low switching frequency inverter system illustrates relatively reduced torque ripple are devised for applications with relatively high switching frequency above 2-3kHz. Anew DTC algorithm especially for low switching frequency inverter system illustrates relatively reduced torque ripple characteristics Simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm
This paper proposed resource allocation algorithm for the minimum switching activity of functional unit in high level synthesis process as like DSP which is circuit to give many functional unit. The resource allocation method after scheduling use the power function calculating average hamming distance and switching activity of the between two input. First of all, the switching activity is calculated by the input value after calculating the average hamming distance between operation. In this paper, the proposed method though high If level simulation find switching activity in circuit each functional unit exchange for binary sequence length and value bit are logic one value. To use the switching activity find the allocation with minimal power consumption, the proposed method visits all control steps one by one and determines the allocation with minimal power consumption at each control step. As the existing method, the execution time can be fast according to use the number of operator and max control step. And it is the reduction effect from 6% to 8%.
Vibration at the tip of various flexible manipulators may affect their operation accuracy and work efficiency. To suppress such vibrations, the feasibility of using MFC actuators and sensors is investigated in this paper. Considering the convergence of the famous filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm could not be guaranteed while it is employed for vibration suppression of plants with varying secondary path, this paper proposes a new multiple model switching adaptive control algorithm to implement the real time active vibration suppression tests with a new multiple switching strategy. The new switching strategy is based on a cost function with reconstructed error signal and disturbance signal instead of the error signal from the error sensor. And from a robustness perspective, a new variable step-size sign algorithm (VSSA) based FXLMS algorithm is proposed to improve the convergence rate. A cantilever beam with varying tip mass is employed as flexible manipulator model. MFC layers are attached on both sides of it as sensors and actuators. A co-simulation platform was built using ADAMS and MATLAB to test the feasibility of the proposed algorithms. And an experimental platform was constructed to verify the effectiveness of MFC actuators and sensors and the real-time vibration control performance. Simulation and experiment results show that the proposed FXLMS algorithm based multiple model adaptive control approach has good convergence performance under varying load conditions for the flexible cantilever beam, and the proposed FX-VSSA-LMS algorithm based multiple model adaptive control algorithm has the best vibration suppression performance.

An industrial robot needs a simple and robust control algorithm obtaining high precision control performance in spite of disturbance and parameter's change. In this paper, for solving this problem, a new sliding mode control algorithm is proposed and applied to the trajectory control of a SCARA type robot. The proposed algorithm has diminished the chattering occurring in sliding mode by setting a dead band along the switching line on the phase plane. It shows that we can easily obtain a simple switching control input satisfying sliding mode in spite of regarding nonlinear terms of a manipulator and servo system as disturbance. A guideline for selection of dead-band width is determined by optimal value of cost function presenting magnitudes of chattering and error. By this algorithm, we can expect the high performance of the trajectory tracking of an industrial robot which needs a robust and simple algorithm.

In this paper, a new algorithm based on sensitivity method for alleviating overloads in power networks is presented to find the switching branches effectively. By applying the new sensitivity of the line flow with respect to the change of the branch impedance, both on and off switchings for alleviating overloads in power networks are performed systematically at once and an effective scheme for drawing up a plan to alleviate overloads of the lines is presented through screening a large number of line switching cases easily. The ranking of switching branches is calculated according to the new switching algorithm based on sensitivity method and the switching of the ranked branches is performed in the order of ranking until overloads are eliminated. In order to show the effects of this algorithm, it is applied to a small scale power system of IEEE 39-bus test system.
