  • Generator has synchronized with power Network after build-up output voltage. In order to prevent a current surge when synchronizing, the conditions such as identical no-load voltages identical no-load frequencies and identical phase positions must be met between generator voltage and network voltage. Hydro-Pump generators or Gas-turbine generators, Co-generation Generators that serve peak load of network are synchronized many times. So, Automatic Synchronizing Circuits are very important service. This report apply Diagnosis methods the Automatic Synchronizing Circuits(Device) by developing simulator.

  • Photovoltaic (PV) array, which is generally installed outside, has the possibility of being damaged by high voltage due to lightning. primarily because the electrical characteristics of PV array have not been fully identified by lightning yet, there is a very important issue whether PV array should be connected with a ground or not. In this paper, a basic model of PV array is provided considering the PV cell's barrier capacitance and ground capacitance for analysis of electrical characteristics by lightning.

  • This paper analyzed the motion characteristics of two ships according to the ship's dimension using Ship Handling Simulator. When the panamax container ship passes the smaller ship, peak point and patterns of interaction forces for the moored ship are noticeable. Accordingly, special attention should be paid to the movements of moored ship because surge force and yaw moment changes in the opposite direction before and after condition of ship's beam. However, when the container ship passes the larger moored ship in reverse, peak point stood out on the passing ship at the beginning of ship-to-ship interaction and attraction force on the passing ship occurred steadily during 1L(length overall of passing ship) interval at a point of beam. In addition, as the lateral distance between the hull of two ships decreases less than 2B(breadth of passing ship), interaction forces on the passing ship at the beginning are sharply increase.

  • In the information age, internet was developed from the wired access to the wireless Internet access. When a surge in demand for wireless Internet access, efficiency and performance of 2.4 and 5GHz band which leads to saturation of the communication was significantly fall. In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of slot patch antenna to be used in wireless communication systems operating at around 10GHz band. To obtain optimal antenna parameters such as patch size, inter patch space, sL, sW, feed L, feed w, slot patch antenna was simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). From these parameters, slot and patch antenna is fabricated using FR-4 substrate of dielectric constant 4.4. The characteristics of fabricated antenna were analyzed by network analyzer. The fabricated slot patch antenna showed a center frequency as 10.23GHz, the minimum return loss as -32dB, and -10dB bandwidth as 420MHz respectively.

  • The modern society has become entry into the information age after the spread of Internet. In the information age, internet was developed from the wired access to the wireless Internet access. When a surge in demand for wireless Internet access, performance and speed of 2.4 and 5GHz band for Wi-Fi which leads to saturation of the communication was significantly fall. Accordingly, the communication of the 6GHz band for Wi-Fi 6E came to be interested. In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of microstrip patch antenna to be used in wireless communication systems operating at around 6GHz band. To obtain antenna parameters such as patch size, inter patch space, antenna was simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). From these parameters, slot microstrip patch antenna is fabricated using FR-4 of dielectric constant 4.4. • The modern society has become full-fledged entry into the information age since spread of Internet. In the information age, internet was developed from the wired access to the wireless Internet access. When a surge in demand for wireless Internet access, efficiency and performance of 2.4GHz band which leads to saturation of the communication was significantly fall. Accordingly, the communication of the 5GHz band came to be interested. In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of u-slot microstrip patch antenna to be used in wireless communication systems operating at around 5GHz band. To obtain antenna parameters such as patch size, inter patch space, antenna was simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). From these parameters, u-slot microstrip antenna is fabricated using FR-4 substrate of dielectric constant 4.4. The characteristics of fabricated antenna were analyzed by network analyzer.

  • This paper deals with the transient performance of zero signal reference grid(ZSRG) and insulated/isolated ground(IG) in case of lightning strike or surge currents in buildings. Using HIFREQ, which is a commercial code for electromagnetic field analysis, the difference of transient performances of ZSRG and IG type grounding structure have been presented based on the numerical calculations. It is expected that the quantitative and numerical calculation based analysis, which is adopted in this paper, will attribute to the selection of optimal grounding method in the intelligent buildings.

  • The record type receivers that are operated in large industrial sites have strength in preventing fire. However, because of its long circuit lines and multiple detectors, the receivers are vulnerable to lightning, noise, and breakdown of equipments, resulting in malfunction. In case of malfunctioning of detection circuits of main protection areas, such as electrical room and server room, potential release of gaseous extinguisher agents may lead to property and life damage. In this paper, we present the results on the characteristics of the transponder that initiates the solenoid valves, with respect to various electromagnetic and lightning inflow conditions. Based on the measured data, we analyzed the systematic problems of the transponder. In order to prevent receiver malfunctions, a sequential circuit was configured with two additional transponders and a timer. The circuit was tested with a simulator with preference and delay circuit algorithms.

  • The evolution of civil engineering technology, exemplified by recent milestones like the completion of the Gangnam Global Business Center (GBC), has fostered the construction of expansive civil and architectural structures both above and below the earth's surface. This surge in construction necessitates a commensurate advancement in research and technology pertaining to safety protocols applicable to these vast edifices. Such protocols encompass a spectrum of concerns, ranging from the preemptive mitigation of accidents to the effective management of exigencies such as fires. As the trajectory of construction endeavors continues unabated, encompassing both subterranean and elevated domains, a concomitant imperative emerges to refine the methodologies underpinning precise indoor positioning. To address this need, an innovative web-based simulator has been devised to emulate indoor positioning scenarios for rigorous testing. This research further entails the development of an indoor positioning data Application Programming Interface (API) fortified by Geographic Information System (GIS) spatial operation techniques. This API is anchored in the construction of intricate test data, centered on the spatial layout of building 13 at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Consequently, the study renders feasible the expeditious provisioning of diverse signal-based and image-based spatial information, pivotal for enhancing the navigational acumen of mobile devices. Path delineation, cellular signal mapping, landmark identification, and ancillary navigational aids are among the manifold datasets promptly furnished by the indoor positioning data API. In summation, this study engenders a crucial leap towards the fortification of safety protocols and navigational precision within the expansive confines of modern architectural wonders.
