축소형 초고속 자기부상철도 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study on Development for Small-scale Super-speed Maglev Train)

  • This paper presents the overall measurement system for on-line test of super-speed maglev train. The super-speed maglev train is composed of vehicle, propulsion, power, and so on. In order to evaluate and diagnose for sub-system, we made overall measurement system. Just like the other measurement system, it is designed to distributed type. The hardware is consist of SCXI, PXI, Terminal, UPS, and so forth. It is installed on a train, control room, power room and track to collect lots of signals. The software controls hardware system, monitors main data such as inverter current, converter voltage. Using the measurement system, we evaluated a lot of performances for vehicle, track, and so forth. Through the developed system have improved reliability and safety for super-speed maglev train.

초고속 자기부상철도 기술개발 동향조사 및 분석 (A Study on Trend of Technology Development for Super-Speed Maglev)

  • 본 논문에서는 특허 분석을 통하여 초고속 자기부상철도 기술과 관련된 주요 국가의 기술 개발 동향을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 국내 기술 개발의 발전 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 초고속 자기부상철도를 구성하는 핵심기술을 14개로 분류하고, 각 기술 별로 주요 국가에서 출원된 특허의 건수, 증가율 및 점유율과 같은 양적 분석을 통하여 나라별 기술개발 현황 및 집중분야를 파악하였으며, 특허활동 집중도, 인용도 및 시장확보지수와 같은 질적 분석을 통하여 기술개발의 수준 및 시장확보력을 살펴보았다. 분석된 결과와 주요 기술의 발전 방향을 고려하여 국내 초고속 자기부상철도 기술 개발에 있어서 중점 개발하여야 할 분야 및 개발 방향 등을 제시하였다.

위치신호 보상 및 추정을 통한 초고속 자기부상철도 추력 성능 향상 (Thrust Performance Improvement through Position Signal Compensation and Estimation in Super Speed Maglev)

  • 본 논문에서는 초고속 자기부상철도 추진 제어에 필수적인 차량의 위치검지에 있어서 위치신호 송신지연 및 송신주기가 추력에 미치는 영향을 수치적으로 분석하고 test bed를 이용한 실험을 통해 이를 확인하였다. 위치신호 송신문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 위치신호 보상 및 추정 기법을 제시하였으며 제시된 방법을 test bed에 적용하여 효용성을 검증하였다. 적용 결과 추력이 크게 증가하였으며 이에 따라 차량의 가속도 및 속도 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다. 본 방법은 향후 개발 예정인 한국형 초고속 자기부상철도의 위치검지시스템에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • In the case of long-stator linear drives, unlike rotative drives for which speed or position sensors are a single unit attached to the shaft, these sensors extend along the guideway. The position signal transmitted from maglev vehicle can't meet the need of the real-time propulsion control. In this paper the position estimator for propulsion inverter driving long stator linear synchronous motor (LSLSM) in high speed maglev train is proposed. In order to get the higher resolution of the position information transmitted from vehicle, Full order state observer is proposed for position estimator.

  • Through Korean Urban Maglev Program started in 2006, an urban maglev train was developed and the demonstration line is under construction as of now in 2011. The target speed of the developed maglev train is 110km/h, and the core technologies for super speed maglev trains over 500km/h are being studied. The propulsion and levitation systems of the super speed maglev train under consideration consist of linear synchronous motors (LSM) and levitation electromagnets which also act as a mover of LSM. In addition, guidance electromagnets are used to ensure stable running on curved tracks during super speed operation. The levitation and guidance control is focused on in this paper. For experimental purpose, a small maglev train is being manufactured, and its levitation and guidance controller is studied. The main task of the controller is to maintain the gap between the corresponding electromagnet and the guideway constantly. In general, measurements of the gap, acceleration and current and so on are utilized, and the gap control is implemented independently for each electromagnet. In this paper, the levitation and guidance system is modelled considering mechanical interactions, and the levitation and guidance controller is proposed based on this model. The developed controller is verified by various simulations using MATLAB/Simulink.

Dynamic analysis of guideway structures by considering ultra high-speed Maglev train-guideway interaction

  • In this study, the new three-dimensional finite element analysis model of guideway structures considering ultra high-speed magnetic levitation train-bridge interaction, in which the various improved finite elements are used to model structural members, is proposed. The box-type bridge deck of guideway structures is modeled by Nonconforming Flat Shell finite elements with six DOF (degrees of freedom). The sidewalls on a bridge deck are idealized by using beam finite elements and spring connecting elements. The vehicle model devised for an ultra high-speed Maglev train is employed, which is composed of rigid bodies with concentrated mass. The characteristics of levitation and guidance force, which exist between the super-conducting magnet and guideway, are modeled with the equivalent spring model. By Lagrange's equations of motion, the equations of motion of Maglev train are formulated. Finally, by deriving the equations of the force acting on the guideway considering Maglev train-bridge interaction, the complete system matrices of Maglev train-guideway structure system are composed.

  • 초고속 자기부상철도는 전기, 전자, 기계, 토목 및 건설 등의 기술이 종합적으로 연계된 거대 복합 시스템이다. 따라서, 각 기술 간의 인터페이스와 시스템에 대한 운영 요구사항과 기본사양을 종합적으로 검토 및 관리하는 시스템 통합이 원활하게 진행되어야 한다. 개별적인 시스템의 인터페이스 성능 확보는 시스템 전체의 목표 달성을 위해 필수적인 사항으로써 시스템 엔지니어링의 주요 관리 항목이며, 시스템의 실패 요인을 사전에 방지할 수 있는 효과적인 방안이다. 본 연구에서는 시스템 엔지니어링 기법을 활용하여 초고속 자기부상철도 시스템의 안정성과 신뢰성을 향상시킨 연구에 대하여 서술하였다.

  • Because of many advantages of Maglev(magnetic levitation) trains, the study of Maglev technology has been accelerated rapidly throughout the world. As a results of that, German commercialized the super-speed magnetic train in Shanghai at the world-wide beginning. Japan started the first commercial service for the low speed Maglev train system in Nagoya in the world. For the commercial service of Maglev trains, signal system must be installed on the operation line and be controlled by operation control center In this paper, Maglev train operation systems of the inside and outside of the country are investigated and what is supplied for domestic Maglev train system is investigated.

  • The Maglev system is environmentally friendless system, has excellent running capabilities and lower life cycle cost. The Maglev has been developed by Germany and Japan since 1970's. Then, Transrapid of Germany, super high speed type, had started for commercial operating at Sanghai of China in the early of 2004. In March of this year, HSST of Japan, urban type, had been serviced at Tobukyuro Line which links between Nagoya and Aichi. Recently, in Korea, Maglev system has been reviewed for commercial application.
