In this article it is considered that how the slope-rotatability property of a second order design for response surface model is affected by block effects and how the design points are assigned into the blocks so that the blocked design may have the property of slope-rotatability. If an unblocked design is blocked properly, it could be a slope-rotatable design with block effects and this property is named as block slope-rotatability. We approach this problem from the moment matrix of the blocked design, which plays an important role to get the variances of the estimates, and suggest conditions of block slope-rotatability.

Korea Astnonomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) operates two solar radio observing facilities, the Korean station of the e-CALLISTO and the Korean Solar Radio Burst Locator (KSRBL). The e-CALLISTO station had suffered from tracking problem for past several years. Since 2011, KASI has developed a new tracking system, and recently the antenna has regained the its sun-tracking capability and full day-time coverage. The KSRBL also suffered from the control computer breakdown last year. After one year of operational gap, the KSRBL restored its normal daily observation. We also expanded the data server storage capacity, to store the full original data of 25 ms integration time and 0.25 MHz frequency resolution, amounting to about 80 GB per day.

Until now, occurrence of Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) is observed in Gyeongsang provinces, southeastern part of Korea. However, recently, the occurrence of RBSDV is increasing and spreading in Jeonra provinces including Gochang-gun, southwestern part of Korea. RBSDV infected plants showed typical symptoms including stunted, deformed leaves with white waxy or black-streaked swelling along the veins. We extracted viral genomic dsRNA from infected leaves and analyzed dsRNA pattern by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Ten genomic segments with similar sized dsRNAs were observed. We also detected RBSDV by reverse transcription (RT)-PCR using specific primers for S10 from genomic dsRNA and observed amplified DNA fragment specific for RBSDV S10.

최근 모바일 환경에서의 P2P 협력적인 캐싱 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 모바일 P2P 협력적인 캐싱이란 객체를 요청한 피어의 전파 범위 안에 있는 다른 피어들을 찾아 원하는 데이터가 있는지 살펴본 후 원하는 데이터가 주변 피어에 없을 때에만 서버에 요청을 보내는 방식으로 데이터 탐색 성능 개선과 제한된 피어의 저장 공간을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 P2P 네트워크 환경에서 이동성을 가진 피어의 저장 공간을 효과적으로 이용하기 위한 객체 크기 기반 P2P 협력적인 캐시 교체 정책을 제안하고자 한다. 가까운 위치 좌표를 가진 피어들을 하나의 그룹으로 묶은 그룹 기반의 모델링 환경에서 객체의 크기에 따른 캐시 교체 정책을 실제 웹 로그 트레이스에 적용하여 실험하였다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 교체 정책이 기존의 교체 정책들과 비교하여 더 우수한 성능을 보였다.

We report a case of hepatoma which had a suggested splenic metastasis in a 64 year-old male patient. Hepatoma proved by abdominal CT (Computed Tomography) and considerable accumulation of $^{99m}Tc$-DISIDA was noted in a enlarged spleen. We suggests the splenic uptake of the radionuclide corresponded to the diffuse metastasis of hepatoma to spleen.

Recently, for increasing consumed power and informational society, confidence of power supply is demanded. Beside, owing to most of these loads are nonlonear, utility line is polluted by these components, therefore, it is demanded compensation of harmonic current. In times past, special order of harmonic current is only compensated by passive filter, but active power filter can compensate whole harmonic current. Therefore, this paper propose uninterruptable power supply(UPS) with performance of active power filter.
