동적 과점시장의 관리제어: 기업들은 어떻게 이윤극대화에 이를 수 있는가? (Supervisory Control of Dynamic Oligopolistic Markets: How can Firms Reach Profit-Maximization?)

  • In an oligopolistic market, only a few firms account for most or all of total production, e.g., automobile, steel, and computer industries. For a dynamic oligopolistic market with two firms competing in quantities, we show that supervisory control theory of discrete event systems provides a novel approach to solve the dynamic oligopoly problem with the aim of maximizing the profits of both firms. Specifically, we show that the controllability, observability, and nonblocking property (which are the core concepts in supervisory control theory) are the necessary and sufficient conditions for two oligopolistic firms in disequilibrium to eventually reach equilibrium states of maximizing the profits of both firms.

  • A design of stabilizing supervisory controller for discrete event dynamic systems(DEDS) is investigated in this paper. The notion of system stability is introduced for the supervisory control and the stable behavior is defined. A framework of stabilizing supervisory controller, which controls a given system to have stable behavior. is formulated and a design method is proposed for the stabilizing, supervisory controller.

  • Presented in the paper is a structured approach to modeling automated manufacturing system (AMS) in the form of an event graph. The proposed two-phase procedure for formal modeling is 1) reference modeling by schematic supervisory control modeling and 2) event graph transformation from supervisory control model. Also described is a formal model for a small-sized FMS in the form of an event graph.

  • This paper present a design experience of supervisory control system platform for agile and intelligent manufacturing(AIM).   • This paper describes the design and implementation techniques of a generic Internet-based telerobotic system. The purpose is to make available the precious technical information and hands-on experience of the authors for the research community. The paper is based on the telerobotics system that the authors recently implemented between KAIST, Korea and Saga University, Japan. In its current functionality, two control modes: high-level supervisory control and low-level supervisory control are explored demonstrating their merits and demerits.

  • 지진하중을 받는 구조물의 능동제어를 위한 퍼지관리제어기법(fuzzy supervisory control technique)에 관하여 연구하였다. 제시하는 제어기법은, 구조물에 발생하는 변위 및 속도 등의 정보를 이용하여 퍼지추론과정을 거쳐서 구조물의 상태를 파악함으로써 기설계된 제어이득들을 실시간으로 관리 및 조정한다. 알고리즘의 검증을 위하여 지진하중을 받는 3자유도 구조물에 대하여 수치모사를 수행하여 정적이득을 갖는 LQR제어기와 비교하였으며, 해석결과 제시한 제어기는 지진응답의 제어에 매우 효과적임을 알 수 있다.
