This Paper analyzed activities of the average time use survey in 1999 and 2004 by Korea National Statistical Office. The survey of National Statistical Office considered general analysis for activities like that personal care(eating), employment and study, leisure, travel by purpose. Change of time of living causes a lot of effects on society whole economy, culture etc., and is used basic data in policy proposal of the country and enterprise's marketing operation establishment. Analysis for average time could look at change in a role of gender, holiday of saturday's enforcement and increasing of temporary post. Using this analysis we can do more developed and analytical sociological study.

IKONOS image mapping is being considered a possible replacement to the traditional mapping in many countries due to their ease of access to current data and their potential high resolution. Survey Department of His Majesty's Government completed traditional orthophoto mapping of all urban and semi-urban areas of the country. The 1:5000 monochrome orthophoto maps of Kathmandu Valley were completed in 2003. In 2002, as a test, production of a near natural colour Image Map at 1:5000 scale of a part of Kathmandu Valley based on IKONOS data was carried out. A conventional line map plotting of the same area at 1:5000 was also prepared. The objective of the pilot project was to assess the geometric accuracy and the information content of these maps. The details of the study and their results are underlined. The findings of the study helps to explain whether IKONOS image map can replace conventional orthophoto map at 1:5,000 for urban areas of Nepal like Kathmandu.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of claim management process of general contractors in South Korea. As the claim management becomes more important nowadays, maintaining the process for claim management systematically and consistently becomes more important as well. To improve the claim management process, it is necessary to diagnose the current status of claim management process so companies establish their targets for improvement. This study develops a survey to identify the current status of claim management process that major general contractors in South Korea have. Questions in the survey are classified into four categories including entitlement check, potential claim event check, time bar check, and tasks for substantiation. By conducting a series of statistical analyses with 94 survey data collected from employees working in the general contractor companies in South Korea, this study examines and analyzes their claim management process in terms of the several categories. It is expected that the results contribute to diagnosing how practitioners maintain their claim management, which will help them establish the direction of management enhancement.

A survey was conducted to determine the level of awareness of library professionals working in engineering and technological institution libraries in Karnataka regarding web technology and social media sites in particular. The researcher designed a structured questionnaire using Google Forms and sent it to 204 engineering colleges affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. There is a reasonable amount of awareness and acquaintance with social media sites among working library professionals. Analysis and interpretation are performed with the standard statistical tool (SPSS). The result of this study could provide library professionals with useful insights on how to use social media sites to promote library services.

This study is an attempt to explore the perceptions of the public on women in higher education and employment, using data from the World Value Survey, had 90,350 respondents, of which 48.03% are male (N=43,391) and 51.87% are female (N=46,878). This study indicated that women, younger people, upper class people, religious people, and married people are more likely to have strong views against women's education and employment.

The operator's performance of nuclear power plants is affected by many performance shaping factors(PSF). The objective of this study is to find out the PSFs and their effect on the nuclear power plant operations. We extracted PSFs in five category, and identified the relationships between PSFs and performance using the four survey methods; literture survey, case study, video task analysis and questionnaire survey. Finally the knowledge on PSFs and their effect was represented as rule form for cognitive simulation.

This study is identified the characteristics of housing product through housebuilders' strategies. As a methodology for this study, literature survey and questionnaire survey were used. Questionnaires have been done on mail to 232 housebuilders and return rate was 34.1%. In summary, housing product can be characterized long gestation period, periodically building cycle, future uncertainty of market volatility, maximization of land development gain, utilization of public fund for continuous building activity, moral hazard by accidentally bankrupcy. Therefore private housebuilding could be defined speculative industry.

This Paper analyzed simultaneous activities of the time use survey by Korea National Statistical Office to use data mining's association rule. The survey of National Statistical Office in 1999 considered general analysis for main activities like that personal care(eating), employment and study, leisure, travel by purpose. But if we use the association rule, we can found the ratio of simultaneous activities at the same time. And also we can found the probability that another activities practise if we act one particular activity. Using this association rule of data mining we can do more developed and analytical sociological study.

KTX Introduced in korea have occurred enhanced services and reduced regional travel time. "Induced traffic" is defined in the traffic demand generated in new project. 'Induced traffic' compared to the Diversion Demand Survey and research on ways to quantify the situation, insufficient analysis of constant and long-term observations are needed to estimate the changes in demand. In this study, Induced traffic effects due to the opening of KTX for analysis survey to passengers by Railway and the scale factor induced traffic review.

In this study, we newly define the Total Survey Error(TSE) in exit poll and investigate the TSEs of the exit poll survey for the 18th general election of 2008 to analyse the cause of the exit poll prediction error. To explore the main cause and effect of the total survey error, the total survey error was divided by the sampling error which comes from sampling process of poll stations and the non-sampling error which comes from selecting voter and collecting responses from sampled voters in each electoral district. We consider the relationship between non-response rates and total survey error as well as non-sampling error. Also, we study the representativeness of the exit poll sample by comparing the sex/age distribution of the exit poll data and the National Election Commission poll data.
