  • Recently a rolling stock has been requiring more convenience facilities for passenger as well as satisfied the basic functions. The convenience facilities design take into consideration safety factor, convenience and easy accessible for disable passenger. In a point of view, convenience facilities should be considered and designed as well as related safety. This paper describes points to be considered on design with related to convenience facilities and safety factor of Diesel Multiple Unit for Intercity through the IRISH DMU.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통 부하에 따른 차단기의 최적 개폐시점 선정을 위해 지상 및 진상 부하별 과도회복전압 발생 추이를 분석하였다. 또한 모선 전압의 위상 변화에 따라 차단기의 개극 시점 변화를 통해 발생되는 과도 회복전압의 파형을 분석하여 최적의 개폐 시점 추정을 EMTP(Electro-Magnetic Transients Program) 시뮬레이션 결과로 얻고 부하에 따른 차단기 개폐 제어 방법에 대해 분석하였다.

Acute oral and subcutaneous toxicity of Aloewhite in Mice

  • -Acute oral and subcutaneous toxicity of Aloewhite(30% aloesine) were carried out in ICR mice. In this study, we daily examined number of deaths, clinical signs, body weights, and pathological examinations for 14 days after single oral and subcutaneous administration of Aloewhite with different dose levels. Aloewhite did not show any remarkable toxic effect in mice. These results suggest that oral and subcutaneous LD$\sub$50/ values in mice were over 6.8g/kg and 10g/kg, respectively.

  • Recently, Trouble of sand supply is occurred according to exhaustion of natural sand resources. therefore, various measures are proposed for solution of trouble of sand supply. also the government settled trouble of sand supply through application of EEZ sand and crushed sand. but because both EEZ sand and crushed sand are poor against general sand, they lead to lowering of quality of ready-mixed concrete. Therefore, this study evaluated physical properties of mortar using EEZ sand and crushed sand and applied evaluation result to fundamental data The result of this study have shown that quality of mortar using EEZ sand and crushed sand independently is poor against general mortar. but, mortar flow and compressive strength is increased in case of mixing 222 sand and crushed sand properly.
