An Analysis of Decision Factor about the Necessary for Governmental Support of non-Residential Han-ok (비주거 한옥의 제도적 지원 필요성을 결정하는 가치요인 분석)

  • Nowadays numbers of non-residential Korean traditional house (Han-ok) like Caf$\acute{e}$ and restaurants within the cultural property preservation area. So the purpose of this study is suggesting the necessity of governmental support about non-residential Han-ok. The research started to analyze influential factors toward them and estimate the value of non-residential Han-ok. After then it investigated what kind of value factors are important when it is agreed to the necessity of governmental support using logistic regression. According to the result, there are main 7 factors; possibilities to use Han-ok with poor residential environment, the unique appearance of Han-ok, possibilities to offer social and welfare service within local community, value to develop tourism on Han-ok, utilization of commercial area, historical deficiency and easy to access Han-ok for tourists and overseas which are an effect on decision making to sustain non-residential Han-ok.

  • Recently, the frequency and intensity of torential rains caused by climate change are increasing, and the damage to reservoir collapse in local governments continues to occur. Most local government reservoirs are aged reservoirs that have been built for more than 50 years, and there is a high risk of collapse due to recent heavy rainfall. In order to prevent reservoir collapse or overflow caused by heavy rainfall, a decision-making support system that can judge risks due to changes in storage capacity is needed. In this study, a reservoir discharge simulation model was constructed using a system dynamics technique that can dynamically represent causal relationships between various variables. Through discharge simulation, the change in storage capacity due to rainfall was analyzed, and the operation time and termination time of the discharge facility to prevent overflow of the reservoir were analyzed. Using the results of this study, it is possible to determine the timing of the overflow of the reservoir due to torrential rain, and also the capacity and operation timing of the discharge facility to prevent overflow can be known. hrough this, it is expected that local governments will be able to judge the risk of damage to reservoirs and establish a preliminary response plan to prevent damage.

  • Pusher-Loaded Scrapers are important construction equipment for large earthmoving operations. Production rates of a Pusher-Loaded Scraper vary greatly in accordance with the temperature or elevation, the equipment performance, haul speed, haul-road conditions, the method of loading, and Number of scrapers per one pusher. Determining of most economical scrapers fleet regarding the size of equipment, model name, and number of scrapers demands time-consuming calculation because it needs to reference of varied performance charts or tables and repeat complicated calculation. In this study, decision-making support system for the Optimal Pusher-loaded Scrapers Fleet is suggested for the purpose of calculating easily and handling effectively variables which are changed depend of the work conditions. The prototype of this program is developed using MATLAB. And the Database of Pusher-loaded Scraper embodies Performance chart & Retarder chart, soil properties, and calculation-support table.

Large investments in the SCM was made, but many companies are not fully getting the performance from the systems. The purpose of this study is to find the determinants of SCM difussion and performance in the perspective of Innovation and Information technology Acceptance. In developing the research model, The model consists of eight independent variables(Management support, Decision Making concentration, IS strategy, training education, relative advantage, technological compatibility, task compatibility, SCM cost), two moderator variables(interorganizational and intraorganizational diffusion), three dependant variables(efficiency, effectiveness, strategic advantage).

  • In this paper recently catastrophic oil spills from tanker casualties have polluted the marine environment. The Sea Prince casualties are analyzed and the systems to be introduced are considered. Also, the establishment of the national contingency plan and the decision-making procedure based on technical analysis are described. Based on the discussions the Rapid Response Technical Support System is derived for the support of salvage and oil spill removal operation. The System will contribute to the protection of life and assets from the marine casualties and to keeping the clean and safe ocean.

  • The mining-related damages such as ground subsidence, acid mine drainage(AMD), and deforestation in the abandoned underground coal mine areas become an object of public concern. Therefore, the system to manage the miningrelated damages is needed for the effective drive of rehabilitation activities. The management system for Abandoned Underground Coal Mine using GIS includes the database about mining record and information associated with the mining-related damages and application programs to support mine damage prevention business. Also, this system would support decision-making policy for rehabilitation and provide basic geological data for regional construction works in abandoned underground coal mine areas.

  • In this study, we propose a integrated model of logistic regression, artificial neural networks, support vector machines(SVM), with case-based reasoning(CBR). To predict respondents in the direct marketing is the binary classification problem as like bankruptcy prediction, IDS, churn management and so on. To solve the binary problems, we employed logistic regression, artificial neural networks, SVM. and CBR. CBR is a problem-solving technique and shows significant promise for improving the effectiveness of complex and unstructured decision making, and we can obtain excellent results through CBR in this study. Experimental results show that the classification accuracy of integration model using CBR is superior to logistic regression, artificial neural networks and SVM. When we apply the customer response model to predict respondents in the direct marketing, we have to consider from the view point of profit/cost about the misclassification.

  • The paper presents a new scheme and a support system for the analysis sof hyman errors in nuclear power plants based on a cognitive model. We discusse the problems identified in current managerial analysis, and propose a new approach that frames the description of human activities according to a human decision making modle, so that it could provide a better reconstruction of a sequence of event suspected of involving human errors. This sophistcated approach becomes practical for the field application with the support of a computerized aiding system. The model-based event re-construction method is expected to enable the analysts to produce more informative reports, which in turn heop to derive appropriate counter- measures to reduce the possibility of the analyzed human errors.

  • This study focuses on the policy priorities for training agro-healing experts. Training agro-healing experts is an important task that should boost local community in rural areas. In order to make an efficient decision making, the study analyses priority of relevant policies using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. According to the results, R&D comes out first. Human Resource Development(HRD), financial support, and the construction of legal system comes after R&D. In R&D, qualifications and guidelines for participants comes out the most significant issue. In the aspect of HRD, it is very important to develop and utilize regional personnel such as unemployed youth and retirees from related fields. As for financial support, funding for educational facilities (i.e. classrooms and farmland for practice) is needed. In case of legal system, it is desirable to introduce the recruiting experts system and qualification system certified by government.
