In this study, in order to achieve the uniformity of mechanical properties and microstructures of a hot-rolled coil in the transversal direction, the edge mask device is newly device is newly developed and installed at the upper laminar-flow cooling head in the run out table, which controls the transversal temperature of strip with enco panel and bar edge heater. The device that is transversally movable prevents the temperature drop of strip edge by blocking the cooling water into the strip edge. So, the pattern of edge mask set-up condition of the device was derived by analyzing the characteristics of strip temperature and mechanical properties according to the on-line application of edge mask.

A 66-year-old man presented with typical trigeminal neuralgia (TN). Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) revealed a primitive trigeminal artery (PTA) that came into contact with the trigeminal nerve. Based on MRA, we performed microvascular decompression (MVD). In the operational field, we confirmed the PTA location and performed MVD successfully. Postoperatively, the patient's pain subsided without any complications.

A new flexible $N_2O_2$-type tetradentate ligand, ethylene-diamine-N,N'-di-${\alpha}$-butyric acid (eddb), has been synthesized, and a series of cobalt (III) complexes of eddb, $[Co(edda)(L)]^{n+}$ (L = $Cl_2$, $(H_2O)_2$, $Cl\;H_2O$, and $Co^2_3$), have been prepared. Only s-cis isomers have been yielded during the preparation of complexes. Ring strain is cited as the primary cause for the preference for the s-cis geometric configuration.

Juvenile hypertrophy of the breast is a rare condition, leading to hyperplastic breast anomalies in adolescents. Here, we report a case involving a 15-year-old girl, presented with asymmetric enlargement of the left breast. Pronounced parenchymal thickening was found on initial ultrasonography (US). MRI and second-look US revealed a focal mass-like lesion on the left mid-lateral breast, confirmed as juvenile hypertrophy of the breast on pathology.

Metastasis of rhabdomysarcoma to the breast is a very rare manifestation in adult males. Herein, we report a case of metastasis from embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma in the left hypothenar muscle that presented as a breast mass in a 38-year-old man, who four months later expired because of multiple bone metastases related to pancytopenia. We describe the various imaging findings, including mammograms, ultrasonography, computerized tomography (CT), positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of this rare disease. The various imaging findings of this lesion could be helpful for future diagnosis of male breast lesions.

In this study, we investigated the effect of cadmium on genes expression related to zinc homeostasis in HT22 hippocampal neuron cell line by RT -PCR and western blotting technics. In the time-course effect, cadmium up-regulated the relative levels of MT -I and MT -II to~b-actin at 4 hr after treatment. These effects were consistent with MT -I/II protein contents by western blot analysis. But MT -III, a specific MT isoform in brain, was not affected by cadmium. (omitted)

Breast angiosarcoma is a very rare manifestation. Herein, we report a case of breast angiosarcoma in a 21-year-old woman admitted to our hospital with a one-year history of a palpable mass with fullness and swelling of the right breast. The various imaging findings, including mammography, ultrasound (US), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), of this rare disease are described. The imaging findings of US and combined MRI of breast angiosarcoma were specific in this case. The imaging characteristics could be helpful in detecting and diagnosing breast angiosarcoma in young women with a palpable mass with fullness and swelling of the breast.

High value sheet resistance (Rs, 350\ulcorner/ -80K\ulcorner/) born implanted polysilicon resistors were fabricated under process conditions compatible with bipolar integrated circuits fabrications. This paper includes studies of sensitivity of Rs to doping concentration, the effect of thermal annealing temperature on Rs, temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), the effect of polysilicon thickness on Rs and the Rs variation within a run and between runs.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 활용하여 새로운 서비스들을 개발하려는 노력이 진행 중이며, 이에 관련된 기술의 중요성도 급증하고 있다. 특히 감시정찰 센서네트워크의 핵심 구성요소인 저가의 경량 센서노드에서 측정한 미가공 데이터(raw data)를 사용하여 침입 물체의 실시간 탐지, 식별, 추적 및 예측하기 위한 디지털 신호처리 기술은 주요 기술 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 감시정찰 센서네트워크의 핵심 구성요소인 자기 센서노드에서 측정한 자기 미가공 데이터를 사용하여 사람과 차량을 탐지할 수 있는 자기 센서 디지털 신호처리 알고리즘을 설계한다. 알고리즘의 주 목표는 감시정찰용 센서노드의 탐지 신뢰성을 높이기 위한 높은 침입물체 탐지 성공률(success rate)과 낮은 허위신고(false alarm) 횟수를 가지는 것이다.

The genus Grapholita Treitschke, belonging to the tribe Grapholitini, comprises over 150 species worldwide with the majority occurring in the Holarctic region. However, in other regions, only few species are reported owing to a lack of collection and taxonomic study. The genus includes important agricultural pests worldwide that feed on several plants in the families Fabaceae and Rosaceae. In Korea, a comprehensive taxonomic study is required as only eight species have been reported to date. In this study, two species of Grapholita Treitschke, G. latericia Komai, 1999 and G. pallifrontana (Lienig & Zeller, 1846) are newly recorded from Korea. We provide redescribed and illustrated adult and available genitalia. Additionally, all available information, including collecting localities, distribution, host plants and biological characteristics is presented.
